“Lauren made my first experience with Rover absolutely flawless! From the meet and greet she was very nice and friendly, and approached my cat with care and ease, matching his playful energy and immediately win him over with some treats. She was extremely attentive to all the instructions and asked questions that made me know Humo was gonna be on the best hands. She was very communicative during her visits, her video and photo updates were some of the highlights of my days while I was away and I could tell Humo enjoyed every minute of her being around. I plan to keep working with her for some upcoming trips :)”

“This was my first drop in visit from Tahler and she did fantastic. She sent me tons of pictures and all of my fur babies looked happy. I really appreciated the updates.”

“We have used Bre a couple times now and we love having her watch our fur babies 🥰 We always get the best pictures and responses when she visits. I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone!!”

“So glad I found Sarah. She is smart and efficient. Appreciated her taking care of our cats. Now I feel comfortable taking vacations. Thank you, Sarah!”

“Rae was fantastic! My cats (who can be very stand-offish took right to her. She worked hard to get my one cat, who is very finicky, to eat and spent time playing with the cats. I came home to a very neat and tidy home as well. She came at the appointed times and sent great photos and videos. Rae really helped me be able to relax on vacation. I would highly recommend her. She clearly knows and understands cats! 😸”

“Zia did such an amazing job with our kitties! We're so grateful she was available over the holidays which gave us such peace of mind while we travelled. Her updates and photos with each visit put our minds at ease knowing that our kitties were being well looked after. You can always tell when someone really cares about animals, and Zia absolutely cares which helps the furry ones get comfortable with a disruption to routine. I highly recommend Zia and will definitely be reaching out to her again the next time we travel :)”

“Mei was awesome . My cat Artemis loved her and she is very picky . I was happy to see her come out for her . Very awesome with communication and arrived at the house at a great time during the day . Thanks mei . Hope to use you again soon !!”

About: When you book a homestay with me, you can enjoy your trip worry free and come home to a ✨ clean house ✨ and happy pets. I have experience with senior and special needs dogs and adore cats. 🐾 You get 2-3 pictures per day and peace of mind. They get 1-2 walks per day (60min) and lots of love. 🐾 Typically on weekdays I will be out from 11:00am to 3:00pm to run errands and take care of my own kitties. If this doesn’t work for you we can discuss it at the meet and greet prior to booking. 🐾 A drop in visit is 30 min of basic care for your pets such as feeding, potty, and medication. Should they need more care please consider booking a home stay. 🐾 I am always accepting new dog walking clients on weekdays! While caring for your fur babies, I’ll only leave the house for 2-4hrs at a time to run errands and take care of my own kitties. Your house, your rules! During the meet and greet we will discuss everything from security to laundry. I bring my own food and ensure that I leave it cleaner than I found it.
“Dixie was wonderful! Came prepared to the meet and greet armed with treats and didn’t bat an eye at our overly excited anxious pittie. I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely book again!”

About: I pet sat for friends and neighbors all through my teens, including dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, sugar gliders, and birds. During/after college, I worked in several dog daycare and boarding facilities, as well as keeping private pet sit clients through word of mouth. I have experience with puppies, medically fragile dogs, and multi-pet households. My own family pets required insulin daily, so I’m familiar with injections as well. Over the last 9 years, I’ve lived in Colorado and have only pet sat for friends and family, but am looking forward to spending more of my time with animals and helping to provide peace of mind for their families. Right now I am a full time stay at home mom for our pets as I’m in between part time jobs. Looking for an opportunity to make this work my main work, which means I have no scheduling conflicts that would prevent me from checking on your babies! I have lots of experience with dog handling and walking strong/big/escape artist dogs. I always prefer to have two modes of leash/harness/etc attached to any pet I’m walking if possible, and would love to know what works best for your pet and their needs. I also have an escape artist cat at home that I have lots of experience keeping inside the house even when she’s trying to make a run for it through any cracked door. My goal is to make any interaction with your pets feel as calm and safe to them as if you were there instead.
“Cami did a great job taking care of our two Soft Coated Wheatens while we were on vacation. She’s an excellent communicator, punctual, and truly cared for their well being. We recommend her to the Rover community and will definitely hire her to watch our fur babies again.”

Rae did absolutely fantastic. I'm a very anxious cat mom and this was the longest I had ever been away from my babies. She eased my worries and kept me updated the whole time and provided plenty of pictures and videos so I knew they were okay. She even got the shy ones to warm up to her. Wonderful sitter and look forward to using her again the next time I go out of town

Britta really cares about doing a great job for your pets! She came out to meet our pets ahead of time and also took on a last minute request to care for them when we experienced flight delays. She is so kind and went above and beyond to help us out. We will definitely be requesting her services again. Thank you, Britta!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cimarron Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
