“Annette was so sweet to our boy while we were gone! She went above and beyond for us, and made us feel well assured that he was being taken care of! Will definitely work with her again in the future :)”

“Carissa has watched our dog twice and she did an excellent job visiting & walking her as well as communicating with us. She was patient and perceptive and eventually won our aloof dog over. This greatly eased our minds while we were away!”

About: I have grown up with 3 different dogs of very different personalities. Learning how to train them, care for them, and groom them was a large responsibility of mine. When I was around 9, I started caring for neighborhood pets. For several families I have continuously been an overnight caregiver, and for many additional families I have been a regular dog walker. These jobs have given me all kinds of experience with many different kinds of animals. Whether it’s a 150lb of pure muscle machine or an anxious ankle-biter, I strive to love them in the best way possible! My schedule is very flexible and this service brings me so much joy- no matter the time or place! I am passionate about every kind of animal— big or small, rowdy or tame, scaly or fluffy— I want to make sure that they are in the best hands! For this summer, I am only working free-lance/part-time jobs! In the summer and winter I am in Castle Rock, CO, and then during the school year I am in Waco, Texas. For care in a clients home, I will check in as frequently as possible and as often as the client requests. I will spend intentional time being present with the animals and be careful and aware of every need. In my home, the pets will have a gated backyard to play in, a thousand toys, and a kennel available if the clients desire. We have one dog at home who is incredibly friendly, but can also be separated or in a different area if needed.
“Kerri requested to stop by to meet our pup before she came to visit her while we were gone. I could immediately tell she is very good with and fond of dogs. I could tell she truly cares about animals and our dog would be in good hands. Kerri also went out of her way to tend to our cat and give him some loving too. I will definitely be using her again when we leave town. Thanks again, Kerri!”

“Alyssa took great care of my babies when I was away, she is quick to answer back and I loved getting all the pictures! 10/10 would recommend anyone book with her, and will definitely be rebooking with her in the future”

About: I have 10 years of experience taking care of dogs both young and old and I am able to handle medication and special diets. I love being around them and making them happy. I have a part-time job with flexible hours so I can do mornings or evening hours depending on my availability, I will always make time for pets. I have a big, fenced yard with two friendly collies. There is also a dog room inside where they can eat or simply lounge if they are tired
About: I have always taken care of animals and absolutely adore them ! You will not have to worry about your babies while they are with me! I am retired so any job will fit into my routine! The pets will be my priority ! I will comfort them if their parents are away ! I will rather watch animals in clients home! I will stick to the fur babies routine and will give them plenty of love and affection!
About: I’ve owned dogs and cats for my entire life. I’ve regularly taken care of family pets, house/dog sat, and walked dogs. I also have a dog of my own who loves long walks, the park and snuggles. My schedule is variable week to week but I have more consistent weekend availability. I have availability for dog walks during the week as well. I want the fur babies to feel as comfortable as possible. I also want to stay on a consistent schedule that your pet is accustomed to.

About: I've had dogs my whole life, and an owner for over 26 years. They are closer to me than most friends and family. If you don't like dogs, you won't like me either. I currently work part time, so I have plenty of time to walk and/or stop in to see your pets. They will be in good hands. I care for my pets in every way possible. I make their food, groom them, take the to the vet regularly, and play with them almost daily in their big back yard.

About: For the past few years, I have taken care of pets for my grandparents, friends, and family members, and I would love to help you out as well! These guys are so amazing! I booked them last minute and they made time to come hang out with my pups! They played inside and outside, and let them rest when they were tired and gave them lots of snuggles! I've booked them again and am so happy with the care of my pups! Thank you so much!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
