About: I've loved and cared for dogs ever since I was a kid--including pups with special needs (e.g. blindness, diabetes, early onset cancer.) Aside from care for family friends' dogs, I spent a year working at a boutique doggy daycare in Philadelphia offering full day care, walks, and overnights. I'm more than comfortable caring for dogs with special needs, such as medication or daily shots. And more than anything, I'm down to learn and excited to take on a new challenge! Currently, my schedule is very flexible--i.e. I have so much time for dogs! I'm saving to finally buy my own dog next month, so I'm aiming to spend as much time with puppies as I can to properly spoil mine! I have taken care of pups in clients' homes for years now--from friends to strangers as part of my job. As a lifelong Girl Scout, I know to leave a place better than I found it, and that's my goal every time I do a walk or overnight.

“When I say that Natalie is the best sitter we’ve ever had, I am not being hyperbolic. We came home to a house cleaner than we’d left it (she washed and folded the sheets ?), with everything where it was supposed to be (kitchen was spotless and the trash and recycling were taken out), and two tired and happy dogs. Natalie is responsible, caring, intuitive, and knows what it takes to ease your anxiety if you have to leave your pets and your home. It’s never easy to trust a stranger with your furry family members and your home, but Natalie had our minds completely at ease while we were gone for 3.5 days. We can only cross our fingers that she’d be willing to watch our crazy, toddler-ish, monster dogs again in the future!!! “We needed a pet sitter while we were in Canada. I felt instantly comfortable with Tenja upon meeting her. We have two dogs and a cat, one being a very old senior dog who needs lots of TLC and we were worried about leaving him for that long. I felt 100% better with Tenja caring for him. She was extremely communicative with us about anything she was unsure of, and just keeping us posted on how things were going in general. She sent us lots of photos too.
