“Jennifer is great!!! Wayne and Yuki were so happy during their stay and well-cared for! They had fun playing with her littles too. Highly recommend and look forward to booking again. Thank you!!”

“Caitlin was amazing. Took us as a last min client/booking. Worked with us to do a meet and greet quickly and took the best care of my dog. She provided updates and it was amazing not having to worry while I was away.”

“Jamie was so wonderful and took great care of our dog. We had to go on an extended trip and having her take care of our pup was peace of mind during the extended time away. Highly recommend.”
“Brandi and her family did a wonderful job watching Ginger, our miniature poodle. They have a beautiful home and yard. Brandi’s girls are very sweet and kind. We received regular updates and Ginger was quite comfortable with them. We will be booking with Brandi again!”

“The backyard is huge and your dog will come home happy and exhausted. I’ve never had a pet sitter who took such loving care of my dog. Danielle communicates effectively and sends lots of pictures. She is a great choice for the next time you need someone to care for your pet.”

About: I have owned 3 dogs in my adult life. I have cared for senior dogs, not only my own. I have a dog that needed a lot of help getting around who lived until 14 years of age and was around 85 pounds. I also had a tripod dog who was 35 pounds and also needed a lot of assistance. Currently, I have one dog. He is a staffy that loves other dogs. We dog-sit a fair amount for neighbors in our community and he always loves having other dogs over. Unfortunately, we just recently lost our tripod that we had for 10 years. With that, my current dog is pretty lonely so that inspired me to make this profile. We are very active and my current dog goes on walks and hikes with me on a regular weekly basis. We live next to a lot of amazing Colorado parks (lair o the bear) and so there is no shortage of trails to take the pups on. I also have a lot of experience with reactive dogs so if your dog is reactive to other dogs, cyclists, people, I have a lot of experience with that particularly with large reactive dogs. I regularly dogsit my sisters two dogs. One is a reactive Pyrenees mix so she is quite large but I have no issue keeping her under control on walks together. I also have one cat. She is quite used to me Dogsitting and has met dogs of all sizes. We also have the ability to gate off the upstairs so that she can have her own space if needed. I work a fully remote job from home so if your pets are in my care, they will have limited time by themselves. I walk my dog daily either on my lunch break or after work and have a fully fenced in yard. I have doggy gates in our home in areas that we don’t want the dog to roam unsupervised (basement). I have an additional dog crate upstairs if you would prefer for your dog to be crated overnight. However, I also allow dogs to sleep in bed with us if that is preferable. We have a fully fenced in yard for the dogs to roam, do their business, and play. They get to go outside multiple times throughout the day aside from their daily walk.

“Dominic & family were wonderful — my dog is normally very slow to warm up to new people, but based on photo evidence she fit right into their household and was so comfortable. I feel like everyone in the family really just “adopted” her as theirs for a few days!”

“We received loads of pictures and updates during our time away and Rosie had a stellar time with Brian. It's unusual to find someone as conscientious and caring as this: very much appreciated!”

“Victoria did a great job on our puppy! She’s very nice and friendly, also takes care of the puppy well even tho she has puppy energy and goes crazy most of the time. I’m pretty sure our pup misses the time she was at the sitter home with Victoria, her son and her dog. With such a good care, we highly recommended.”

“We had a great experience with Alex. He is very kind and is a dog lover. He was great with communication and drop off pickup and being flexible with our times. He let us enjoy our trip but sent a few messages and took amazing photos of our dog Chip. He was thoughtful and gave us some prints and a magnet of his photography of our cutie pup Chip. We will definitely be using Alex again. Thank you!”

“Nick was absolutely fantastic. He sent regular updates and pics while Duke was in his care. So glad our dogs got along!! I appreciated the meet-n-greet beforehand. I highly recommend Nick to anyone looking for a caring provider.”

“Paul and Delia did a fantastic job watching our dog, Ivy, for an extra long weekend. Ivy can sometimes be hesitant of other dogs, but their two dogs are so sweet and Ivy had no trouble warming up to them and had a lot of fun. The daily updates were great to get too! We will use them again for sure!”

“Luna has stayed with Deborah twice now and both times have been fantastic! Our girl loves it there and I love getting pictures and updates on how she’s doing. We’ll never go back to boarding!”

“Veronica and Kevin were great with Zen! He seemed happy and seemed to love playing with their dog. He settled right into the household according to their pics. They both did a great job of communicating, were flexible and sent lots of pics while I was gone so felt he got some good lovin’. Would definitely rebook with these two (plus their pup)!”

“We were visiting from Texas and looking for a sitter for our dog, Leia, for 3-4 dags. Barbara was so sweet to Leia. Leia was very excited to see Barbara everytime she went there. Barbara took care of another dog also during that time and Leia loved playing in the yard with the other dog. Barbara also kept me posted about Leia the entire time. I would be very comfortable leaving Leia with Barbara when we come back to Bailey again.”

“We are so delighted with Matt and the care he provided for our two pups. He’s got a fantastic back yard that the girls loved exploring and they came home happy, healthy, and completely worn out. We’re so thankful to have found him and can’t wait to book with him again!”

“This is the second time Loki has stayed with Kristy and Nathan. We feel so comfortable knowing he's in good hands while we're away. They are great communicators and take adorable photos!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Genesee
Anna was an amazing, positive, and calm dog watcher. Even with my late notice booking and a very short overnight (late eve to morning) she still gave Bastion two good walks, and tons of attention with pictures. Also, the home is beautiful and in a gorgeous mountain neighborhood.

Suzy and her family were absolutely wonderful for watching our mini golden doodle for a week. He had the best time and in the middle of trip Suzy graciously took him to our local vet for us when he had a situation that needed attention to help make the rest of his week more comfortable. We would absolutely use Suzy again and recommend her highly!

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
