I have 1 yr old Golden Retriever named Briggs that came to me by way of Golden Retriever Freedom Rescue! He’s the sweetest boy and loves play dates with his doggie friends! About: Hi there! My name is Chris and I just moved back to the Boulder County area from Montana. I'm a former EMT and have many years of experience with puppers of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. I would love to meet your pup! My schedule is very open and I take my own pup on walks when I can. I work remotely and only need my cellphone. I'm usually available from 7AM until 10PM every day. I have a great deal of experience watching, walking, and taking care of dogs in both my home and others homes. I request a simple schedule that I can follow for the pups and keep consistency, even if that means singing to them to get them to eat their dinner!

About: Animals have been a gift in my life in so many different ways. I've had cats and dogs of my own throughout the years but none presently who live with me, but I do miss them so! I worked in animal care and adoptions at a Humane Society for half a decade and I've worked as a Veterinary Technician at a clinic for a few years as well. I've been intermittently house sitting on and off since I was in my teens (20 years ago!). I've come to see a lot of different homes and learn about their particular needs over the years, and have learned to communicate clearly and ask questions about expectations and what not. It can be an intimate experience living in someones home and caring for their beloved four leggeds and taking them on as your own. House sitting feels much more than just a gig to me, it's truly stepping into the world of the people I'm sitting for and learning how to love and care for their beings, belongings, plants, kitchen things, neighbors, appliances, etc. I do love a good woodstove or fireplace and nothing beats a snuggled up animal by a warm fire with tea. I run my own wellness business as a sound healer so have a flexible schedule and do sessions remotely for clients. I have chunks of flexible time to spend with animals who need a little extra TLC or what have you, which I am so grateful for! I love getting outside for walks and its always nice to have a canine being to enjoy that with. Or, sometimes its nice to have a feline being to hang around with if they are wanting any interaction. I will take on your home as my own for the time that I am there and treat it as such and care for it to the absolute best of my abilities.

About: I am a huge animal lover and my dog, Goose, is my world. I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole. I know how important it is to give dogs walks, love, and treats! I have spent a lot of time training Goose and I would ensure I adhere to whatever rule a dog’s owner has. I love matching a dog’s energy whether that includes cuddling with them, taking them on walks/hikes, or playing in the park. I’m a sucker for giving them treats but am VERY strict about no human food and adhering to whatever dietary restrictions they have! Dogs are my therapy; caring for them happy makes me happy. I always ensure I’m aware of a dog’s walking behaviors. I never walk without a leash and do not allow them to go off lease and in a public setting until I know I’m comfortable with them.
