About: I grew up with dogs and have had my own now for 8 years. Dogs are an important part of my life and I enjoy them so much. I did dog walking with Wag for about a year while I lived in Denver, I had several repeat customers who enjoyed my services. I am careful with weather, environment, and triggers for each dog. Playtime or walks are something I find very important and I ensure happens to keep them exercised and healthy. I run an online business so I am able to easily care for pets during the week and evenings. My weekends are wide open to care for your pet so you can getaway on your trips! Let your pawed friends enjoy the freedom of the country without the hustle and bustle of the city! I run an online business so I am able to easily care for pets during the daytime during weekdays. My weekends and evenings are wide open to care for your pet. I have a fenced yard for dogs to freely roam and go potty. There are nice shady trees if they enjoy lounging outside and plenty of new smells to explore. There are sticks available if your dog is a stick lover (please inform if this is not allowed.) My home has AC to keep pets cool and give shelter from summer heat. Dog water is RO filtered and pure. I can ensure there are multiple water dishes to ensure there is always water available. Potty time is always available. Walks around the neighborhood are leashed. There are no unexpected encounters with off-leash dogs on walks, the occasional neighbor dog barking from the distance. My home has distance from the next neighbor with pets. My "caged pets" that is shown on my profile is a 70 gallon saltwater aquarium with fish and corals. Should not be an issue with any pets. Some might even be curious to watch them moving around.
“Chayna and Jacob were super wonderful with my little buddy! Every day he came back happy and tired from all the walks. I could have asked for a better situation for Zuko! We are so happy we found Chayna & Jacob, working on fort Benning made the pick up and drop off seamless :)”
“Ashlie and Shiloh are awesome! Pomni had such a great time playing all day, they sent lots of pictures and communicated with us about everything! Really appreciate knowing Pomni had a good day while I was away!😊”

“Thanks so much for taking care of Max & Winston on a short notice. They seem to have had a blast they passed out for most of our journey towards which was much needed as we were also beat up from hiking the incline. We hope to visit again and will keep in touch-fingers crossed. All the best!”

About: I've been caring for animals since I was 8 years old. My family had rabbits, horses, dogs, cats, and various other caged creatures. I have recently have the joy of a new puppy in my life that I am in the process of training to provide emotional therapy to children and adults. I am a disabled veteran entrepreneur that provides me with the opportunity to be available 7 days a week. Since getting my puppy my life revolves around pet care. I have a puppy and my roommates have her brother and a collie. All three love having friends over to play with. lf I'm coming to your house I can bring my pup for socialization or not it's totally up to you. Either way they are going to get great care and attention.

“My chihuahua mix doggies, Roscoe and Mia love Donna and she loves on them. They come home happy and content and I know they have had a great time with Donna, her dog, Opal and her husband, Dave because they come home and sleep. Also there are always lots of terrific pictures. We are thankful for Rover and Donna!”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, I’ve always had my own, and honestly, I can’t imagine a house without one. I started helping out neighbors and family with their pets when I was 10, and I’ve been the "go-to" dog sitter for my friends ever since. I’ve handled just about every personality type there is. I treat every dog I watch like they’re part of my own family. I’m 62 years old and work from home so I’m available most days, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out and play with your pups! Because of my flexible schedule your pet can always talk me into cuddling instead of working. Big bonus is I live in Meridian Ranch. We have a fenced yard with locked gates and a doggie door to ensure your pet stays safe at all times. Our yard is small so not much room for larger dogs to run. We also allow pets on our furniture as well as in the beds….just sayin…..we have two grandchildren who adore dogs and are excited about having them here when they visit. We have had some pets who have peed in the house despite being house broken. If needed we do put belly bands/&or diapers on your pet if they use our carpet/and or furniture instead of outside. We only host one family at a time so your babies get all our attention.
“Jennifer provided excellent doggy daycare for our 6 month old puppy. Our pup was excited to go each day, which shows she had a great time. Jennifer had great communication and provided frequent updates. Overall, she made me feel so comfortable, and we will be using her again in the future.”

“Carrie and her husband did such a great job with our dogs. They were both exhausted and very content when I picked them up and provided great photos of their day together.”

“Tyffanie did a great job with my Dalmatian puppy. He’s a little hyper and I was extremely nervous to drop him off but I got so many cute photos and updates from her throughout the day! He came home so tired he immediately fell asleep and seemed worn out from all the attention he received! So happy to have found her and will be using her for all my puppy’s daycare needs!”

