Lukas and Copper fell in love with Jenn as soon as we arrived! They were quite comfortable staying when I left them for the day. When we picked them up they were relaxed and not trying to leave right away!! Fantastic meet and greet.

Emily was awesome! Super quick to respond, has the sweetest pup, and was flexible with my schedule for pickup/dropoffs! She sent updates with photos and I could tell my dog was very comfortable with her 😊 I loved knowing my pup was getting all the attention she needs when i had a busy day so I’ll definitely book with Emily again!

Kym was fantastic. We will be using her again for a trip this September. We are very cautious who we trust with our puppies and would not bat an eye at using her again!

Large yard for our dog to play and run around, he had a great time and was tired when he got home. Danielle sent pictures throughout the day, I would definitely recommend her.

Sara and Ryan were awesome. We have a 4 year old German Shepherd, Kali, that can be a bit shy and they were great with her. It was easy to drop her off knowing she was going to be well cared for and have play buddies. We are already booking more days. :)

Nathan and Brooke were fantastic dog sitters. They took great care of Clifford all week during day care and clearly treated him like their own. He was happy, well cared for, and excited to see them each day. We really appreciated the updates and the peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, caring sitters.

Steven was awesome with my pup! Lots of walks for my active girl Kira to all the good parks. He sent a bunch of really good update photos/texts too! I’ve noticed her leash makers have gotten better since he has been watching her too which is super nice. Steven went out of his way to make sure my dog got her exercise which is huge for her and I don’t have to worry about her when I’m at work. Highly recommend!

About: I grew up with big dogs all my life (mastiffs specifically), which sparked my love for animals. From about May 2021 to August 2022 I fostered rescue animals, and in that time, I was able to help ~50 different animals. How did I do that exactly? Well, my house was a small shelter, as some people liked to call it, we had an open-door policy for any animal in need. With that being said, I have had experience with big dogs, small dogs, energetic dogs, reactive dogs, scared dogs, tripods, entire herds of puppies and kittens etc. There really was not a dog I couldn't handle, and I loved them all. Now I foster for a big dog rescue so my specialty is the XL doggies. I have a Great Dane foster fail of my own now. In addition, I have had endless experience giving dogs/cats medicine and know every dog has their quirks, so really nothing will surprise me or be too much. ASK ME ABOUT MY ANIMAL WEDDING CONCIERGE SERVICES Currently home 24/7 so I can attend to all your pets needs. Me and my dog engage in daily walks; regular exercise can be expected. Dogs: To ensure safety, I can feed dogs separately or crate them during mealtime—whatever works best based on your preference. For flight-risk or reactive dogs, I take proactive measures to prevent issues before they arise. While your dog plays or goes potty, I’ll stay outside with them to ensure no one tries to escape or gets overly feisty. I’m also mindful of maintaining a hazard-free environment by keeping items like toxic plants, choking hazards, or unsafe materials out of reach. Every dog has unique quirks, so I’ll always ask about your pup’s personality and the best ways to accommodate their needs. Dog walking: I prioritize safety by keeping a respectful distance from unfamiliar dogs, as it’s impossible to know how friendly or healthy they are. To keep walks engaging and fun, I like to explore different routes, providing new experiences each time. I adjust to your dog’s pace, whether they prefer a casual stroll or a brisk walk. Additionally, I allow your dog plenty of time to sniff and explore, which is mentally stimulating and helps them return home relaxed. I stay alert to ensure their surroundings are safe throughout the walk. During hot weather, I’m cautious about pavement temperatures, testing surfaces with my hand and avoiding asphalt to keep your pup comfortable and safe. Cats: For cats, safety is my top priority. If your feline friend is an escape artist, I’ll be extra vigilant to prevent any breakouts. If your cat tends to nibble on things they shouldn’t, I’ll make sure their environment is safe and free of hazards. I have experience caring for cats of all ages and needs, including administering medication when necessary. I also strive to create a calm, stress-free environment by maintaining their routine and respecting their unique preferences. Safety, Trust & Environment: I always ensure your pet’s environment is clean, comfortable, and free of hazards. Food and water bowls are refreshed regularly, and I create cozy spaces for rest and play. If I’m administering medication, I follow your instructions exactly to ensure your pet’s health and safety. Communication and trust are central to my care. I’ll provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I take the time to build a relationship with your pet, ensuring they feel secure and happy in my care. Whether your pet is full of energy or prefers quiet time, I tailor my approach to meet their needs and provide enrichment to keep them content.

About: I’ve been raising, fostering and rescuing dogs for the past 13 years. I’ve been through all the dog life stages and dealt with all varieties of dog behavioral and medical issues. Everyone I know says that in their next life they want to come back as one of my dogs-spoiled to no end! I work for myself and mostly from home so I am very flexible with my schedule and my ability to spend a lot of quality time with you dog. Also, I have about 10 fenced in acres up in the mountains that is a great place to bring you pup for some off leash playtime if that’s something you’re interested in I have a lot of space in my home and also over 10 fenced in acres to explore (with supervision, of course). Outdoor play/ walk time at my house can be on or off lease depending on what you are most comfortable with

About: I've taken care of dogs all my life and believe they are truly family and should be cared for as such. I do have some experience with senior care. My most recent dog lived until 13.5 years and needed extra love and care. I currently have a 10 month old French Bulldog. I work from home, so all dogs will get personal, full time care at any time of the day or night. I just adopted a 10 month old French Bulldog named Winston - who loves other dogs! Any dogs in my care will get full time attention from both me and Winston! I have a large, fenced in yard. It's only a 4 foot tall chain link fence so I can't take jumping dogs. But any smaller/ non-escape artist dogs will have plenty of room to play and run. I work from home so I will be able to watch/ play with dogs the entire time they are in my care.

Kris was completely amazing, flexible and friendly. She sent pics of my dog Miley and kept me posted about everything. Miley takes time to warm up with other dogs but I was so happy to hear she was playing with the other doggie guests right away. Next day my dog was very sleepy which means she was pooped from her time at Kris’s house.

Frank has a great energy with the dogs. I brought my three month old Havapoo puppy for his second visit and when we arrived he was all excited and wiggly. He was wagging his little tail and ran straight to Frank. That's all I needed! I'll be back.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 3,135 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Buffalo Creek. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Buffalo Creek commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 3,135 sitters in Buffalo Creek, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
