About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs and cats, spending my life caring for them and making sure they feel loved and happy. Beyond my personal experience, I’ve also volunteered with rescue animal organizations, which has given me the chance to help animals in need and build even stronger skills in caring for them. I work from home, allowing me to provide a flexible schedule for your pets' potty breaks, frequent walks, and playtime. I live in a neighborhood with lots of walking trails and open spaces where I could take the dogs too (Only if the owner is comfortable with that) Your pets will receive double the care, attention, and love while they stay with us! Living in a house with a backyard , I have a spacious front and back yard where dogs can conveniently have their potty breaks. Moreover, my neighborhoods features a fantastic doggy park and trials providing an opportunity for your furry companions to enjoy the outdoors. Additionally, I am more than happy to take them on frequent walks around the neighborhood to ensure they get plenty of exercise and fresh air. It's worth mentioning that my husband shares the same love and affection for animals as I do. Together, we take pleasure in making new furry friends and providing them with a warm and welcoming environment.

About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.

They were willing to meet for an initial meet and greet, which really gave us a peace of mind. We received updates, along with pictures during his stay, needlessto say Axel was already snuggling with Jordan and invading her space like he does at home. However, my husband dropped her off at John's house, and she was immediately engrossed with sniffing the backyard and didn't even know she had been left. John took her on a nice walk around the neighborhood, and she settled down immediately on the deck in the sunshine when they returned. No tantrums.
