“Rita is amazing!! We were looking for more of a family experience for our Bella, instead of the usual kennel we use because our Standard poodle is very much a family pet and loves snuggles. She had a ball at Rita’s!! Rita sent at least one photo per day and asked about Bella’s feeding because she was not eating her food initially. She truly cares for all the dogs and was wonderful at making sure she took into account our dog’s social well being also. Our Bella can be overly energetic but Rita let us come over for a meet and greet to make sure it would be a good fit. We are already booking our next visit!”

About: Every since I was little I’ve been taking care of many different animals! I was often in and out of a clinic that a relative owned, so I adore being around all kinds of dog/cat breeds! I am a 19 year old part time hairstylist and work a set part time schedule (Monday, Thursday-Sunday 4-8:30pm), which allows me to tend to whatever your pets need! I have a passion for hair, but before I dreamed of this career, I always dreamed of being a vet! I have a never ending love for animals and am here to give them what they need at any time. About: Update: Hi all! I’m not currently taking boarding or doggy day care bookings because of the on going virus to ensure I keep my your pups as well as my own safe. I’m sorry for the inconvenience! My bookings are still OPEN for dog and cat check ins and walks. ☺️ - I have owned dogs all my life and have taken care of them for as long as I can remember! I have volunteered at local Humane Societies and have taken care of elderly dogs in my own home growing up. I can administer any medication needed. I have a deep love for animals and will do anything to assure that your kiddo has the best care possible! I am available most weekends and I am currently in Dental school - my schedule allows me to attend class virtually. I have class in the mornings on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays and I am done by 10am. My flexible schedule allows me to give your kiddo the one-on-one time that they need! **Please note that I do live on the Air Force Academy so please place board bookings accordingly! It is best if you can get on base at all hours; however, the base does allow visitors FOR FREE on base everyday from 5:30am to 10:00pm with a valid Driver's License. I do have a fur baby of my own - Walter, a 3 year old Siberian Husky mix. He is very friendly and playful and loves all dogs no matter what shape or size. He has zero food aggression or territorial issues. He is willing to share any and all toys and treats with his new friends! Walter is up to date on vaccines and is on tick, flea, heartworm, and parasite prevention. I live in a spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house that has plenty of room to separate dogs for meal or sleep arrangements. My house is one story - I am able to accomodate dogs with mobility issues. I have 2 XL dog crates that were used for Walter before he was house broken - if your dog needs one to sleep or lounge in, we've got you covered! I am a 3 minute walk from a large fenced in dog park as well. I also am 100% willing to walk your kiddo as little or as much as needed - there are many walking routes close by the house that range in length.

About: I have had pets my entire life, but as an adult only had dogs. I am a physical therapist by trade so I do have a health background. I have done insulin shots for a diabetic cat and ACL rehab for a dog. I have done bandages for small wounds from sharp rocks when hiking or a torn nail. Let me know your pups needs! I work for the schools district so only planning to do this in the summer right now! I may continue into next school year, but want to insure I have the time needed for your dog! I am married and the mom of 3 teen age girls who love dogs and want another one. They would love to cuddle, love and play with your dog while in my care! I will take your dog on daily walks with our dog pup and make sure they are happy! Our dog Tulsa loves other dogs and warms up quickly. She loves walks and hikes. She is not food aggressive at all but loves treats! Let me know what your pup needs. Tulsa is crated during our absence and I would prefer to do the same for your pup if we are out. When I am home, Tulsa gets free rein of the main floor and supervision in basement and upstairs for safety. She sleeps in my bedroom and night and I would do the same for your pup, or crate if that’s what you prefer. Tulsa is trained to ask to get on furniture but is sneaky sometimes. If your dog is allowed on furniture, we will allow that on our main sofa, but keep them off our front room sofa - it’s white. I can accommodate special diets and medication, but Tulsa does not have either of those.

About: I have had family dogs and cats for over 15 years, have had my own dog for 6 years and a pair of rats and hamsters, and have worked professionally in an animal shelter in Kansas where we provided care for dogs and cats of all ages (newborn to end of life) and special care for those with special needs as well as boarding for animals with owners needing a trusted provider to care for their animals while they’re unavailable. I often pet sit for family and friends and I am mostly always at home. I currently stay at home. I have my own dog, my corgi. As well as my 2-year old son, loves our dog and has done well with other dogs that have stayed with us. I have a walking trail behind my apartment so we frequently gear up and go on walks around the neighborhood, although we also enjoy days in — just depends on what we feel like doing that day. I have plenty of time to give scheduled medication or food or exercise or diaper changes if needed for pets. Apartment living so no yard but yes to two closed-off balconies that would be available for pets to use to look out and relax at while staying with us, also walking trail in the back and a fenced-in dog park in our apartment complex. When inside — which will be the case unless owner wants otherwise such as indoor/outdoor use of the balcony, pets are allowed in all areas of the house unless closed off to my own son but usually wherever my dog is allowed any pet is allowed, also allowed on beds and couches but not counters or tables (pet will be redirected no big deal). Water is available all day, I do not leave food out for my own dog but have an area your pet can stay at if needing a longer time to eat any meals given, if pet is a grazer that can be accommodated for as well. If a bath is needed due to accidents it will be given if pet is friendly and allows me to bathe them. I will also work with pets that aren’t spayed/neutered since my own dog is spayed but will ensure no female or male is being taken care of by me unless one is fixed or they’re all males/all females being taken care of that day. I will mostly be seeing small-medium sized dogs for pet sitting.

About: I have taken care of dogs and lots of other animals for as long as I can remember. I have grown up with large dogs my whole life. I have experience with Labs, German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. In addition, I have taken care of friends and family dogs of all shapes and sizes from puppies to elderly dogs. “Rita is amazing!! We were looking for more of a family experience for our Bella, instead of the usual kennel we use because our Standard poodle is very much a family pet and loves snuggles. She had a ball at Rita’s!! Rita sent at least one photo per day and asked about Bella’s feeding because she was not eating her food initially. She truly cares for all the dogs and was wonderful at making sure she took into account our dog’s social well being also. Our Bella can be overly energetic but Rita let us come over for a meet and greet to make sure it would be a good fit. We are already booking our next visit!”

“Kara was great with Toby. He can be a bit "extra" when he is in a new space (though he does settle down) and she handled him well. Kara took him for walks and sent us updates with a photo twice a day. It was a nice surprise to hear my phone "ping" and there was a picture of Toby sitting attentively. She even asked about Toby's routines to help keep him on his normal schedule. I would definitely recommend Kara; she is caring and attentive.”
