I enjoy getting to know an animals personality, and what games and toys they enjoy. I’m happy to take your pets on walks around the block or a trail or even let them roam free and a dog park. My highest priority is that they feel safe, trust me and enjoy themselves. I want you to come back to a clean home and hope to leave it better than when I came. For house sits, I like to leave the house clean by washing my sheets and dishes, as well as sweeping, bringing in mail, taking out trash and watering plants. Happy to do any extra tasks that you need. For multiple day drop ins, I make sure to sweep and clean the pets food area as well.

I make friends with all the animals! You name it, when I encounter any animal, I’m all about creating a relationship. Whether it’s a hello to a deer on the trail, or training a friend’s new puppy, I absolutely love to make a connection with our furry friends. I saved my sweet baby cat, Maya from the street when she was 7 weeks old and nursed her back to health. Ever since then, she’s been the princess of the house. Having the chance to connect with dogs through my friends and this app is great since we don’t have one at this time. I love to be a part of getting them outside to get exercise and mental stimulation. It’s so important. I enjoy charming shy kitties and getting hesitant ones to play. Cuddles with senior pups are the best and making sure they get all the special care they deserve makes me so happy. I’m excited to meet new pets and get to know their unique personalities! Lauren took great care of our girl, Josie, while we were out of town! She stayed at our house with Jo and was there with her most of the time, took her on nice long walks every day, and sent frequent updates. She was diligent in making sure she understood all of Josie’s routine and habits and her daily medication schedule. She had a run in with a not so nice dog on one of their walks too and by the sounds of it handled it like a pro! Josie was happy and her usual self when we got home to her. We’ll definitely be using Lauren again!
Lauren went above and beyond taking care of our cats and making sure our home was taken care of while we were on vacation!
Lauren made my first experience with Rover absolutely flawless! From the meet and greet she was very nice and friendly, and approached my cat with care and ease, matching his playful energy and immediately win him over with some treats. She was extremely attentive to all the instructions and asked questions that made me know Humo was gonna be on the best hands. She was very communicative during her visits, her video and photo updates were some of the highlights of my days while I was away and I could tell Humo enjoyed every minute of her being around. I plan to keep working with her for some upcoming trips :)
Lauren is a very friendly and caring person. She does what she says she will do. She cared for our animals and house and sent pictures with updates making us feel at ease. We met through a facebook co-op group of people interested in learning from each other about gardening, hiking, food-making, clothes swapping, etc. She will be an asset for anyone to use her as a house or pet sitter.
