About: I have always had a dog by my side growing up. I volunteered at my local animal shelter in high school, and I have always loved to pet sit for family and friends whenever possible. I am a full time graduate student, with classes only Tuesday-Thursday, leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets during the rest of the week! I will make sure the environment is safe when walking pets, ensuring they won’t be injured from objects on the ground or other animals. I will ensure the terrain is also not too hot or cold for their feet. I will also not let them overdo it outside!

About: Animals have been a guiding force in my life since childhood; I grew up caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. This hands-on experience taught me to manage everything from specific dietary needs and feeding schedules to administering oral medications when necessary. My daily life involves ensuring my 2 German shepherd/Husky mix receives plenty of exercise and mental stimulation through walks and play. I am comfortable with various breeds and temperaments and committed to providing a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for your pets, following all instructions to the letter I am currently not working and spend my days painting. I am available last minute 7 days 24 hours a week. I am available to be committed to all needs of your furbababies. I have a completely fenced in large backyard with a large doggy door for easy access into my home. If bathing is needed I have a detachable shower head for easy washing.

Maria has been wonderful with our dog, Kita. Kita stayed with her regularly from approximately 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM, and even though she's a nervous girl, it was clear from the start that she quickly became comfortable and happy there. Maria was incredibly flexible with scheduling and even allowed Kita to stay until 5:45 PM on one occasion, which we really appreciated. The best thing is that Kita absolutely loves going to Maria's house. She gets excited when we arrive and always comes home tired and well cared for. It's such a relief knowing our dog is in good hands during the day. We highly recommend Maria to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and accommodating dog sitter!
