“Joan is fantastic!! My dog loves being with her and all the adventures he gets to go on. Meanwhile I don’t worry about him being well taken care of. I love all the videos and updates.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Mozelle! She is a great communicator, lots of texts and reassuring photos and videos. I know our pup was happy and well cared for while we were away. We will definitely use her again in the future.”

“High praise for Nicole, Craig and family! Our Cozmo's first stay with this lovely family was a great success. He's kind of a homebody and mostly just wants to be near his humans, but he settled in very quickly. In fact, it almost seemed like he wanted to stay longer when we arrived to pick him up. We appreciated Nicole's excellent communication and flexibility with our schedule. We will definitely return. Thank you so much!”

“Thank you for watching Sky & Moose! Chelcee and Alexander were very communicative and we felt at ease leaving them in their care. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area looking for dog sitters and will definitely be returning to them in the future!”

“Shanna was great! We were going out of town for a month so we really had to find somebody we felt good about. Just from the meet & greet, we knew she'd take great care of our dog and she did. He gets meds every day and can be picky with food and standoffish with other dogs and she handled all of it. He went on long walks every day, he got to go camping with their family and out to lunch with friends. Plus her house is perfect for dog sitting - great areas for the pups to look out over the woods and a very quiet street. Shanna sent photos every week of their fun activities and just hanging out around the house. We could tell from the photos that Kaz was having a great time. When we picked him up to come home, he ran back to give Shanna a hug goodbye. Shanna will be our go-to for this dog from now on.”

About: I have always loved animals and had many pets growing up. Two golden retrievers, a black lab, cats, a parrot, hermit crabs, hamsters, frogs, lizards, fish, you name it. I got my own dog as soon as I could. I adopted a Doberman Pinscher puppy named Sage when I was 18 years old and she is everything I've ever wanted. I love caring for and spending time with my girl. I work a part time remote job at the moment so I am available basically anytime of the day. I have a pup at home that requires me to be home most of the time. I offer consistent attention, frequent potty breaks, long walks, interactive games, and lots of love. Every individual animal is different in their preferences and I am sure to listen when they tell me.
“Jenna took such good care of my dog, taking him on a great hike for the day I needed her to watch him (even with a short notice of needing her sitting help) Very happy and would recommend!”

“Eric was an awesome pet sitter for our two dogs, Mattie and Mindy, over a holiday weekend. We had a meet up prior to the dated. He provided frequent updates over the two days and provided lots of pictures of them walking, playing and sleeping. Our pets were well cared for and much appreciated. I highly recommend using Eric to take care of your pets. Thank you.”

About: I’ve taken care of large/,medium & small dogs since I was 20. Neighbors, friends and family relied on me to groom, walk, feed & bath their pets, and I can do it for you. As I’m retired with plenty of time to care for your dog, and take it on walks, if you choose.. I do have a cat so your pet needs to be cat-friendly. I’m available for boarding/drop-off after 2 p.m., on weekdays & weekends, unless other arrangements made in advance. I am retired, and have plenty of time to care for your pet(s). I have a fenced yard, a large, covered, enclosed deck for lounging in open-air, 2 friendly small dogs, and a cat. Also live in fairly large house with my grandson who is 4 yrs. old (must get along w/child, small dogs & cat).. I can walk your dog if arrangements made in advance (for additional fee.) I crate my dogs at night, and prefer you provide a crate for your dog(s), as well.
About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life! I've volunteered with and fostered for local dog rescues, in addition to raising dogs of my own, giving me experience with puppies, seniors, and dogs with a variety of personalities and needs. My fiancé works remotely from home full-time, and I work a hybrid schedule as a physician assistant, so there's almost always someone home for companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. We currently share our home with our friendly 2-year-old Golden Retriever and our sweet 12-year-old Bernedoodle, who love making new friends. With a fully fenced backyard and a neighborhood full of scenic trails, your pup will enjoy lots of exercise, sniffari adventures, and, of course, plenty of love. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home! I am currently working as a Physician Assistant at a telehealth company and work a hybrid schedule. My fiance works in consulting and has a fully remote job. Therefore, we will both be home most days during the workday. We typically wake up and take our pups on a long walk each morning during the week and weekends. We have a fenced in yard and two friendly pups at home including a 12 year old Bernedoodle and 2 year old golden retriever. The Golden absolutely loves having friends over. We have a crate if needed for your pup.
“Amazing, Shawna was the best! She went above and beyond with my dogs & even helped with getting medicine and giving it to my dog. She was so kind and informative. They came home happy, tired and clean! :) Highly recommend Shawna!”

“Anna was an amazing, positive, and calm dog watcher. Even with my late notice booking and a very short overnight (late eve to morning) she still gave Bastion two good walks, and tons of attention with pictures. Also, the home is beautiful and in a gorgeous mountain neighborhood.”

“Dominique and her family were very accommodating in watching our puppy. She was close to our house, so everything worked out great. Fenced in yard, and gates in house were helpful.”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
97% of sitters in Grant can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Grant.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
