“My chihuahua mix doggies, Roscoe and Mia love Donna and she loves on them. They come home happy and content and I know they have had a great time with Donna, her dog, Opal and her husband, Dave because they come home and sleep. Also there are always lots of terrific pictures. We are thankful for Rover and Donna!”

“Im thankful for Amber’s patience with King. About 4 hours in he became anxious crying for me and she made me aware in case I wanted to get him earlier. She provided clear communication throughout and is willing to welcome him again into her home and sharing her time with him.”

About: What started off as a family pet to teach me about empathy and responsibility, turned into a life-long love for animals of all kinds. From a goldfish to a golden retriever, and every animal in between ❤️ I am currently a full time remote employee so I am home 7 days a week. My job offers flexible schedules which allows me the opportunity to go for walks, play at the park, or even toss the ball around in the yard. I live in a townhome and my HOA requires all pets be leashed when outside. However, we have a dog park that is about a half mile away so it is an easy walk there and back. There are also a few trails close by that are great for an afternoon walk. I have multiple dog beds throughout my home as well as a small crate, and animals are allowed on the furniture (including the bed). I also have a basket full of toys for enrichment and provide a variety of treats (owner permitted) throughout the day. I use a gravity water dispenser so fresh, clean water is available at all times. I free feed dry food, and provide wet food on a "breakfast", "lunch", and "dinner" schedule.
“They took great care of Rick James during our visit. He loved his adventures. Very nice and professional. Pickup/drop-off service is a plus. Recommend them to take care of your doggie.”

“Booch spent her first day with Jocelyn. I loved getting the pictures and report. Booch was a bit nervous at first but Jocelyn was so kind. Booch was active all day with Pumpkin and is now resting. Booch can't wait for her next visit.”

“Tyler is wonderful! Made me feel so comfortable leaving my dog with him. Very knowledgeable about dogs too. He’s the only one that I will use to watch my pup.”

About: I mastered training dogs and then picked up grooming, nail trimming, while at a kennel. I take my time with all of my clients to provide the safest service possible. I started in a Vet Clinic under a professional groomer after completing my dog training internship back in 2015. Now I combine both professions to best serve the community. I am by trade a Professional Dog Trainer who provides basic problem solving up to advanced show work with the AKC and skill service work. I moved away from my clients back home so I have a very open schedule here! I work from home, do not mind working late, or working in random nail trims for $20. I also offer discounts to families who have adopted from a shelter, bring in your papers that show your adoption date within 60 days. Become a part of 'Mel's Dog Club' through my website! www. melsdogclub .com The environment is so important for the safety of the canines, which is why I have a fully enclosed training yard as well as a private backyard for poop time. No canine will be left unattended or off-leash while in my care. I utilize any kennel space I may have as well.
About: I have experience In taking care of animals in my home and other peoples homes. I also am a certified Veterinary Assistant so I am also able to give medication. I have chosen to take care of animals full time in my home and also spend time with them in their home where they are comfortable. I have a fenced in back yard where your dog can run around off leash. They can choose to be outside or inside but I can also crate if you prefer.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals since I was 6 years old. I used to take care of stray animals…gave them baths, took fleas off of them, provided food for them & somewhere to stay until the owner came for them or if I could I would keep them. I use to be a pet sitter for a family friend’s pets they had two dogs and one cat. The pets were on a schedule, so they would get fed, let out & treats at certain times and the dogs had a certain spot they had to be in for bed where there was a baby proof gate keeping them in, so around bed time I would guide them in their area and lock the baby proof gate behind me. Then it was an option to take the dogs on a walk, which I did take them as often as I could while sitting them I am currently open for availability at the moment! So I am pretty flexible right now to take care of your wonderful fur babies. I am in the process of looking for another job so book me while you can! I can easily crate your dog if needed. I am able to take them on walks if needed or wanted. I am able & comfortable to bathe your pets as well. Then I’m able to provide basic necessities for your pets such as feeding them and letting/taking them out for potty breaks. Just overall to make sure they feel safe, cared for & loved.
“We greatly appreciated the flexibility as we went sight-seeing. We were very happy that our dog got to have attention and go outside while we were apart from him.”

“Sara is great! She is a good communicator, keeping you updated along the way during the visit and provides plenty of pictures! It’s such a pleasure to know your pet is in good hands and you can rest comfortably about their care!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
