I won’t be boarding at my home, but I have reliable transportation and wouldn’t mind taking your dog to a dog park or nearby hiking trail. About: Throughout my life I have taken care of my own and partner's pets. As a 'ski bum' I have often taken care of roommate's as if they were my own...including one instance when they were absent/unavailable to authorize expensive care for an elderly dog (Dakota, RIP) so I layed with him and listened to his heart stopped beating and he took his last breath and stayed by his side while the sun came up and his owner/my roommate returned 4 hours afterwards. I also am the one that shows up to feed, water, and walk assuming responsibilities for pets as if they were my own. I am currently picking up shifts as a freelancer in the service industry so I am able to have a flexible schedule as well as am able to be available when most people are working...i.e. midday I am very attuned to the animal's personal needs, schedule, routines, etc and consider current and upcoming weather patterns in order to insure they are properly taken care of

I am currently working from remote/from home and am done by 3 30 pm, which always gives me the opportunity to be with your fur babies all day. Although I am a Colorado native, I just moved back to the US from Australia and brought my fur babies back with me (that's why I do not have any testimonies yet, but give me a shot and you won't be disspointed.) I have experience providing care in mine and other people's homes. I am available to stop in when and as often as required, I am also available to have dogs and cats boarded overnight for trips. I walk my dogs daily and I am an avid hiker (my dogs will not be at the house while your animals are with me to.keep your pet safe and worry as minimal as possible). I can take small little walks or walk for long periods of time or multiple walks a day if a dog requires extra walking. My home is a town home, with a patio and fake lawn made for pets that is fenced in.

I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole. I know how important it is to give dogs walks, love, and treats! I have spent a lot of time training Goose and I would ensure I adhere to whatever rule a dog’s owner has. I love matching a dog’s energy whether that includes cuddling with them, taking them on walks/hikes, or playing in the park. I’m a sucker for giving them treats but am VERY strict about no human food and adhering to whatever dietary restrictions they have! Dogs are my therapy; caring for them happy makes me happy. I work from home half of the week and am happy to adjust my flexible schedule as needed to ensure any dog’s needs are taken care of, including mine. I always ensure I’m aware of a dog’s walking behaviors. I never walk without a leash and do not allow them to go off lease and in a public setting until I know I’m comfortable with them. I never give in to begging for human food and always ensure I shut crates appropriately as desired by the owner. I often reward puppies with small treats for positive enforcing behavior.

About: I've been working with animals from a young age, more specifically dogs and cats. Both my dog and my cat made it well into their senior years and both of them required medications, that being said I am more than willing to provide each and every pet with their needs. I'm very familiar with bathing animals as well so if that were ever a need it could be done. One of my most recent jobs was in a Boarding Center and I loved working there, it definitely taught me a lot! I'd love to work with animals full time like I used to and I'm hoping I'll have that opportunity on Rover, Dogs make the world better! I love spending time with pets both indoors and outdoors. I know some dogs like to play inside while others would prefer to play outside.
