About: I’ve been raising, fostering and rescuing dogs for the past 13 years. I’ve been through all the dog life stages and dealt with all varieties of dog behavioral and medical issues. Everyone I know says that in their next life they want to come back as one of my dogs-spoiled to no end! I only accept up to 2 pets at a time for more focused care. About me - my husband and I owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I have experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking, camping and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets or kids, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, picnics and camping trips if your pet is able to join and they are small enough to fit in our camper. ;) It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! I limit my home to 2 pets at a time. Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! Please note that I will not accept dogs that exhibit any resource guarding, food aggression, space/bed reactivity.

Otherwise, let me know what you and your animal feel most comfortable with! I will always respect your wishes. :) I can be flexible, if you communicate your needs with me! ;) Message me to schedule a public meeting place and time so I can get to know you and your dog, then leave from there if it feels right. I only meet in public spaces. :) You can get to know me and how I will vibe with your dog or cat before we hit the trails.

About: Personal experience I've had smaller dogs (Westie and pugs) from adopting them young and adopting as a senior. But I've watched bigger dogs for coworkers and friends. I also have experience dealing with multiple medications and eyedrops for dogs. I love hiking and being outside so if your dog loves walks even better! Not to forget the kitties but I have also had a cat and watched cats in the past. Again young and older. My availability is pretty open as I work remote. Your fur kids will have a person around a good portion of the day. Which is perfect if you have a Velcro pet! I've cared for dogs that are crate trained and others that do not require a crate. I've also sat dogs that live in apartments and houses with a fenced yard.

About: I love playing with cats and dogs. I have no problems having to spend any extra time with animals. I am up to having fun for a long time or just feed and walk your animal. I love cats like crazy but also a dog lover. Love fur babies. I am up at 7am every morning so starting my more care and duties is always organized. I work a job at noon for 4 days out of the week then that I'm free. The way I take care pets in my home or in the client's home is simply making sure that the pet is always feeling loved and having its favorite toys or food and a nearby area.
About: I am a huge animal lover and have cared for my own and other people pets since I was young. Although I am a Colorado native, I just moved back to the US from Australia and brought my fur babies back with me (that's why I do not have any testimonies yet, but give me a shot and you won't be disspointed.) I have experience providing care in mine and other people's homes. I am available to stop in when and as often as required, I am also available to have dogs and cats boarded overnight for trips. I walk my dogs daily and I am an avid hiker (my dogs will not be at the house while your animals are with me to.keep your pet safe and worry as minimal as possible). I can take small little walks or walk for long periods of time or multiple walks a day if a dog requires extra walking. My home is a town home, with a patio and fake lawn made for pets that is fenced in.
