About: this is the first time in my life where I’ve owned a kitty but all my aunts and uncles and extended family like that has had cats, and I’ve always been obsessed with them. “I was a little nervous about leaving Ingrid since she’s so “needy” and has never been with anyone besides the groomer and that’s only for a couple of hours. But as soon as I met Leah I was instantly at ease. I could tell she loves the fur babies she takes care of. And as I suspected, she and her husband did a lot of holding Ingrid. I wasn’t concerned about Max - he loves everybody and gets along fine with other dogs. I was impressed with Leah’s documentation of the pees/poops/water breaks and food and taking pictures. That takes a lot of “watching”. We live in Texas and were in Castlerock for our son’s wedding. I’m sure we will be visiting again, and if we need a dog sitter, Leah will be the first one we call. I personally own a 5 year old English Bulldog, a 13 year old cat and my 12 year old leopard gecko has passed. I love animal-loving people, animals and helping them! I have full availability at the moment as I look for other employment. I would love to give some of my attention to a pet in need of sitting or daily walks! My dog stays in a crate while I'm away from home and at night. He likes to snuggle every morning. We go to the dog park at least twice a week. My cat always has food, fresh water, and a cleaned daily litter box. My lizard had a clean cage and was fed 1 to every 3 days with meal worms or a super worm as a treat.

My availability: Open Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays; Thursdays after 12 PM. (I work 12-hour shifts Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, so I'm unavailable those days unless you need late night or early morning care) I have my own pride and joy, Stubby Chubby, who keeps me company on my days off, but he prefers to be the only dog, so I don't offer in-home services. I work 12-hour shifts 3x a week at Pepper's Senior Dog Sanctuary, but I'm blessed with a 3-day weekend and a short Thursday shift—leaving me open Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursday afternoons to care for your pup with the same dedication I give my seniors. At Pepper's, I administer medications to 20+ dogs every week, pills, eye drops, insulin shots, you name it. I'm no stranger to meds. The pups there receive around the clock care, meals, and love, and I work alongside a vet team daily with training in emergencies, first aid, CPR, and behavioral challenges. At home, my own medically compromised pup, Stubby Chubby, keeps me on my toes too so the care doesn't stop when I clock out. What I do is hard work, but I love every minute of it and wouldn't ask to be doing anything else.
