Allie also kept Annie safe during the heatwave, making sure to walk her early or skip the walk when necessary. About: I am a musician that has lived in Denver for seven years and has since moved out to my cabin in Conifer. Dogs have always been part of my life and my family. When I was growing up, I noticed how hard it was on my parents to put our dogs into a kennel when we went on vacation. As our dogs got older it was nearly impossible to find someone to look after our beloved pets. As a pet sitter, I get to provide that care that we lacked when I was a kid. My goal is to treat every pet like my own and keep everyone--pets and owners--comfortable during the stay. I've spent years working with dogs on a farm, in a few doggy day care centers and most recently working with a top rated dog care company here in Denver. During this time, I enjoyed the company of many different types of dogs: outgoing, shy, cuddle machines, playful, big and small. Don't you love how all dogs have their own personalities? I would love to meet you and your furry family members--and have the privilege of taking care of them. My promise to you is that I will take care of them like they're part of my family. I do have a full time job, but that doesn't stop me from making sure your pooches get a full day of activities in. I prefer staying at the clients home or even stopping in to take care of your furry pets only because I am unable to have pets where I live. About: Hi! We are Kati and Mitch, a work from home couple living with our pack in the mountains. We’ve owned and raised dogs of all shapes and attitudes and sizes, so our experience covers most ground! Our 14 year old dog is a pit who was very reactive in his prime, teaching us a lot about how to handle reactive dogs safely, but now as a sleepy senior, he’s taught us more about senior dog care. We raised our second dog from a puppy, so she taught us so much about the adorable havoc that puppies can bring! Our newest is a rescue, who was a street dog in Texas. She was very skittish and is still people-shy, so we’ve learned a lot about how to approach wary dogs, and how to break those naughty habits she learned on the streets! We love our pack so much, and we’d love to use our knowledge to love yours too! We both work from home 100% of the time, so we are home all day if you need a daycare or want to board, your pup will rarely be left alone if ever! Our schedules are flexible enough that we can easily fit in multiple drop in visits or daily walks too. We have a fully fenced in yard, a little over half an acre. Our two younger dogs would love to play with a new friend, but will also give space if yours isn’t into the rough and tumble! Our dogs are all allowed on the furniture, one sleeps in bed with us. They are the center of our attention all day, yours will be no different! :)

About: Animals have been a gift in my life in so many different ways. I've had cats and dogs of my own throughout the years but none presently who live with me, but I do miss them so! I worked in animal care and adoptions at a Humane Society for half a decade and I've worked as a Veterinary Technician at a clinic for a few years as well. I've been intermittently house sitting on and off since I was in my teens (20 years ago!). I've come to see a lot of different homes and learn about their particular needs over the years, and have learned to communicate clearly and ask questions about expectations and what not. It can be an intimate experience living in someones home and caring for their beloved four leggeds and taking them on as your own. House sitting feels much more than just a gig to me, it's truly stepping into the world of the people I'm sitting for and learning how to love and care for their beings, belongings, plants, kitchen things, neighbors, appliances, etc. I do love a good woodstove or fireplace and nothing beats a snuggled up animal by a warm fire with tea. I run my own wellness business as a sound healer so have a flexible schedule and do sessions remotely for clients. I have chunks of flexible time to spend with animals who need a little extra TLC or what have you, which I am so grateful for! I love getting outside for walks and its always nice to have a canine being to enjoy that with. Or, sometimes its nice to have a feline being to hang around with if they are wanting any interaction. I will take on your home as my own for the time that I am there and treat it as such and care for it to the absolute best of my abilities.
About: I am a huge animal lover and my dog, Goose, is my world. I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole. I know how important it is to give dogs walks, love, and treats! I have spent a lot of time training Goose and I would ensure I adhere to whatever rule a dog’s owner has. I love matching a dog’s energy whether that includes cuddling with them, taking them on walks/hikes, or playing in the park. I’m a sucker for giving them treats but am VERY strict about no human food and adhering to whatever dietary restrictions they have! Dogs are my therapy; caring for them happy makes me happy. I work from home half of the week and am happy to adjust my flexible schedule as needed to ensure any dog’s needs are taken care of, including mine. I always ensure I’m aware of a dog’s walking behaviors. I never walk without a leash and do not allow them to go off lease and in a public setting until I know I’m comfortable with them. I never give in to begging for human food and always ensure I shut crates appropriately as desired by the owner. I often reward puppies with small treats for positive enforcing behavior.

About: Hi! I’m Stuss — a firefighter/paramedic and lifelong dog person based near Keystone/Dillon. Outside of work I volunteer at the Frisco Animal Shelter and with Summit Lost Pet Rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of dogs: puppies, seniors, shy dogs, reactive dogs etc. I’ve also owned two dogs through their whole lives, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your best friend with someone else. My setup is simple: I only take one dog at a time (or two from the same household). That means your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and care that’s tailored to their routine — not a busy “pack” situation. I donate 20% of my earnings on Rover to the local animal shelter/rescue work I support. My work schedule is 48 hour shifts, and then I have a block of 4 days off. Some of those days I go on adventures, and some of those days I chill around the house. Those "rest days" are when I open my calendar up for dog sitting, so, your dog(s) will have my company all day while I'm at home doing chores, relaxing, and getting outside. I love to hike year round and I will take your dog with me, if they're up for it. I always match the day to your dog. Energetic dogs can join for longer walks/hikes, and seniors can take it slow with short strolls and extra couch time. I live in a ground-floor condo at the end of a quiet street with trails and open space nearby. With your permission, I also drive a few minutes to local trailheads for variety, and I kind of specialize in knowing quiet places to hike without the crowds. I stick closely to your dog’s normal routine: meals, meds, potty schedule, exercise, and any special instructions.
