With my time on Rover, I have taken care of everything from dogs to sugar gliders! I love being around animals and have been around dogs nearly all of my life. I work a restaurant job part time Friday and Saturday mornings and could be gone anywhere from 2 to 5 hours during those days. About: We nicknamed our home The Dachs Inn - a weenie wonderland! We’ve cared for Dachshunds for 15 years and specialize in meeting the unique needs of this breed, including dog ramps on our furniture and deck. Our home features a dog door with all-day access to a giant backyard for potty breaks, play time, sunbathing and squirrels!!! Plush dog beds are placed through the home and a giant sectional provides the perfect spot for cuddle time. Daily walks are provided, we even have a dog stroller for senior dogs or those dachshunds suffering from IVDD. I work remotely from home full time and, along with my retired husband, provide hourly drop-in care, play dates, overnight and extended boarding in our home. Additionally, I provide home visits and walking services to families located on the west side of Colorado Springs. Other locations throughout Colorado are considered on case-by-case request for extended care in your home (5 or more days). I have three dachshunds, ages 15, 10, and under 1 year. My dog-friendly home has a fenced back yard, we feed all visiting dogs separately, and can provide daily pictures of your baby’s activities. I can also provide regular weigh-ins, medications, and teeth brushing. I am very active and love going on long walks/hikes (up to three miles) upon request. While I prefer to host only smaller dogs in our home, I am open to all breeds for care at your home - including drop-ins, walks, and house sitting. I kindly ask that all dogs are current on all vaccinations, including kennel cough. For medical emergencies, we are established at Westside Animal Hospital, The Animal Clinic of Woodland Park, and the Emergency Pet Center.

About: What started off as a family pet to teach me about empathy and responsibility, turned into a life-long love for animals of all kinds. From a goldfish to a golden retriever, and every animal in between ❤️ I am currently a full time remote employee so I am home 7 days a week. My job offers flexible schedules which allows me the opportunity to go for walks, play at the park, or even toss the ball around in the yard. I live in a townhome and my HOA requires all pets be leashed when outside. However, we have a dog park that is about a half mile away so it is an easy walk there and back. There are also a few trails close by that are great for an afternoon walk. I have multiple dog beds throughout my home as well as a small crate, and animals are allowed on the furniture (including the bed). I also have a basket full of toys for enrichment and provide a variety of treats (owner permitted) throughout the day. I use a gravity water dispenser so fresh, clean water is available at all times. I free feed dry food, and provide wet food on a "breakfast", "lunch", and "dinner" schedule.

She is quick to reply, sends lots of photos, is not afraid to ask questions and super flexible. We love her!! Our dog is a rescue who is emotionally and physically damaged. She took him with no problems. I highly recommend using her. Her husband and kids are amazing as well.”

“Courtney went above and beyond taking care of our dog. She even clipped his nails, expressed his glands, and gave him a full bath before pickup, which we really appreciated. Our pup can be pretty picky, high-maintenance, and honestly a bit spoiled, but she took such great care of him. He usually doesn’t do well with other dogs, but Courtney clearly understands dog behavior and body language. She carefully managed his interactions and helped him slowly become more comfortable around the other dogs—he even ended up playing with them! She also kept us updated with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re so glad we found her, and it really looked like he had so much fun during his stay. We highly recommend Courtney and would absolutely ask her to watch him again the next time we go out of town!”
