About: I have been in the pet care business for 6 years and look forward to keeping your baby safe and happy in your home while you are away. I love animals. I currently have a border collie, her name is Bailey. My reason for house sitting is to provide families with a sense of knowing that their animal will be loved and cared for while they are away from home in their own familiar environment. I spend most of my time outside working in the yard and playing with my dog. I will provide feeding, walking, bathing, medicine administration, playing and plenty of love to your pet in the comfort of their your home. Quality care will never be an issue. I look forward to making friends with your beloved pet. This is a new endeavor for me as my previous Rover care was in my home in North Glenn. I enjoyed that so much. I wanted to continue with caring for dogs in this way. I am currently located in Lakewood Green Mountain area and look forward to meeting you and your pet. Please be sure to check out my reviews and also photos from my prior pet sitting. Bailey loves to play frisbee and we spend several hours a day playing in my back yard. My back yard is the perfect place for pets. It is super shady and large enough for running and playing. I have several parks near by and a back yard that will provide plenty of exercise. I love to cuddle fur babies that like to be cuddled. We spend a large part of our day outside playing and throwing frisbees and balls.
“Casey was great! She is calm and responsible and we felt comfortable leaving our house and dogs in her capable hands. We have one dog that is more reactive and it sounds like she did great with him so that was a win. We also got photo updates along the way which I loved. Would hire Casey again!”

“Sondra was FANTASTIC! I have -2- large dogs with some anxiety, and she kept in touch everyday with photos and a brief schedule of what they had done. My house was not trashed, my dogs were happy, and I am thrilled with Sondra's work. Next time we go out of town, we will ask Sondra to dog sit again!”

“Rachel was great. Was my first Rover experience and I felt like I was in great hands. Lots of communication and feedback. Left the house in great condition. Very friendly! Moby seemed to love her on the meet and greet. Will gladly use her services again.”

“Jane was beyond great! She shared photos of our pups while she watched them at our home. The house was left spotless, and she even washed the sheets! I'll definitely book again.”

“Sara was FANTASTIC and we could not recommend enough. We left for 10 days to Hawaii, she took great care of our German Shepherd Levi, sent us consistent updates, and took amazing care of our home. He looked so happy in every picture we received. This was the longest we’ve ever been away from our dog and she made the process so seamless and not stressful at all.”

“Cheryl was absolutely wonderful. She took amazing care of Elsa. They went on lots of walks, had cuddles, and we came home to a happy, happy girl. We will absolutely use her again!”

“Morgan was a great sitter! She gave regular updates, took great care of the house, and both dogs seemed very comfortable and happy with her. She also was responsive and understanding when one of the dogs had an upset stomach. Overall was very happy with Morgan!”

“Austin is the best dog sitter and house sitter I’ve ever had! I have five very large, very enthusiastic dogs and they fell in love with him from the moment he first came to meet them. Due to personal circumstances, I was hesitant to leave my pack, but Austin’s calm demeanor and immediate connection with the pups set me at ease right away. He is extremely kind, considerate, responsible and always goes a step (or three) beyond. He sent daily snuggling and playing photos and updates, he brushed everyone and he took them swimming every day. One of my pups had a broken nail that he diagnosed and treated every day. He also watered the plants, got the mail and kept the house immaculate. I cannot recommend Austin more highly to everyone! I will definitely be using him every time I go out of town.”

“Vincent did a great job watching my dog at my house this weekend . He left the place just like I left it and gave me lots of updates and pictures of my dog throughout the weekend. Easy to communicate and would definitely hire him again to stay at my place !”

“Alex was great. He came and met our pups ahead of the sitting and was so calm and easy with them. Our old guy sometimes is startled, but no issues at all with Alex. Our young girl barked but he took it in stride and made friends first meeting. We got lots of updates and photos along the way and we were sooo reassured. He lives near us so that made it easy peasy. I would be delighted to have Alex come stay with our brood again sometime.”

“My husband and I always feel anxious to leave our dog in others care, however Mitch eased our worries from the start and allowed us to have a worry free time away! Georgia warmed up to him immediately and that does not happen often. He sent photo updates each day and seamlessly dropped her off at her boarding place for the last two days. Also he left the place so spotless it didn’t even look like he was here! Very nice to come back to a clean home. We hope to use Mitch again in the future!”
“William was amazing with all our animals, two of which are high energy GSP's. Even our wiener dog that takes forever to warm up to people, was barking at him to get more pets and attention even with us back! He was extremely respectful of our home and it was actually cleaner than when we left. We would highly recommend William and will definitely be using him again!!”

“Caleb was excellent! He communicated very well about things that needed to be addressed with our dog and around the house. He also came up with new ways to get our dog to behave on walks!”

“Sarah was a perfect fit for our pet and house-sitting needs. We recently moved to Colorado and travel frequently for work, so finding someone we could trust with our kitty, Shimmy, was incredibly important. We were away on a two-week international trip, and Sarah took wonderful care of both our home and our cat. She was communicative, responsive, and kept us updated throughout our travels. During our time away, she encountered a couple of unexpected issues and handled both professionally and calmly, which gave us great peace of mind. When we returned home, the house was in perfect condition, and Shimmy was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy pet and house sitter.”

“Mary Sue deserves more than 5 stars. She went above and beyond for our 3 hounds! We will definitely be rebooking for our future needs! She kept us updated multiple times throughout each day and gave us picture updates to ensure our dogs were in great hands! Our place was clean when she left and our dogs were beyond happy which is everything we wanted after coming back home from a long trip! Would definitely recommend Mary Sue and he will use her again in the future!”

“Megan watched our pup on very short notice following a family emergency and it is such a relief to have found such a trustworthy sitter that allowed us to take one thing off our plate. In addition to being great with our pup, she always leaves our house spotless!”

“Sara was so caring and diligent when she stayed with our dogs. One of my dogs had a medical emergency shortly after we left town and she handled it exactly the way pet lover would want - communicating with me at every step and setting other things aside to provide him with extra care.”

I cannot speak highly enough of Katy! Perfect and prompt communication, picture updates while we were away, and I know our dog and home were both perfectly cared for!! She also left us the best sketch of our dog that is beyond impressive! Will definitely book again and recommend to everyone!

Alex was wonderful! This is the second time he's watched my dog and cat, and it went just as smoothly as the first. He's great at keeping me updated (which I love!), and I appreciate how respectful he is while staying at my apartment. Couldn't be happier with the care that Henry and Cleo received!

We had Jessica watch our dogs when we were gone for two weeks traveling in the UK. She did a great job and we didn’t worry about the dogs because she kept us updated on everything that was happening. The dogs were tired and well loved when we got home. Highly recommend using Jessica for any dog services.

Madison saved my birthday trip when my previous sitter cancelled at the last minute!!! She was an absolute gem and I immediately trusted her to take the best care of my boys. One of them needed medications in the morning and evening as well as subcutaneous fluid therapy a couple times during the stay. Madison handled all of that super well! And when my baby was having issues Madison let me know right away and took superb care of him while I got on the way back home. I'm forever grateful to Madison and cannot thank her enough for all that she did for my babies <3. Also she took the CUTEST pictures I've ever gotten from a sitter before. Thank you, Madison!

This was our first time using Rover for our two high-energy golden retrievers so we were nervous, however Jessica exceeded our expectations. She was very communicative and provided frequent updates & pictures. Also, the house was spotless when we returned. We will definitely be using Jessica again for future trips!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Morrison walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Morrison maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Morrison choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