About: I work from home with two friendly pups who love new friends! We’ve got a fenced yard, daily walks, and frequent dog park trips. Pup cups are a must in our routine. Your dog will feel right at home here! My life basically runs on dog time! Working remotely means I’m always around for walks, play breaks, and pup cup runs. My two dogs love having a buddy to join our daily adventures. Pet care isn’t just part of my schedule—it is my schedule! In my home, dogs are treated like family! I keep a consistent routine with plenty of playtime, walks, and downtime. Since my own dogs are crate trained at night, I ask that visiting pups bring a crate too for bedtime comfort and safety. I also prefer dogs who are housebroken, enjoy walks, and are good on a leash. To make sure everyone gets along, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet so your pup can meet my two friendly dogs before their stay. With a fully fenced backyard, your pup will have a safe space to play and relax.
“Great with my dog Cooper, she really knows how to take care of dogs especially dachshunds and will keep them safe. My dog acted like he didn’t have any to leave because he loved his stay so much. Will definitely use her again when I have work trips come up.”

“Amber is very good with my dog. She makes sure he is well cared for and gets a lot of attention. She is honest and trustworthy. I highly recommend her to watch your dogs for any length of time needed.”

“I couldn't be more pleased with Silvana's care for my 12-month-old puppy. From the moment he arrived, she showered him with attention, sending heartwarming pictures, ensuring he had enriching walks, and making sure he was well-fed. I spent the day worry-free, knowing my furry friend was in excellent hands. Silvana's genuine love for animals shines through, and we look forward to continuing to entrust her with our pup's care. A solid 5-star experience!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life, starting as a devoted cat mom and later becoming a dog mom as well. Growing up in a military family, I was often trusted to care for the pets of other military families while they were away. That early responsibility taught me not only the basics of pet care, but also how important it is to provide comfort, consistency, and love when their owners can’t be there. As a pet parent myself, I’ve experienced both the deep joy and the heartbreak that comes with loving our fur babies. I’ve watched my own pets grow, thrive, and eventually say goodbye—experiences that have given me a deep understanding of the trust you place in someone when you leave your pet in their care. I’ve even supported one of my own through a battle with cancer, providing attentive, compassionate care every step of the way. I work from home, which allows me to be present and attentive for most of the day. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches—they’ll have plenty of supervision, interaction, and comfort throughout their stay. I also have a welcoming home with a fully fenced yard and two young children (ages 4 and 16 months) who are gentle, loving, and already learning how to respectfully interact with animals. Together, we create a warm, family-oriented environment where pets can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. Because of these experiences, I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. Whether your pet needs playtime, cuddles, routine care, or a little extra support, you can feel confident knowing they are in loving, capable hands while you’re away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home and am able to be present throughout the day. I’m already used to a structured schedule that includes feeding, playtime, outdoor time in our fenced yard, and of course plenty of cuddles and attention. Because I’m home most of the time, I’m able to provide consistent supervision and companionship, making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and included in the daily rhythm of our home. I build my day around their needs—whether that’s regular potty breaks, exercise, play sessions, or simply relaxing close by. On a weekly basis, pet care is a normal and joyful part of our household. With two young children and our own pets, creating a loving, pet-friendly environment is already part of our lifestyle. Adding another pet into that routine feels seamless, and I make sure each one gets individualized attention, care, and comfort while they’re with us. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. Since I work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day. I stick closely to their normal routine for feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and rest to help them feel comfortable and secure. Pets have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, along with plenty of indoor space for play, relaxation, and cuddles. I also make sure they receive lots of individual attention so they feel right at home. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and low-stress experience where your pet feels comfortable, cared for, and happy until you return.
“Michelle is amazing! She welcomed us enthusiastically with very little notice ( the night before needing care when we were in a bind). Michelle arranged a met n greet right away, and although our pup was shy with Michelle at first, our pup came away from doggy daycare with new forever friends! Michelle made our pup feel like she was a well-loved little queen! If Michelle is willing to work with us in the future, we plan to have her caring for our pets regularly. I told Michelle that she is a gem! And she is just that - a rare gem and a kind soul! Michelle cares for her clients pets as if they are her own. Highly recommend Michelle!”

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
