I only accept up to 2 pets at a time for more focused care. About me - my husband and I owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I have experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking, camping and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets or kids, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, picnics and camping trips if your pet is able to join and they are small enough to fit in our camper. ;) It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! I limit my home to 2 pets at a time. Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends where and on length of stay requested).

I am licensed to administer medication to humans, and have volunteered with wild animal rescues, so I can care for sick animals too. I won’t be boarding at my home, but I have reliable transportation and wouldn’t mind taking your dog to a dog park or nearby hiking trail. About: Hi! I’m Kelly, I’m 27 and have been an animal lover pretty much my entire life. I grew up in a house with three dogs and three cats, ranging from puppies to senior cats and a tiny toy poodle all the way up to a Great Dane, so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and cats with every personality imaginable! I also used to volunteer with an animal shelter, helping transport animals to foster homes and adoption events. My stepmom is also a vet tech, so I was lucky to grow up around someone who taught me a lot about caring for animals and understanding their individual needs/ any medications! About: Throughout my life I have taken care of my own and partner's pets. As a 'ski bum' I have often taken care of roommate's as if they were my own...including one instance when they were absent/unavailable to authorize expensive care for an elderly dog (Dakota, RIP) so I layed with him and listened to his heart stopped beating and he took his last breath and stayed by his side while the sun came up and his owner/my roommate returned 4 hours afterwards. I also am the one that shows up to feed, water, and walk assuming responsibilities for pets as if they were my own. I am currently picking up shifts as a freelancer in the service industry so I am able to have a flexible schedule as well as am able to be available when most people are working...i.e. midday I am very attuned to the animal's personal needs, schedule, routines, etc and consider current and upcoming weather patterns in order to insure they are properly taken care of

I only accept up to 2 pets at a time for more focused care. About me - my husband and I owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I have experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking, camping and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets or kids, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, picnics and camping trips if your pet is able to join and they are small enough to fit in our camper. ;) It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! I limit my home to 2 pets at a time. Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! I can also come over your home and care for your pet there as needed (depends where and on length of stay requested).
