About: I grew up with a Standard Poodle that I had for 12.5 years and was responsible for taking care of her from when she was a puppy to a senior dog. I dog sat my neighbor's Yorkie while they were away for a couple days at their house. While I was living at the Olympic training center, I took care of her leader dog for a week, so I have experience taking care of service dogs. I also dog sat about 5-6 people's dogs on the Trusted House Sitter platform for time periods of up to 2 weeks. Finally, I will be dog sitting my Dietetic's preceptor's 14-year-old Chihuahua and cat for about 2 weeks, so I will also have experience cat sitting. I am an EMT in Denver and also in paramedic school. I love hiking and being outside! Long walks with my dogs multiple times a day is one of my favorite activities.
