About: As a long-time dog owner (I’ve co-owned 5 different dogs throughout my life), I’ve learned how to care for many different dogs with various temperaments and at all ages. Dogs are an ongoing source of joy in my life, and I love the chance to make new pup friends whenever I can! I am happy to customize my care to meet your pup’s needs and can drop-in to check on and walk your dog as well. I work from home and am happy to dog sit your dog for the day or drop by to check in on your dog as needed! I love going on long walks in the morning and evening and am available for shorter walks throughout the day, if needed. I have a fenced yard (4-6 feet), and a friendly a playful 3 year old dog who can keep your pup entertained throughout the day. Our open basement is blocked off with a baby gate, which can be used to give your pup a dedicated space to relax alone while remaining in earshot.
“Really appreciated John taking our last-minute booking to take care of my crazy Dalmatian. With high separation anxiety, I'm always uneasy about leaving Spice with someone she does not know. However, my husband dropped her off at John's house, and she was immediately engrossed with sniffing the backyard and didn't even know she had been left. John took her on a nice walk around the neighborhood, and she settled down immediately on the deck in the sunshine when they returned. No tantrums.
