About: Throughout my life I have taken care of my own and partner's pets. As a 'ski bum' I have often taken care of roommate's as if they were my own...including one instance when they were absent/unavailable to authorize expensive care for an elderly dog (Dakota, RIP) so I layed with him and listened to his heart stopped beating and he took his last breath and stayed by his side while the sun came up and his owner/my roommate returned 4 hours afterwards. I also am the one that shows up to feed, water, and walk assuming responsibilities for pets as if they were my own.
