“Kiera was amazing! We had a mixup with our booking and she happily made it right for us, which we greatly appreciated! She took such great care of our pups and continually sent us videos and pictures! She’s the absolute best!”

“Rhiannen and Shaun were great! They came over for a meet and greet and asked a lot of great questions. During their stay at our home they kept us updated on our two pups everyday and were very respectful of our home. We were so happy to have them and I know our boys were safe, cared for and had a good time as well.”

“Deveiniety was amazing. Our dogs loved her. They are still looking for her. She was definitely a part of the family. We have an older boy and a high strung girl middle aged, who can be a handful at times. She handled it them and we never worried about our dogs at all. She texted us pictures and kept in touch with us directly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet sitting. We will work with her again. Already looking forward to the next trip. Thank you Deveiniety, you are awesome and looking forward to keeping in touch.”

“Graham was great! She communicated with us and we didn’t feel like we had to worry about our dogs when we were on our trip. They seemed happy and well taken care of when we got home :) Thank you so much Graham!”

“Elizabeth was amazing! She was able to watch our two older dogs for a weekend while our normal sitter was unavailable. One of our dogs requires medication twice a day and Elizabeth kept us constantly informed on administering the medication and how the dogs were doing throughout the weekend. 10/10 would rebook again in the future!”

“Reagan watched our 2 pups in our home for 9 days while we went on vacation, and we were honestly never worried about them one time! She actually feels like a member of our family now. :) Thank you, Reagan, for loving our babies while we were away.”

“Becca was fantastic. She spoiled our dog for four days. He was even fluffy and clean when we got home. She was super communicative and responsive. We will definitely book her again.”

“Ashlee took great care of our older dogs, she adjusted to their routine well (including giving medications) and kept me updated daily. I’d recommend her for your fur babies too!”

“We are so grateful to Brian! He took amazing care of all of our animals, and our house was spotless when we got home. He also identified and cleared up a rash on our dog’s belly, which was wonderful, I’d been trying to treat him with food adjustments for weeks! Brian kept us up to date with photos and we are pretty sure our dogs had a better vacation than we did!”

“Maddie was awesome!! We previously had a bad experience with rover so I was skeptical to use rover again but Maddie followed all of our instructions carefully and made sure to not leave our dogs more than 6 hours (which we had discussed). She sent photos every day and was very responsive. We already have her booked to have her watch our dogs again when we leave for a longer period of time because we trust she will take good care of them. Thank you, Maddie!!”
“Jackson was so attentive and took great pride in caring for Rocky. Also, our flight from London was cancelled and the day after this booking expired, he stayed the extra night and gave me such peace of mind I wasn’t scrambling t find a different person, family/friends to help. Can’t thank you enough for your great care. Also was very responsible while staying in our home.”

“Heidi was amazing. She is very caring professional. Her communication and follow through was exceptional! She was great with our 2 dogs and so communicative throughout our trip. I highly recommend using her.”

“Ingrid took great care of our home and our dog! She kept us updated with photos and let us know all was going well, which was much appreciated! We will be glad to have her stay again in the future!”

“Sam, Brianna's husband, was awesome. He was friendly, warm, and did a great job keeping us informed. Pretzel was sad that we were gone and I appreciate that Sam didn't try to sugarcoat it. He was honest about my dog missing us and not eating or playing. I would definitely use Sam again.”

“We were away for two weeks and Blyth stayed at our house for the 2nd time. She is amazing. She had a devastating family emergency come up while we were away and she never even considered leaving early. She goes above and beyond and our 8 month old springer adores her. We were comfortable he was loved on and in great hands.”

About: i’ve been a pet pro at a daycare and boarding place for a little over a year now and have learned so much! I’d love to help! Just have my current job to work around. I mostly work 3-8 or 12-8 so i’m mostly free outside of those times, and im open to communication on my availability. I like to show them lots of love! my goal is to help them get their wiggles out so they can have a stress free rest of their day!
“Jessica and Michael are so wonderful! I felt at peace when we were away knowing she would take great care of our dog. She took thorough notes when we walked her through the routine and provided updates as we wanted them. You can tell she really loves animals and cares about them while you’re away. Definitely will be using them again!”

Cami and Jesse were great with our pups! They sent photos everyday which was appreciated! Both of our dogs loved them! We were able to relax knowing they were being well taken care of! When we got home, the house was in perfect condition! Will definitely book with them again!
Maddie was fantastic!! Took the time to meet our animals in advance, which was great for our nervous pup. Communicated very well and provided numerous updates throughout her stay. House was perfectly clean and animals very happy and healthy when we returned home. Highly recommend Maddie!

If I could give more stars, I would! Kyla is THE BEST. From saving me from a literal last minute cancellation for a 14 day house sitting during the Christmas holiday, she went above and beyond taking care of my pup. She not only kept the house immaculate, but it's 'the little things' she did (getting her own treats, always sending great updates) which gave me peace of mind throughout. And when she heard my flight was going to be delayed late, she even stopped back in to check on her. I would recommend her to ANYONE! And I am grateful to find then only person that will be staying in my house when I have to travel. THANK YOU KYLA!!!

Thanks Angie for taking such great care of our 3 puppies! Angie was very prompt, responsive, and communicative. We have 2 very vocal small dogs and one senior dog. She did so great with them and we knew they were in good hands. We got regular pictures and updates. Angie also took great care of our house. Highly recommend using Angie to watch your dogs - they'll be well loved.

Maddie was absolutely wonderful with Boone! She was super easy to communicate with, set up a quick meet-and-greet, and made me feel totally at ease while I was away. She took great care of Boone, sent photo updates, and even surprised him with some stuffed toys for his birthday—highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, kind sitter!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Franktown walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Franktown maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Franktown choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Franktown. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
