Farm-Raised Animal Lover
I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to rabbits, goats, and horses. Understanding animal behavior and needs comes naturally to me. I love all animals and treat them with great care and respect. Over the years, I’ve raised puppies and kittens, cared for high-energy breeds like huskies and Australian Shepherds, and learned how to read each animal’s personality, whether they’re playful, shy, or need a little extra patience. Now I live in the suburbs and have two sweet kitty cats. I still carry that same hands-on experience and love for animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. P.S. I really try to meet each pet where they are. Some pets want lots of play and attention, while others just want a calm presence and I’m comfortable with both. In your home, I stick closely to your routine so your pet feels secure and everything stays familiar. I also make sure they get plenty of care, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is doing well while you’re away.

I cannot speak highly enough of Katy! Perfect and prompt communication, picture updates while we were away, and I know our dog and home were both perfectly cared for!! She also left us the best sketch of our dog that is beyond impressive! Will definitely book again and recommend to everyone!
Katie (Kathryn) is wonderful! She has such a calm energy about her and we are so glad she is close by for drop ins and walks and house sitting if needed. Katy is so amazing! I have a very unique dog that requires very special care and needs his routines followed to a T. Katy had no issues with him and said she really loved caring for him. That speaks volumes to me about her very professional and present dog sitting capabilities. I will use her for all of my future dog sitting because I trust her and can focus on why I’m traveling and not worry about my fur baby! My home was very clean and Yuuki was very healthy and happy upon my return! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 Lastly - the portrait she left of Yuuki was beautiful 💛

Katy was so great with Keira and Charlie! They are both pretty high energy pups and she was able to take them on walks and get their energy out while staying with them! Charlie requires medication as well and Katy did an amazing job of ensuring she was given her medication at a timely manner. We can’t suggest Katy enough! We will definitely be using her again!!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my schedule since I work from home as a freelancer. I have a flexible routine that allows me to give pets consistent attention, timely walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m able to adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s needs and keep their routine as normal as possible.
