About: I form bonds quickly with dogs and love to have them on walks, hikes, and at our house in the mountains. My family and friends call me first when they’re going out of town and need a sitter. My schedule is currently super flexible so I'm available on weekdays and some weekends. Time of day is also flexible. Our dogs are limited to short walks now that they're older, I'm looking forward to longer dog walks :) I have a big fenced yard and two friendly senior pups who are used to other dogs in their house and yard. I put my dogs needs first, they’re not restricted anywhere besides beds in the house.

About: I grew up with big dogs all my life (mastiffs specifically), which sparked my love for animals. From about May 2021 to August 2022 I fostered rescue animals, and in that time, I was able to help ~50 different animals. How did I do that exactly? Well, my house was a small shelter, as some people liked to call it, we had an open-door policy for any animal in need. With that being said, I have had experience with big dogs, small dogs, energetic dogs, reactive dogs, scared dogs, tripods, entire herds of puppies and kittens etc. There really was not a dog I couldn't handle, and I loved them all. Now I foster for a big dog rescue so my specialty is the XL doggies. I have a Great Dane foster fail of my own now. In addition, I have had endless experience giving dogs/cats medicine and know every dog has their quirks, so really nothing will surprise me or be too much. For flight-risk or reactive dogs, I take proactive measures to prevent issues before they arise. While your dog plays or goes potty, I’ll stay outside with them to ensure no one tries to escape or gets overly feisty. I’m also mindful of maintaining a hazard-free environment by keeping items like toxic plants, choking hazards, or unsafe materials out of reach. Every dog has unique quirks, so I’ll always ask about your pup’s personality and the best ways to accommodate their needs. Dog walking: I prioritize safety by keeping a respectful distance from unfamiliar dogs, as it’s impossible to know how friendly or healthy they are. To keep walks engaging and fun, I like to explore different routes, providing new experiences each time. I adjust to your dog’s pace, whether they prefer a casual stroll or a brisk walk. Additionally, I allow your dog plenty of time to sniff and explore, which is mentally stimulating and helps them return home relaxed. I stay alert to ensure their surroundings are safe throughout the walk. During hot weather, I’m cautious about pavement temperatures, testing surfaces with my hand and avoiding asphalt to keep your pup comfortable and safe. Cats: For cats, safety is my top priority. If your feline friend is an escape artist, I’ll be extra vigilant to prevent any breakouts. If your cat tends to nibble on things they shouldn’t, I’ll make sure their environment is safe and free of hazards. I have experience caring for cats of all ages and needs, including administering medication when necessary. I also strive to create a calm, stress-free environment by maintaining their routine and respecting their unique preferences. Safety, Trust & Environment: I always ensure your pet’s environment is clean, comfortable, and free of hazards. Food and water bowls are refreshed regularly, and I create cozy spaces for rest and play. If I’m administering medication, I follow your instructions exactly to ensure your pet’s health and safety. Communication and trust are central to my care. I’ll provide regular updates with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. I take the time to build a relationship with your pet, ensuring they feel secure and happy in my care. Whether your pet is full of energy or prefers quiet time, I tailor my approach to meet their needs and provide enrichment to keep them content.

About: I've taken care of dogs all my life and believe they are truly family and should be cared for as such. I do have some experience with senior care. My most recent dog lived until 13.5 years and needed extra love and care. I currently have a 10 month old French Bulldog. I work from home, so all dogs will get personal, full time care at any time of the day or night. I just adopted a 10 month old French Bulldog named Winston - who loves other dogs! Any dogs in my care will get full time attention from both me and Winston! I have a large, fenced in yard. It's only a 4 foot tall chain link fence so I can't take jumping dogs. But any smaller/ non-escape artist dogs will have plenty of room to play and run. I work from home so I will be able to watch/ play with dogs the entire time they are in my care.

About: I’ve had my fair share of having my own dogs and taking care of Family & Friends dogs. Everyone can rely on me when it’s needed!! I’m a very attentive person. I pay a lot of attention to details. I am a full time Stay at Home Mom. I have 2 young kids. My kid’s love animals. I can wake up anytime during the night to take care of needs in my household, even our dog and others. It would be just me taking care of the dogs. My kids will be in school during school hours. And I have plenty of time to give. And more. If dogs are around, I will supervise my kids. I never leave them with any dogs unsupervised. We will go on walks after homework. And have a few hours of play time before bed. Just to exhaust everyone in my home. We have a good size yard and it’s fenced. Half is grassed and other side is cement. Which our dog loves to lay and sun bathe during the summer.

If we get to have a sleepover, our house has lots of space for tug of war and belly scratches. Our big backyard is fenced in with lots of room to roam! Our house includes a doggy door to a handicap ramp that we built from the deck so our fun-loving 3-legged dog Flash & his friends have easy access to the lawn. In my free time I like to sew festive bandanas for my new furry friends so don't be surprised if they come home with stylish new collar accessories:) I currently only work part time, so I have plenty of time to spend with your furbabies. We are happy to board nights and weekends as well for anyone that needs to go out of town. We have a fenced in yard and a 3 legged dog who loves making new friends. Our house is central to three parks nearby so your pup will have plenty of options for new adventures! If they have too much fun, we are happy to provide a bath using a conditioning shampoo that's pH balanced for dog skin, soap & paraben free and makes them smell like sweet coconut. In our opinion, couches are made for lounging and welcome furry friends to get cozy while they stay with us too.

About: Hi all, I am new to rover but not new to dog sitting. I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and absolutely love them! I’ve had Pugs, a Standard Poodle, and a Cavapoo, and I’m currently a proud dog mama to a teacup Bernedoodle. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds and would love to walk, feed, play with, or run with your pup. I have a fenced-in dog park in my neighborhood and a puppy-proofed home. I’ve also dog-sat for families in the past, including staying overnight, feeding, and taking their dogs on multiple walks throughout the day. I’m responsible, caring, and would treat your dog like my own! I work from home so my schedule is flexible. There are no kids in my home I work remotely so my schedule is flexible. I can take your dog out whenever they need to go to the bathroom as well as long walks in the morning and afternoon. I live in a townhouse that is spacious.
