“Bettina and James are such nice people who did a great job taking care of our energetic dog. Their dog Sam was a great play buddy. Jackson came home tired and happy. We highly recommend Bettina, James, and Sam!”

With ponds, walking trails, and daily outdoor activities, your dog will enjoy a true countryside adventure. I’m a lifelong animal lover with 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a mellow senior, I make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and right at home. I’m a stay at home mom and spend my time caring for my children, animals, and home. Your pup will easily fit in the mix! There is a secure, enclosed play area for off-leash time, and multiple kennels for cozy overnight stays. Your pup will also have the company of my friendly, dog-loving golden retriever who’s always ready to make a new friend.
“Caelin & Josh are both very kind, super communicative, and really attentive to my dog’s needs, and it gives me so much peace of mind. Theirs dogs are also the sweetest, and it’s clear they create such a good environment for all pets”

About: I am a former zookeeper with lots of experience with puppies and senior dog needs! I have created a separate space for dogs to feel cozy, safe, and have fun. I am home every day with my children with a very flexible family routine to center our day around guest dog’s needs. Guests will be given frequent outside breaks and ample attention. I offer a home-based boarding experience in a detached building especially made for dog guests. I will truly tailor your dog’s stay to their needs.
About: I have had animals most of my life so caring for them is easy. We also have 2 small dogs of our own and 2 small children to keep them entertained. I run my own company so my schedule is extremely flexible and my wife is a stay at home mom so someone is always here to supervise. We have a fenced in yard and 2 small dogs for your dogs to play with. We don't keep the animals outside for very long, especially in the winter time. Our dogs are fed twice a day but as many feedings can be done as needed.
“Richard was very welcoming and kept us up to date with Gracie with photos and videos during the visit. He made us feel comfortable and helped ease our anxiety with her first time using Rover. Highly recommended!!!”

“I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. Thank You so much Leah. 😊”

“We had a great experience! They sent lots of photos and kept us up to date throughout the day. Very welcoming and patient with our pups as they were very shy. Their dogs are very sweet and friendly! Definitely recommend!”

“Andrew was amazing! His vibes and personality is top notch. He was great at communicating, fast replies and amazing photo updates. Chica got to do some long distance walking with Andrew and she was a tired puppy when I picked her up. I love whenever someone treats a working dog as a working dog. I will definitely come back to Andrew again. Thank you so much!!”

About: I love animals and take care of them like they were my own babies! Your pet will be well loved and socialized during their stay here. We live on .25 acres and have a great big yard for pups to romp around in, I have two of my own loveable dogs they can play with, too! Both of my doggos regularly take medicine, so I'm well versed incase we need to administer supplements or meds during their stay! I work full time remotely from home, and am here during the day and weekend! My own doggos go outside often and go for walks daily, which is what you can expect for your furbabies! I make sure I have all the information and answers from you up front, everything I'd like my own pet sitter to know, I want to know. We can check in often and I'd be happy to send picture updates of your pet's happy stay!
“Jordan and Chris were amazing, highly recommend!! Our fur baby, Axel, can be very particular with his people, but he warmed up to Jordan straight away. They were willing to meet for an initial meet and greet, which really gave us a peace of mind. We received updates, along with pictures during his stay, needlessto say Axel was already snuggling with Jordan and invading her space like he does at home. Thank you so much for taking in Axel and treating him so well. We wished we lived closer!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
