“Sarah was amazing with my pup and went out of her way to meet him in person prior to booking. She sent multiple photos of him every day, was quick to respond to my messages and great at handling him! This was my first time using Rover and I will definitely be using again!”

“We love Samantha! All the dogs were tired out and happy, she followed instruction and made sure everyone was safe and separated when she left. The dogs love her and Sage got a special fun, will book with her again!”

“Nancy is great. Extremy professional. Excellent communication and service. Nancy clearly takes her care for your pet very seriously. We look forward to working with her in the future.”

About: I enjoy dogs more than people. When I used to live on Guam, there was a period i was watching 4 dogs, 2 of which were mine. One happened to be a pit bull, and another happened to be rottweiler. The other 2 were medium sized. Now, that I am no longer in Guam I have 3 dogs that me and my wife take care of. I have my 2 from Guam. I havent been around all types of dogs, but I really enjoy them all. I find their different personalities and their energy levels interesting. I enjoy walking my dogs, so I think it would be fun to walk other peoples dogs. When I’m not working and time permits, i like taking my pups hiking in the mountains with me. Thank you for checking out my profile ! I walk my three girls at least five days a week. And when I have a day off, i love taking them into the mountains. Each dog is different. Different pup parents have different plans for their babies, so their rules come first. But if permitted, i would love to share the same trails I explore with our four legged partners.
“Cherontae is wonderful with the pups! She has picked up last minute bookings when I was in a pinch and saved the day. She is so great and sends pics of the doggos happy faces. Thanks so much Cherontae!”

About: About 13 years ago I became a volunteer at a few pet rescues in Kansas. Then started fostering and of course I failed at that and adopted a sweet sweet senior dog with a spunky personality, then I just had to get him a little sister! And then they both needed a cat brother! I love them all to pieces and they got to be my dummies while I studied canine massage in 2020 when I couldn't work on people for several months. I am excited to help you with your pet needs and earn some extra cash to help my senior boy get the dental help he needs. I look forward to meeting your sweet babies! I am new to the city and don't have a full schedule yet which gives me the freedom to fill my time as I please! With fur babies! I just need to be able to plan for the next day. I can let out and play with your pets fairly often and between clients. I can also be flexible and stay in your home if you wish even though that's not my default settings here. I have some experience with positive reinforcement training from a professional I used with my own pets.
About: Dogs have been in my life for as long as I can remember. I love being active and having my dogs out in nature, but I also enjoy kicking back and chilling with them at home as well! I work part time so I have plenty of time for your kiddos! I work weekends so I have more time during the week, my shifts generally vary, but tend to be later in the evenings so I can come by in the mornings before 12pm. I have a fully fenced yard with lots of room to run! I have 2 very friendly pups that always love new friends to have chase them! I love giving treats (within moderation), running out all the energy at the park, or walks, or just playing ball in the yard.
“Jessica is so kind and flexible! She accepted a same day booking for a walk and communicated well about making adjustments for the weather. We will definitely be repeat clients!”

About: I have taken care of pet since I was young working for families in my neighborhood. I’ve been a dog owner my entire life and worked with many different breeds. I’m currently a college student where I attend classes three days a week. Outside of my classes my schedule is very flexible. I’m free Fridays through Mondays. I can provide services such as dog walking, drop in visits, stay and play, and most other services that you could need. I’m here for your pet!
“Kimberly was outstanding I had an emergency and she was so sweet to accommodate a better time to help with a walk. Raven and prada loved their walk with their new bestie. She’s punctual and responsive I enjoyed her time with my dogs and care that she gave on the walk”

“Dixie agreed to a last minute booking to walk Winston for a few days. He can be a bit nervous around new people, but he warmed up right away. Dixie was reliable and asked questions to make sure she was prepared for any quirks Winston might have on walks I was so relieved to know he was taken care of while I was away from home. I would highly recommend Dixie!”

“Stephanie does a wonderful job! She treats our boy like her own and takes great care of him. Would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone. Whether it’s a walk or playing with our dog in the backyard, our Theo looks like he is having a ball with Stephanie.”
About: We are an energetic dog loving household with lots of room for your dog to play. I live across the street from a trail and take my dogs on walks every day. I have several years of dog training experience, specializing in puppy mill rescue cases. I have experience working with all different types of temperaments. We also have several places set up in the house set up for dogs to have their own personal space and can provide a constant rotation for dogs that prefer to be alone. At our house your dog will have 3 very helpful kiddos and 2 friendly and energetic frenchies to keep them entertained. Home full time aside from the occasional appointment or outings. Because we have small kids we usually are never gone for more than 2 hours. I do try to maintain structured hours to balance the dogs and kids so I usually respond to messages for new bookings between 8am and 5pm. I will always try to respond promptly after 5 because I know the need to have a sitter secured, I just can’t guarantee a same evening response. We are usually busy with dinner, feeding dogs and doing their evening walks, doggy play time and then getting everyone ready for bed after that. This allows me to focus on giving my attention to all the little beings that need it (including the pups we are taking care of) I also am unable to book last minute requests as I schedule my days around bookings. I do need at least 24 hours notice to ensure I do not spread myself too thin. This again ensures I am able to give any dog I have in my home the proper attention. Large fenced yard and two very friendly puppies to keep your dog company. There is a set up in the office, kitchen and laundry room to allow all pups to have pace if needed. As a general rule I will feed all dogs from different household in different rooms to allow for peaceful and stress free meals.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Security-Widefield
Emily was amazing with Charlie! He’s pretty shy at first. After just one visit Charlie was already so excited to see her and ready to be walked. Emily is super kind and gentle about everything. I am thankful for the last-minute trip to check on him before the walks even started and the meet and greet before booking. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it and recommend Emily <3

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
