About: I am an animal lover that works from home, so I will always be around. I'm just looking to help you care for your pets and get my pet fix! I only accept up to 2 pets at a time for more focused care. About me - my husband and I owned two beautiful Vizslas over the last 17 years and recently lost our 2nd one. I have experience caring for high energy and senior dogs (we cared for our dogs with arthritis, Cushing's Disease, muscle atrophy). I love walking, hiking, camping and spending time with animals. I have a large 1 acre property and spacious home. No other pets or kids, just me and my husband. I am perfectly happy caring for one pet at a time if you prefer your pet to be the only pet with me. I have also cared for friends' pets for a long time as well but am adding my services here to the Rover community. Thank you! I work from home full time, so I have a lot of flexibility. I am able to take breaks often during the day for potty breaks and walks. I often hang out in the yard as well. On some weekends I like to go hiking or boondock camping, I also enjoy visiting new places. I can bring your pet along on hikes, picnics and camping trips if your pet is able to join and they are small enough to fit in our camper. ;) It is ideal for me to care for pets that can be left at home for at least 3-4 hours at a time and unattended just in case I need to run errands, especially for longer bookings. If not, I can bring them with me if it is an option. Open to discussion! :) Crates are fine if they are crate trained and unable to roam around the house alone. I have a spacious 1 acre property, but it is unfenced. However it is far from the road and our area is very quiet. I can keep your pet on a leash for potty breaks if they are prone to running away. My house is spacious and has two floors with just the two of us and no other pets or kids. The stairs and floors are covered in non-slip rugs for pets. I have a baby gate to keep your pet safe from stairs if needed. There are extra rugs for the floors if needed (our senior dogs used to slip a lot). I also have a large deck that is fully enclosed - dogs love hanging out there! I limit my home to 2 pets at a time. Since I am home a lot, I can take your pet for a walk, hang out outside or let them keep me company on the couch too! Please note that I will not accept dogs that exhibit any resource guarding, food aggression, space/bed reactivity.

About: Hi! We are Kati and Mitch, a work from home couple living with our pack in the mountains. We’ve owned and raised dogs of all shapes and attitudes and sizes, so our experience covers most ground! Our 14 year old dog is a pit who was very reactive in his prime, teaching us a lot about how to handle reactive dogs safely, but now as a sleepy senior, he’s taught us more about senior dog care. We raised our second dog from a puppy, so she taught us so much about the adorable havoc that puppies can bring! Our newest is a rescue, who was a street dog in Texas. She was very skittish and is still people-shy, so we’ve learned a lot about how to approach wary dogs, and how to break those naughty habits she learned on the streets! We love our pack so much, and we’d love to use our knowledge to love yours too! We both work from home 100% of the time, so we are home all day if you need a daycare or want to board, your pup will rarely be left alone if ever! Our schedules are flexible enough that we can easily fit in multiple drop in visits or daily walks too. We have a fully fenced in yard, a little over half an acre. Our two younger dogs would love to play with a new friend, but will also give space if yours isn’t into the rough and tumble! Our dogs are all allowed on the furniture, one sleeps in bed with us. About: I form bonds quickly with dogs and love to have them on walks, hikes, and at our house in the mountains. My family and friends call me first when they’re going out of town and need a sitter. My schedule is currently super flexible so I'm available on weekdays and some weekends. Time of day is also flexible. Our dogs are limited to short walks now that they're older, I'm looking forward to longer dog walks :) I have a big fenced yard and two friendly senior pups who are used to other dogs in their house and yard. Caring for dogs is my full-time job, and I provide around-the-clock supervision. Other than a brief trip for essentials, your pup has my full attention day and night. Because every dog has different needs, rates may vary. Some pups require more time, energy, or structure, and in those cases the rate is adjusted to reflect the additional supervision or management needed to keep them safe and comfortable. This ensures every dog receives the right level of care — and gives you the confidence that your furry friend is being looked after as if they were my own. Safe & Secure Environment My home has a fully fenced backyard, built and maintained with safety in mind. After raising two strong alpha dogs here for 17 years, I made sure the fencing is secure and reliable. Dogs always get supervised time outside — I never just leave them unattended in the yard.

About: I am a huge animal lover and my dog, Goose, is my world. I find genuine happiness in taking care of dogs (especially if they get along with mine!) and I have Rover sat/walked several dogs in both Denver and Jackson Hole. I know how important it is to give dogs walks, love, and treats! I have spent a lot of time training Goose and I would ensure I adhere to whatever rule a dog’s owner has. I love matching a dog’s energy whether that includes cuddling with them, taking them on walks/hikes, or playing in the park. I’m a sucker for giving them treats but am VERY strict about no human food and adhering to whatever dietary restrictions they have! Dogs are my therapy; caring for them happy makes me happy. I work from home half of the week and am happy to adjust my flexible schedule as needed to ensure any dog’s needs are taken care of, including mine. I always ensure I’m aware of a dog’s walking behaviors. I never walk without a leash and do not allow them to go off lease and in a public setting until I know I’m comfortable with them. I never give in to begging for human food and always ensure I shut crates appropriately as desired by the owner. I often reward puppies with small treats for positive enforcing behavior.
About: I have a fenced yard with no pets or children that live at home. I have been taking care of animals since I was a young boy. I find animals to possess the purest form of unconditional love and kindness… I have always been the go to pet sitter for family and friends…. About: I've rescued, adopted, and rehabbed animals since I was a young girl. I have experience with all ages, and those with mobility issues and disabilities. I am currently working from remote/from home and am done by 3 30 pm, which always gives me the opportunity to be with your fur babies all day. I care for animals as closely to what they're used to, in their homes. I'm very careful to follow feeding times and walking times closely.
About: I lived with pets growing up...dogs, cats, reptiles, horses. I am very active, and will play or run with your animal for hours! I am licensed to administer medication to humans, and have volunteered with wild animal rescues, so I can care for sick animals too. I choose the hours I work at my job, allowing me to pick up a shift at any hour and remain flexible with last-minute changes. I won’t be boarding at my home, but I have reliable transportation and wouldn’t mind taking your dog to a dog park or nearby hiking trail. About: I’ve cared for friends dogs as well as my own. I make it a point to pay attention to every dog individually and accommodate for uniqueness. I know some overheat and get tired faster than others, some dogs suffer from chronic ailments, and some are extremely energetic. I’m here for all of it. I am currently a college graduate (Mines) so I pick up pet care opportunities full time while I search for a more permanent career field. “Shanna was great! We were going out of town for a month so we really had to find somebody we felt good about. Just from the meet & greet, we knew she'd take great care of our dog and she did. He gets meds every day and can be picky with food and standoffish with other dogs and she handled all of it. He went on long walks every day, he got to go camping with their family and out to lunch with friends. Plus her house is perfect for dog sitting - great areas for the pups to look out over the woods and a very quiet street. Shanna sent photos every week of their fun activities and just hanging out around the house. We could tell from the photos that Kaz was having a great time. When we picked him up to come home, he ran back to give Shanna a hug goodbye. Shanna will be our go-to for this dog from now on.”
