MiKenzie can care for
Availability
I am currently employed full time Monday - Friday from 7:50 am to 5:00 pm but I work remotely so I have the ability to bring my job with me where ever may be needed. If you are needing in home or over night care, as long as you have Wi-Fi in your home, I would have the ability to bring my job with me to your home, ensuring your pets have company and care at all times. That being said, I do not have the ability to pack up my work equipment and leave mid day if you will be home on a week day before 5 pm. If that is the case I’d have to just make sure everyone is fed, has water and has been let outside to go potty in the morning, and then I’d have to go back to my house to work for that final day.

Safety, trust & environment
While I would love to be able to watch other’s pets in my home, I currently have 3 dogs in my home so I believe it would be best to care for your pets in your home to ensure both your pets and my pets feel safe and comfortable in their own spaces.
Information MiKenzie M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets have any special needs or requirements, any medications they need to take, or any routines that need to be kept!
A typical day
My dog has a heart murmur, so we are not allowed to go on walks because she needs to be able to stop physical activity when she gets tired. She still needs exercise so typically we will play fetch for a little while every day. That way we stay close to home so she can go inside and rest as soon as she starts to get tired. That being said if your pets like to fetch, go on walks, play tug of war, or any other kind of activity I am happy to do what ever will make them happy!

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up taking care of dogs. As a child it was mostly the family dog, and my grand parents dogs. I am the go to friend when any of my friends or coworkers need pet sitters. I also have my own dog named Butter and cat named Caper. I have experience in caring for many other less traditional pets, such as frogs, lizards, fish tanks, axolotls, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, mice, chinchillas, rats, and birds. I have a passion for caring for animals.

Reviews

MiKenzie was amazing!! Our animals loved her, communication was fantastic. I’ll absolutely be requesting MiKenzie come back to spend more time with our animals

MiKenzie was on top of every detail with the care of our dog, and is clearly a natural with animals. She asked questions as needed and took note and let us know when our dog was being finicky with her eating. Excellent communicator and very punctual.

MiKenzie sent daily updates and took great care of our dogs. I felt comfortable leaving them in her care and knew they were being well taken care of!
Mikenzie did such an amazing job for me. I have a massive dog, two cats, two birds, and an axolotl. Leaving our pets was always something that gave me anxiety. Until we tried Rover and met MiKenzie. She took care of each individual pet amazingly and went above and beyond. We don’t have to worry anymore about leaving our pets and that is a huge blessing. Thank you MiKenzie! You have spoiled us and we will never use anyone else!
