“Bre is reliable, has strong communication skills, shows affection to my cat, Gypsy, and pays attention to detail. Gypsy has warmed up to her and rolls over on her back to be petted now. My fur baby was happy, healthy, and stress-free when I returned home. I highly encourage others to hire Bre.”

“Zia took amazing care of our two fur babies while we were away! She was a huge help administering medicine for my senior cat twice a day which was such a huge relief for us being so far away! She left our place clean, was very communicative with us when needed, and even watered plants for us! Your pets and home will be in a great hands with her!”

About: I've had dogs and cats usually both at the same time as my children were growing up. Since early 70's. I loved them and they seem to like me ok. The last dog I had was a Border Collie rescue that I adopted in Omaha 2017 she was found in Louisiana. Her and I moved to Colorado in 2020. She was very sweet and also loved other animals in the building where we lived including cats. Sadly, she passed 2024. We could communicate just with body language and looking into each other's eyes as I spoke to her. I still interact with all the dogs in the building when I see them. We would also go on hikes up at Palmer Park on the off-leash dog trail. Made a lot of friends with dogs there as well. I now live with my children and their 3 cats. They are very sweet also. Lots of cuddle time. Our pets just need love and attention and know that we care. So, I do tend to spoil them while abiding by the rules. I do have obligations a couple of times a week during the day. I'm usually gone about 2-3 hours when that happens. Evening meetings twice a month for couple of hours. I will do errands and help friends out from time to time. However, when I am scheduled to take care of a pet I work my schedule around them. Thursday mornings are the only day I cannot reschedule but I'm only gone for 2-3 hours average. Take the dogs for walks if client wishes / allows. Pay attention to cats and dogs so they don't feel alone. Stick to the routine the clients have set for them. Also change cats litter boxes when needed.

“Kathryn was amazing. I’m so grateful that I booked her. She was completely professional and when the cats left a mess she cleaned it up with no complaints. Will definitely book her again in the future if she’s available”

“Rachel did an excellent job taking care of our 3 cats while we were away for 9 days! It’s such a relief knowing they were receiving excellent care and attention and everyone was in great shape when we returned!”

“Dixie was great! She played frisbee with my obsessive yorkie each time she visited. She also sent me lots of pictures each time she visited. Will definitely book again!”

“Britta really cares about doing a great job for your pets! She came out to meet our pets ahead of time and also took on a last minute request to care for them when we experienced flight delays. She is so kind and went above and beyond to help us out. We will definitely be requesting her services again. Thank you, Britta!”

“Arianna is amazing! She took great care of our dog and cat for a week to include daily walks, giving medication, and making sure they got lots of love. She sent several pictures and detailed updates for each visit. Our pets were very comfortable with her and she treated them like her own. We will be using her again and highly recommend her!”

“Cara was great with my 2 cats. She checked in daily, left good daily reports and photos. When I returned the cats were happy and well taken care of.”

“Heidi was just plain fantastic. Her genuine care and constant updates just put all of my anxiety of leaving my dogs at rest. Heidi again thank you so very much for being a perfect human.”

“Nell was so great with Kitkat! She played with her and cuddled when Kitkat decided she wanted it. I also loved her photos and little updates I got during the visit. It's clear both she and Kitkat enjoyed each other's company”

“Mei was WONDERFUL! She went above and beyond on the drop-in visits for our dog over a long weekend, including lots of pics on the report card and making sure our dog got all his pees and poops out. She was great with our dog and he liked her instantly. Highly recommend!!”

About: What makes me different from other sitters? I’m an animal lover through and through. I understand routines, enrichment, and the importance of keeping pets happy and safe while you’re away! Availability: 📚 Full-time student (9–5 weekdays) 🌙 Evening walks & drop-ins available during the week 🐾 Full weekend availability for sitting, longer visits, or extra playtime I believe pets do best when their routine stays consistent. This is the first time I left Humo for more than a weekend, and the only reason I had peace of mind is because Lauren was our sitter. The love and care she gives in every single visit, how communicative she is and how she perfectly understood his routine made me certain he was perfectly taken care of all the time. I’m forever happy to had find her 🤍

Anna was very thorough in every aspect of checking in on and taking care of pixies needs. My cat is a shy girl an Anna was sure to be patient until she let her guard down, treats definitely helped! Pixie was happy and healthy when I came home from a trip, she was well taken care of and clean!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cimarron Hills. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
