About: Proud dog mom ready to welcome your furry family members into our home. I’ve been dogsitting on and off for the past 4 years and have also used Rover to find caregivers for my own pup. I know firsthand how stressful it can be for both you and your pets when you’re away, and I’m here to make that transition as smooth and comfortable as possible, both for you and your four-legged kids (when the connection feels right). My schedule is flexible, so I can devote plenty of time and attention to caring for your dogs. Our stand-alone home has a fully fenced front and back yard, with plenty of space for dogs to play together or relax on their own. I share my home with Olive, my 9-year-old pittie, who loves making new friends and playing from dawn to dusk. We have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and needs. In our home, dogs are welcome on the furniture, allowed to roam freely, fed separately, and exercised regularly. I do ask that visiting dogs be friendly with other dogs, potty trained, and comfortable being left alone for up to 8 hours while I bartend a few evenings a week (typically 3–10 PM). If this sounds like a good fit for your family, we’d love to connect and create new bonds within our dog-loving community. I run my small business from home, so the dogs spend their days exploring the yard, protecting it from the “evil” squirrels while I work, or joining me on mountain adventures when I’m off. I also bartend a few nights a week from 3–10 PM, so being comfortable with some alone time during those hours is a must. My schedule is flexible, and so am I. I live in a quiet neighborhood and have a very easy-going dog. High-energy animals who require extensive exercise and constant monitoring will not be the best fit. About: I've been nicknamed the "dog whisperer" by both friends and complete strangers. More than once, I've been told, "My dog usually doesn't warm up to strangers," only to have us become fast friends. I know every dog has a unique personality, and I enjoy taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I have two dogs of my own: Teddy, a Great Pyrenees/Pit Bull mix I adopted from the Boulder Humane Society, and Jersey, a Mini Aussie my fiancé brought into my life. Caring for two very different dogs has taught me that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Teddy loves the dog park, but gets possessive on leash and needs to be walked with extra vigilance. He prefers several shorter walks throughout the day. Jersey is more timid, cautious around unfamiliar dogs, and is happiest with one long morning walk in quieter settings, but also can’t wait to paddle board or hike a 14er (she’s done 14 so far). About: I’ve been taking care of my neighbors cats and dogs since childhood, and then had a family dog as well. Now miss having one of my own and would love to give yours some love! I work remotely with a flexible schedule so I have time to walk and play with your pet, and can always stop by to feed them as well. I have a house with a large fenced-in yard. I’m very clean and organized so your pet will be safe with me, and so will your home.
