I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up with them, I’ve always had my own, and honestly, I can’t imagine a house without one. I started helping out neighbors and family with their pets when I was 10, and I’ve been the "go-to" dog sitter for my friends ever since. I’ve handled just about every personality type there is. I treat every dog I watch like they’re part of my own family. We were incredibly fortunate to find Paula in Peyton, CO. From the very first moment we met Paula at her home for our meet-and-greet, our anxiety and worries began to disappear. What stood out immediately was how comfortable our two pets were around Paula, in her home, and even with her grandchildren. They seemed to settle in as though they had known her forever. That gave us a sense of reassurance that is difficult to put into words. While we were on our trip, Paula sent us pictures every single day. Those pictures meant so much to us because we could see for ourselves that our pets were happy, relaxed, and being genuinely cared for. It wasn’t simply someone feeding them and keeping an eye on them—Paula truly bonded with them and treated them as her own. Even after we returned home, Paula continued to check in and ask how our dogs were doing. That told us everything we needed to know about the kind of person she is and the genuine connection she made with our pets. Honestly, it felt less like leaving our pets with someone we found on an internet site and more like having a family member take care of them. We didn’t just find a pet sitter—we found someone we trust, someone our pets love, and, more importantly, we feel like we’ve gained a new member of our family. If you’re considering Paula, look no further! We cannot recommend her highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pets with love, patience, kindness, and genuine care, Paula is that person. Our doggos had such a nice time at Paula's! We especially enjoyed the daily pics of Darby and Willow who were thoroughly enjoying themselves. They already miss all the extra love and attention they received and they will be so happy to return to Paula's when we vacation in future.

Schedule
I’m 62 years old and work from home so I’m available most days, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out and play with your pups! Because of my flexible schedule your pet can always talk me into cuddling instead of working. Big bonus is I live in Meridian Ranch.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard with locked gates and a doggie door to ensure your pet stays safe at all times. Our yard is small so not much room for larger dogs to run. We also allow pets on our furniture as well as in the beds….just sayin…..we have two grandchildren who adore dogs and are excited about having them here when they visit. We have had some pets who have peed in the house despite being house broken. If needed we do put belly bands/&or diapers on your pet if they use our carpet/and or furniture instead of outside. We only host one family at a time so your babies get all our attention.
A typical day
We are very low key and do a lot of hanging out. We do try to stick to the same rules as your pets have at home as not to confuse them. We don’t take your pets for walks as we had an incident with other dogs on the trail one day, so we made the decision not to walk pets anymore for their safety.

- Be sure and bring their bed. If your pet can’t be left alone for short periods of time, please bring a crate. Does your pet free feed or have scheduled feeding times? Is your pet allowed to have table food? Does your pet take any medication? Is your pet house broken? Please be sure to bring your pet’s favorite blanket or stuffy and their water and food bowls. If you choose the grooming/bathing service it will be a BATH ONLY.
