About: I am an animal lover that works from home, so I will always be around. I'm just looking to help you care for your pets and get my pet fix! I only accept up to 2 pets at a time for more focused care. About me - my husband and I owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I have experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking, camping and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets or kids, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, picnics and camping trips if your pet is able to join and they are small enough to fit in our camper. ;) It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! I limit my home to 2 pets at a time. Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! Please note that I will not accept dogs that exhibit any resource guarding, food aggression, space/bed reactivity.

About: I form bonds quickly with dogs and love to have them on walks, hikes, and at our house in the mountains. My family and friends call me first when they’re going out of town and need a sitter. My schedule is currently super flexible so I'm available on weekdays and some weekends. Time of day is also flexible. Our dogs are limited to short walks now that they're older, I'm looking forward to longer dog walks :) I have a big fenced yard and two friendly senior pups who are used to other dogs in their house and yard. About: I am a huge animal lover and my dog, Goose, is my world. I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole. I know how important it is to give dogs walks, love, and treats! I have spent a lot of time training Goose and I would ensure I adhere to whatever rule a dog’s owner has. I love matching a dog’s energy whether that includes cuddling with them, taking them on walks/hikes, or playing in the park. I’m a sucker for giving them treats but am VERY strict about no human food and adhering to whatever dietary restrictions they have! Dogs are my therapy; caring for them happy makes me happy. I work from home half of the week and am happy to adjust my flexible schedule as needed to ensure any dog’s needs are taken care of, including mine. I always ensure I’m aware of a dog’s walking behaviors. I never walk without a leash and do not allow them to go off lease and in a public setting until I know I’m comfortable with them. I never give in to begging for human food and always ensure I shut crates appropriately as desired by the owner. I often reward puppies with small treats for positive enforcing behavior.
