About: Our family had dogs since I was a young boy; I've had many since then. I've also trained them. We also had fish, hamsters, birds, reptiles and lizards as pets. Some 15 years ago, one of my dogs went blind... I cared for him for 10 yrs after that until he passed away. He never left my side. A few years ago, I got another dog but she died of cancer last year. At the moment, I don't have a dog (she died) but I have 5 cats. I do rather well with both and my cats are quite used to dogs. I used to live on a ranch where we raised Arabians; I was responsible for feeding & caring as many as 18 horses. When I was younger, I rode often and played polo. My father passed 10 yrs ago and his wife sold our ranch. I am available to feed horses provided that I'm paid the time it takes to travel back and forth. I am available for cat/dog sitting & feeding. If you need dog boarding, please let me know if you pet gets along with cats. I work from home, so I am a home quite a bit. I also have a flexible schedule, and this can be accomodated to work around certain issues or conflicts. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or comments. I have a large (unfenced) yard, but I am willing to take your pet on walks in my neighborhood, as needed. I live one block away from a park. I am home quite often, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am available for drop-ins, visits, or even overnights.

About: Hello, a little bit about me is my mom was actually a miniature dog breeder while I was younger, and I would actually help her take care of the puppies, along with having the privilege to be with the little mama’s in the middle of the birthing process. It resulted in me learning how to take care of the many animals, and how to have a lot of patience lol. I, myself, have 2 baby dogs and 1 needy cat, so I understand how it is when they become your world. If you have any more questions about me, just feel free to ask! I know that it can be an overwhelming experience to find a good sitter, but I am here to make it as fun and relaxing as possible. Thank you so much, and I look forward to supporting you! I am currently working part-time at Farmers Insurance, and it is 1-5pm on Monday-Friday. I also just prefer a couple hours for the morning on Sundays to go to church, but all other hours I am completely free! I cannot take care of pets in my home sadly, but I will be able to soon! I pay attention to subtle changes in the dogs behavior and adjust what is needed to ensure their safety and comfort. The days I have available are because I work full-time Tuesday through Friday and I do not have a set clock out time as it varies day by day. My off/free days are flexible, and any scheduled time is devoted to your pup. When I get to watch your dog at your home, I will follow the rules you have laid out. My goal will be to maintain the safe and calm environment you as the owner have set for the dog, but playing and horsing around as able.

When I first started working with dogs, I walked packs of 8-10 dogs off leash in San Francisco parks! I'm familiar with great dog-friendly trails and have worked with all kinds of dogs (temperaments, age, and sizes)! I have a dog friendly home in Old Colorado City. I do have a safe fenced in backyard. I always do "meet and greets" before boarding or training any dog. If I stay at the dog owners' home, I stick to the dogs normal schedule/routine and make sure their home and pup is better than I found it!
