About: I've been a devoted dog lover since childhood when my mom would take in strays and rescues from the streets. I helped groom, train, love, and care for these sweet souls. Today, I work as a part-time substitute school teacher but find that I need more four footed companionship and outside time in my life, so I'd love to be your go to dog walker on my days off. I've always helped my friends and neighbors with their dogs (walking or pet sitting), and I'm good big dogs and little dogs. With 20+ years of teaching experience, you know that I have oodles of patience and consistency to rely on, and lots of caring and affection to give. Please let me help you give your pets the care and attention that they need when you're at work or on vacation! I'm working part time as a substitute teacher--this means that I generally work 3 days a week, and am often home by 3:30. I have afternoons available for longer walks and play-time. I am not able to board dogs in my own home, but in your home I can make sure that your dog or cat has the kind of love and care that they are used to whether they are an inside dog or outside. About: I’ve cat sat before and I’m very comfortable with cats of all personalities. I know some are social and playful, and others prefer their space, and I’m good at reading that and adjusting. I’m patient, calm, and not overwhelming, which tends to work really well with cats. I’m happy to play if they want attention, or just keep things quiet and consistent if that’s what they prefer. I also make sure litter boxes are clean, feeding is on schedule, and everything stays as close to their normal routine as possible.

About: I grew up with big dogs all my life (mastiffs specifically), which sparked my love for animals. About: With a lifetime of animal love and care, I was most recently a doggie foster parent. This gave me experience with both behavioral and medical care, and raised my personal bar for doggie care. I truly enjoy the company of animals, and working predominantly from home, my partner and I are able to take breaks for walks and drop ins as needed! We have two SWEET dogs at home - who haven't met a dog they didn't love- that could join in the walk, or we could go solo with your pups! I work for myself and mostly from home so I am very flexible with my schedule and my ability to spend a lot of quality time with you dog. Also, I have about 10 fenced in acres up in the mountains that is a great place to bring you pup for some off leash playtime if that’s something you’re interested in I have a lot of space in my home and also over 10 fenced in acres to explore (with supervision, of course). Outdoor play/ walk time at my house can be on or off lease depending on what you are most comfortable with

About: I grew up with big dogs all my life (mastiffs specifically), which sparked my love for animals. From about May 2021 to August 2022 I fostered rescue animals, and in that time, I was able to help ~50 different animals. How did I do that exactly? Well, my house was a small shelter, as some people liked to call it, we had an open-door policy for any animal in need. With that being said, I have had experience with big dogs, small dogs, energetic dogs, reactive dogs, scared dogs, tripods, entire herds of puppies and kittens etc. There really was not a dog I couldn't handle, and I loved them all. Now I foster for a big dog rescue so my specialty is the XL doggies. I have a Great Dane foster fail of my own now. During hot weather, I’m cautious about pavement temperatures, testing surfaces with my hand and avoiding asphalt to keep your pup comfortable and safe. Cats: For cats, safety is my top priority. If your feline friend is an escape artist, I’ll be extra vigilant to prevent any breakouts. If your cat tends to nibble on things they shouldn’t, I’ll make sure their environment is safe and free of hazards. I have experience caring for cats of all ages and needs, including administering medication when necessary. I also strive to create a calm, stress-free environment by maintaining their routine and respecting their unique preferences. Safety, Trust & Environment: I always ensure your pet’s environment is clean, comfortable, and free of hazards. I can do dog sitting for dogs of all ages and needs. For boarding, all I ask is that your dog is friendly so that they get along with mine. If you are looking for your dog to have social activity with a well behaved, healthy dog Thea would be more than happy to join a walk or play date. I have a fenced yard and my own dog is extremely friendly with other animals including small dogs. Inside of my home I do not leave things laying around that could potentially harm my own dog or others. About: I grew up in a home with two dogs and a cat, so taking care of animals has always been a normal and important part of my life. From a young age, I was responsible for things like feeding them, making sure they had fresh water, taking them outside, cleaning up after them, playing with them, and giving them the attention they needed. Growing up with animals taught me that pets really are part of the family and that taking care of them takes consistency, patience, and a lot of love. As I’ve gotten older, animals have continued to be a big part of my life. I currently have my own dog and have had the opportunity to care for dogs through different stages of their lives. I’ve also lived with roommates who had pets and have always been happy to take care of their animals when they were traveling. I’m comfortable keeping up with their normal routines, feeding them, taking them outside, giving them plenty of attention, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Caring for older dogs is especially meaningful to me. I had the experience of caring for my childhood dogs as they got older, and being there for them during the later stages of their lives taught me a lot about patience and compassion. I learned that senior dogs can sometimes need a little extra attention and understanding as their routines and abilities change. My current dog is now getting into his middle-age years, so I’m continuing to learn how to recognize and adjust to his changing needs as well. Overall, caring for animals has been a lifelong part of my experience, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks, and I think it’s important to get to know each animal individually. I would treat every pet in my care with the same patience, attention, and love that I would want someone to give my own dog. I currently work part time and am a full time student. For work, I am on full days M-W 8:30AM to 5:30PM. Thursdays I work half days 8:30AM to 1PM. F-Sun I'm home full time and so is my fiancé. Once of us is always home to take care of our fur baby throughout the week and if for some reason we are not, we have 'grandparents' that are able to watch him. My schooling is self guided and completely online! From M-W I would not be able to stay overnight, however, if your fur baby needed an evening walk, I'd be happy to come over and make sure they get their evening exercise. Thurs-Sun I'm available to stay overnight as all would need is Wi-Fi to ensure I can do my schooling! I care for every pet with the goal of making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Before caring for a new pet, I like to speak with the owner and, whenever possible, meet both the owner and their pet beforehand. This gives me the opportunity to learn about their personality, daily routine, feeding and exercise schedule, behaviors, and any special instructions. It also gives the pet a chance to become familiar with me before I’m caring for them, which I believe helps them feel much more comfortable having someone new in their space. If I were to take your pet to a park or other outing with my own dog, I would also ask that the dogs meet beforehand. Ideally, I prefer their first meeting to happen in a neutral, comfortable environment where they can get familiar with each other without feeling territorial or overwhelmed. This gives me the opportunity to see how they interact and allows both dogs to develop a level of comfort with one another before spending extended time together. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and focus on maintaining the pet’s usual routine. This includes feeding and providing fresh water, walks and exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, medication or other care when needed, and plenty of attention and companionship. I also make sure to keep their environment clean and tidy, including cleaning up after them. When caring for pets in my own home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment where they can relax and feel at home. I’m attentive to how they interact with my own dog and make sure each pet has the space and supervision they need. I’m especially mindful of older pets or animals that may need a little extra patience, rest, or assistance.

About: With a lifetime of animal love and care, I was most recently a doggie foster parent. This gave me experience with both behavioral and medical care, and raised my personal bar for doggie care.
