About: I'm the proud owner of Layla, my 6-year-old Great Pyrenees, so I know big breeds well. I've cared for dogs from family and friends — from playful puppies to gentle seniors — and I understand that every dog is different, with their own needs and personality. I love giving each pup safe, attentive, and affectionate care. I currently have a very flexible schedule, so I'm able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care throughout the day. Pet care isn't something I have to squeeze in around other commitments — it's a priority I can build my day around, whether that's regular walks, sticking to feeding and potty schedules, or just spending quality time with a dog so they're never left alone too long. My availability means I can be reliable and consistent for both walks and in-home sitting. When caring for a dog in the client's home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow the feeding, walking, and potty schedule the owner sets, give plenty of attention and affection, and make sure the dog gets safe outdoor time and exercise. I keep a close eye on each dog's behavior and needs, since every dog is different, and I always prioritize their safety and comfort. For walks, I keep dogs securely leashed, stick to safe routes, and adjust the pace and distance to match the dog's age, energy, and breed. I'll also send updates and photos so owners have peace of mind while they're away.

About: I have a really compassionate side as evidenced by my work in healthcare. I’m so excited to meet each pet with their different personalities and make accommodations to have them feel as comfortable as possible during the time you’re away. I work healthcare hours during the day and am happy to see pets in the evening when off of work. I look forward to letting your pet get some energy out with play and going for walks! I want them to feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away and an easy transition when you get back. I currently have cats so we clean the litter box daily, provide time for play, fresh water and food daily. We also try out new enrichment toys often just to see what helps. I’ve seen my very shy strays become more social and at home over the years and it’s such a good feeling. Building trust with animals can take time and that’s where my patience comes in. When I had dogs growing up they were walked once or twice a day, backyard to play in and we would run around in together, also daily food and drink as well as comfortable places to sleep.

About: Your dog gets a half-acre fenced yard on two acres, and a gate that opens straight onto open space and trail. No loading up in a car to find a walk, we step out the door and go. For a big dog with a real engine, that’s the whole difference. I have two labs of my own, a male and a female, both social and easy, so your dog has company and a pack to fall into rather than a crate and a quiet house. I’ve been boarding for friends and neighbors for 10, and I know what a bored 70-pound dog does to a living room, which is why exercise comes first here, not as a bonus. Good fit for: large breeds, working and sporting dogs, adolescents with too much energy, dogs who don’t do well kenneled. Not a good fit for: dogs who can’t be around other dogs, or who need to be kept separate. I’d rather say that up front than have anyone spend a bad weekend. I also offer dog walking and drop-in visits for locals who’d rather keep their dog at home. Same approach, a walk here means actual miles on real terrain, not fifteen minutes on pavement. Daily photos and a note, usually from somewhere on the trail. I work from home, so dogs aren’t alone for long stretches, I’m here through the day and the routine is built around that. Mornings start with a walk on the trail behind the house before I sit down to work. I leave the doors open so that dogs are able to go in and out of the fenced yard through the day while I’m at my desk, with a midday break for a longer outing. Late afternoon is the real hike, when my two labs go out and your dog goes with them. Evenings are quiet, everyone’s tired by then, which is the point. I do take calls during the day, so there are stretches where I’m at my desk rather than actively playing, but the dogs are with me, not shut away. Weekends are more of the same with longer hikes and no calls Containment: My yard is a half-acre fully fenced, on two acres backing to open space. Gates stay latched and I check them before any dog goes out. Dogs are never off-leash on the open space unless the owner has confirmed reliable recall and I’ve seen it myself on a long line first, otherwise we hike on leash, every time. In the house: Dogs are loose in the main living area with me and my two labs, not confined to a garage or basement. I have crates available if your dog is crate-trained or you’d prefer it, and I’m happy to keep whatever routine they already have. New dogs and mine are introduced outside on neutral ground before anyone comes in the house. Requirements: Up to date on rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella. I ask for your vet’s contact and a backup person who can make decisions if I can’t reach you. Wildlife: We’re in the foothills, so coyotes, bears, and mountain lions are part of the landscape. Dogs go out into the fenced yard supervised, not unattended, and I don’t leave food or water bowls outside. Nobody is out in the yard alone at dawn or dusk. If something goes wrong: I’ll call you first, but I won’t wait on a callback to get a dog treated. My work is in wildfire and emergency planning, so I keep an evacuation plan for my own dogs including crates, leashes, records, and a go-bag ready and any boarding dog is included in it if there is an emergency.

About: I have grown up with a poodle my whole life!!! Then I was a dog walker/ dog sitter for a year in Boston so i have come across all kinds of dogs. i know they all have there own kind of personality. I also had a dog for a year and a half who had anxiety and was not dog friendly. He also had separation anxiety and had to take medication for it. So I have experience with behavioral issues. Though I am not able to get another dog right now. I just want to share that love to other dogs! From someone who was a dog owner I understand what you guys definitely need when you are out of town and want to keep you updated with your dog. To start the day off right I like to start with a 30 min walk. If I have to go to work then i make sure they get tons of love while I am at work. If not at work I will play fetch or do a mental stimulation with them to tire them out. then they get there morning nap in. Then i like to play with them whatever toy they want to play with. Take them on a walk before dinner and then feed them. then relax a little before the night walk. Then take them on a 30 min night walk. Make sure there is no swallow object on the floor. Make sure that they are not able to get into anything that is unsafe. Keep an eye on even

About: I've taken care of many different animals. From bunnies all the way up to horses. I primarily enjoy being the caretaker to dogs and cats. I use to work as a Dog Musher in Minnesota. Where I was in charge of 20+ Huskies. I would make sure the were healthy and happy. I have worked with many different dog breeds: Springer Spaniels, Huskies, Pitbulls, Golden retrievers, and many more. I just really enjoy taken care of different animals. They each have their different personalities. I can work with older dogs that may have a condition. It doesn't bother me in the slightest. Really well. I have a Job that is very flexible to where I can check on a pet 3 times a day. I also am comfortable house sitting while I'm at pet sitting. Feed the animals 2-3 times a day depending on the owners preference. Very important to know how the owner wants me to take care of them. If the animal needs anything special it is crucial to be exact about how it should be done. For the safety of the animal and person. Also be respectful of someone's home by keeping it the way you found it (if not better).

About: I have had dogs,cats,bunnies,chickens throughout my life. I know how to care for each one. I am a trusted and reliable handler with any family pet(s). Being a animal person is in my blood and I absolutely love it and enjoy caring for them. Currently I have a part time job. I also ride horses for friends that are away on trips. Together they don't pay my bills. Working with dogs and other animals for clients I have been thinking of doing for awhile now. It would be much appreciated to have you as my client and make this a career. I already have three dogs with me. Having any animals stay over at my house will not be an option at all. My dogs can be very wild and not the best behaved around new furry friends. For the safety of your pet and mine it would be best to dog sit over night at the clients home if preferred. Everything else is open.
