Fun + Loving Family Home Full Time!
We’re Dawn and David and we have been dog owners our entire life. As the perfect pet sitting team, home full time, we can provide specialized and loving care all day long. We enjoy the companionship and joy that dogs bring into our lives and have been pet sitting out of our home for the past 15 years. In addition to us, our two sons love to have pets in our house and always pitch in when pups visit us. With our experience, open schedule, and love of dogs, we hope to be your new, go-to pet sitters! We both have over 25 years of experience with dogs, both personally and professionally, and are certified pet trainers at PetSmart. We also own a small dog grooming facility and have a grooming facility in our home. Currently, we have two dogs of our own. Tank is a 4 year old Pug Boxer mix and Zuni is a 8 year old German Shepherd mix. We got both of our pups at a rescue shelter and love them so much! They are fun and silly and love sharing their toys, space, and treats with our doggy visitors. As pet sitters, we meet the individual needs of each pet that stays with us, providing a safe and secure yard and home for the pets to play in! We also walk dogs daily and play with them at our local park. We will work with dogs who need a little extra attention or care and by being home full time, can easily give older dogs, anxious dogs, and everyone in between the care they need! As dog owners, we also know how hard it is to be away from our furry friends so we’ll be providing daily updates of your pet’s stay. Photos and texts indicating what we’ve been doing during the stay are We live in a beautiful home in Columbine West. We’ve lived here for over 25 years and love our pet-friendly community. There are always pups to meet on our walks! We love how close our home is to the neighborhood park, but it also helps that we have a very large and secure backyard full of shade and sunshine for your pup to enjoy! Your dog will love having the room to roam with our dogs and play with our children. We have a spot for every dog and can’t wait to meet yours! When we’re not pet sitting, our hobbies include taking our dogs hiking and camping. We also love to go skiing as a family and love a good movie night, snuggled up on the couch with our pets.

David & Dawn were wonderful and very experienced. We haven’t left our dog hardly at all and they made it very easy and we’re also very communicative throughout his stay. Will definitely use them again in the future! Thank you for taking care of our fur baby!
We hardly ever leave our dogs. We traveled across country in an RV to attend a graduation and could not have them with us at the event. After locating Dave and Dawn and speaking with them, I felt very comfortable choosing them. Upon arrival they were so welcoming and knowledgeable with various dog breeds and behavior. At drop off our dogs were off playing and didn’t even know we were leaving. I would 💯 recommend this couple.
I always know she is happy and safe with David and Dawn! That means so much!

A typical day
As an active family, home full time, your dog will be included in everything we do. We’ll go on walks everyday as well as trips to the local park for some fresh sniffs. Our home is perfect for dogs - both indoor and out. We have places for pups to nap, play, and sunbathe. Your dog will also be in good company with our two pups - who love to share their space and toys!
