About: I have experience sitting for dogs from 180lbs to 8lbs. I also have experience caring for multiple dogs in a home or just one dog and am keenly aware of group dynamics. I pride myself on my understanding of dog behavior and body language, and I volunteer at my local rescue so I have been exposed to many different personality types and behaviors. I am comfortable walking rowdy, energetic dogs to dogs with great manners on the lead and dogs of any size (I own a horse, a large puller is no problem!). The top two things that I prioritize are your pup’s safety and ensuring that they have their needs met every single day. I also work from home and am able to keep your dogs routine as normal as possible to reduce any stress. My goal is always to make them feel like they are on their own stay-cation! I truly have your dog’s best interest in mind at all times, and I want to give them the best care that I possibly can. You can always ensure that your dog will be cared for and get the exercise that they need even on days with not-so-pleasant Indiana weather. I currently work from home full time, so I am able to change my schedule around as needed and work around your pets needs completely! Safety is always my number one priority in everything that I do. I pride myself on my ability to make sound decisions, and I will never do anything careless or that could put your pup in danger. I consider myself to be an extremely risk averse person, and always have safety at the front of my mind.

About: I love all animals on God's earth. I will provide healthy, secure, and loving pet care. Several years ago, I volunteered to help as a kennel assistant at the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR). As a kennel assistant volunteer, I helped feed the dogs, clean the dog kennels, dishes, animal crates, and animal cages once a week on Sundays for over a year. I participated in a safe dog handling class at HSPPR, and have experience safely handling dogs. Please trust me to care for your pet safely. I will dedicate daily and weekly time to caring for your pet. Pet care fits into my daily and weekly schedule as my career. I will ensure the safety, care, and security of your pet in my home or my care. I have a room downstairs in my home designated for boarding your pet. I have a 54.6"L x 36.8"W x 45"H pet crate that is assembled for comfortably boarding your pet. This crate is designed to accommodate XX-Large dogs that are up to 50" long and 40" tall. Your pet will be safe, warm, and secure in my home or my care. I will provide a free pet bath for your dog when your pet is boarded in my home.

Alan was phenomenal, couldn't recommend him enough. He was patient with Deszi when she was hesitant to get to know him & ultimately won her over. Alan was super reliable while I was out of town and very communicative with his notes about the walk. He was great about coordinating and flexible with scheduling. Could not recommend him enough!

About: Not much that sets me apart besides the fact that I have ADHD which means I hyper focus on things and will just hyper focus on the things that your pet needs/wants. And since I am able to do that with the combination of my experience with my own pets your pets will love to stay with me. Pet care is my full-time focus. Because I don't have a traditional 9-to-5, my schedule is completely flexible, allowing me to prioritize your pet's specific routine. Whether they need a mid-day medication dose, extra-long walks, or just someone home for consistent companionship, I am available to provide undivided attention and quick responses throughout the day. I provide a "home away from home" experience rooted in consistency. In my home, pets enjoy a safe, supervised environment with a routine that mirrors their own. When visiting your home, I prioritize security and cleanliness, ensuring your pet feels safe in their natural habitat. Regardless of the location, I maintain your specific feeding, exercise, and medical schedules with 100% precision, supplemented by frequent photo updates and plenty of one on one attention.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to each animal. I treat every pet as if they were my own, taking the time to learn their routine, personality, and specific needs so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I provide regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and focused on creating a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. My goal isn’t just to watch your pet, it’s to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for until you return. I’m currently in the military but I don’t work many hours due to being postpartum! You won’t have to worry about you pet not getting enough attention or being crated! I provide care based on each pet’s individual routine and needs, whether I’m caring for them in my home or in the client’s home. I make sure they receive their regular feeding schedule, fresh water, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I closely monitor their behavior and well-being, administer medications if needed, and maintain a clean, safe environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I work to keep their routine as normal as possible to reduce stress and help them feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings. I also provide updates, photos, and communication so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. My priority is ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for, just as they would with their own family.

Danielle has been a lifesaver to me and my boyfriend on taking care of our English cream golden retriever! She lets him out for us on time and we can always count on her to walk him every week even when we do it lastminute! She also is knowledge and when our dog was acting different she let us know. She genuinely cares and we aren’t so thankful that she takes care of him when we are away! Thanks Danielle!

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is the genuine care and attention I give every animal. I have experience caring for pets by walking them, feeding them on schedule, playing with them, and making sure they receive plenty of love and companionship throughout the day. I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with the same kindness, patience, and respect that I would want for my own. I also have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend quality time with pets rather than just stopping by briefly. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away, giving both pets and owners peace of mind. "Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule, enjoy staying active, and genuinely love spending time with animals. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping pets company, I enjoy providing them with the attention and care they deserve while their owners are away." I treat every pet in my care like they're part of the family. I make sure pets get plenty of exercise through daily walks, stay on their regular feeding schedule, enjoy playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away.

About: Years of owning different pets or being around them. Have raised puppies into good dogs. Watched my buddies aged and learned how to take care of them and not push them too hard. I pay attention to subtle changes in the dogs behavior and adjust what is needed to ensure their safety and comfort. The days I have available are because I work full-time Tuesday through Friday and I do not have a set clock out time as it varies day by day. My off/free days are flexible, and any scheduled time is devoted to your pup. When I get to watch your dog at your home, I will follow the rules you have laid out. My goal will be to maintain the safe and calm environment you as the owner have set for the dog, but playing and horsing around as able.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
