I also like to know their energy level, favorite activities, and whether they have any quirks—like being nervous around new people, preferring a certain sleeping spot, or needing extra reassurance during storms. If your pup has any separation anxiety, reactivity, or specific behaviors I should be aware of, please share so I can provide the best care possible. My goal is to make their stay as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, and the more I know, the better I can tailor their experience to feel just like home.
A typical day
I tailor activities to each dog’s personality, energy level, and preferences to ensure they have a fun and comfortable stay. For active pups, we’ll enjoy plenty of backyard playtime, fetching toys, and enrichment activities like treat puzzles. For dogs who love to relax, they can sunbathe on the deck, cuddle up on the couch, or lounge in their favorite spot. Since I work from home, I’m always available for belly rubs, play breaks, and quality time throughout the day. No matter their style, every dog gets plenty of love, attention, and fun during their stay.

With a focus on individualized care, I provide a home-away-from-home experience where your pup gets all the love and attention they deserve. I only accept one family’s dogs at a time, ensuring a calm and stress-free environment tailored to their needs. I lost my 13-year-old husky/chow chow mix in 2024, and he taught me so much about senior dog care—from administering medications to coaxing picky eaters and ensuring frequent potty breaks. My home is designed for your dog’s comfort. I work from home, allowing for frequent potty breaks every 1–2 hours, and on nice days, they’ll have easy access to the fenced-in backyard and patio through a magnetic screen door. Many dogs love sunbathing out on the deck! With years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from tiny pups to large breeds over 100 pounds, I adore the energy, spirit, and unique personality of every dog I meet. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and my bed, so they can sleep and relax wherever they feel most comfortable. I will send morning and nightly updates at a minimum and lots of photos in between, so you can rest easy knowing how your pup is doing in my care. Additionally, I have my own individual insurance coverage for any incidents that might occur, giving you extra peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!
