We loved the fenced in deck for taking naps and playing outside, and the trails behind her house for walks. Sassy was anxious when we first dropped her off but Lorraine was able to make her feel comfortable after just a short while. She kept us informed with texts and pictures throughout the day and when we saw Sassy having fun on the walks and relaxing on the deck we were confident we had found the right sitter.”
About: I have had pets my entire life, but as an adult only had dogs. I am a physical therapist by trade so I do have a health background. I have done insulin shots for a diabetic cat and ACL rehab for a dog. I have done bandages for small wounds from sharp rocks when hiking or a torn nail. Let me know your pups needs! I work for the schools district so only planning to do this in the summer right now! I may continue into next school year, but want to insure I have the time needed for your dog! I am married and the mom of 3 teen age girls who love dogs and want another one. They would love to cuddle, love and play with your dog while in my care! I will take your dog on daily walks with our dog pup and make sure they are happy! Our dog Tulsa loves other dogs and warms up quickly. She loves walks and hikes. She is not food aggressive at all but loves treats! Let me know what your pup needs. Tulsa is crated during our absence and I would prefer to do the same for your pup if we are out. When I am home, Tulsa gets free rein of the main floor and supervision in basement and upstairs for safety. She sleeps in my bedroom and night and I would do the same for your pup, or crate if that’s what you prefer. Tulsa is trained to ask to get on furniture but is sneaky sometimes. If your dog is allowed on furniture, we will allow that on our main sofa, but keep them off our front room sofa - it’s white. I can accommodate special diets and medication, but Tulsa does not have either of those.

About: I have had family dogs and cats for over 15 years, have had my own dog for 6 years and a pair of rats and hamsters, and have worked professionally in an animal shelter in Kansas where we provided care for dogs and cats of all ages (newborn to end of life) and special care for those with special needs as well as boarding for animals with owners needing a trusted provider to care for their animals while they’re unavailable. I often pet sit for family and friends and I am mostly always at home. I currently stay at home. I have my own dog, my corgi. As well as my 2-year old son, loves our dog and has done well with other dogs that have stayed with us. I have a walking trail behind my apartment so we frequently gear up and go on walks around the neighborhood, although we also enjoy days in — just depends on what we feel like doing that day. I have plenty of time to give scheduled medication or food or exercise or diaper changes if needed for pets. Apartment living so no yard but yes to two closed-off balconies that would be available for pets to use to look out and relax at while staying with us, also walking trail in the back and a fenced-in dog park in our apartment complex. When inside — which will be the case unless owner wants otherwise such as indoor/outdoor use of the balcony, pets are allowed in all areas of the house unless closed off to my own son but usually wherever my dog is allowed any pet is allowed, also allowed on beds and couches but not counters or tables (pet will be redirected no big deal). Water is available all day, I do not leave food out for my own dog but have an area your pet can stay at if needing a longer time to eat any meals given, if pet is a grazer that can be accommodated for as well. If a bath is needed due to accidents it will be given if pet is friendly and allows me to bathe them. I will also work with pets that aren’t spayed/neutered since my own dog is spayed but will ensure no female or male is being taken care of by me unless one is fixed or they’re all males/all females being taken care of that day. I will mostly be seeing small-medium sized dogs for pet sitting.

About: I have taken care of dogs and lots of other animals for as long as I can remember. I have grown up with large dogs my whole life. I have experience with Labs, German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. In addition, I have taken care of friends and family dogs of all shapes and sizes from puppies to elderly dogs. I participated in a 4-H club and learned dog training techniques and worked on those skills training my chocolate lab and my grandparents’ golden retriever. In high school, I completed 2 years of Veterinary Science classes. This entailed learning about medication administration, feeding, first aid, training, and grooming. my schedule is always open and will always have time for your fur babies. I only work 3 days a week at a dog bathing/grooming place I'm passionate about animals, especially dogs, and find immense joy in caring for them. I'm drawn to dog sitting because it allows me to combine my love for dogs with my strong sense of responsibility. “Really appreciated John taking our last-minute booking to take care of my crazy Dalmatian. With high separation anxiety, I'm always uneasy about leaving Spice with someone she does not know. However, my husband dropped her off at John's house, and she was immediately engrossed with sniffing the backyard and didn't even know she had been left. John took her on a nice walk around the neighborhood, and she settled down immediately on the deck in the sunshine when they returned. No tantrums.
