You Pet Deserves a Staycation!
For the past 20 years, we've enjoyed sharing our lives with the pets we always wanted growing up. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are our top priorities. We have 14 years of experience caring for cats and 6 years with dogs, including large breeds up to 100 pounds and dogs who are anxious or reactive on walks. My wife and I both work from home full time with flexible schedules, allowing us to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the day. We believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and individualized care. We'll do our best to maintain your pet's normal routine, reinforce the positive training you're already using, and help them feel comfortable while you're away. We're experienced with positive reinforcement, loose-leash manners, crate training, enrichment activities, and medication administration for both cats and dogs, including subcutaneous injections for cats. (Let's face it—the humans usually need the most training!) We know that exercise is only part of the picture, so we enjoy incorporating sniffing games, enrichment, and other mental stimulation, tailoring activities to your pet's age, personality, and energy level. We currently provide care in your home, including house sitting, drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, medication administration, and, of course, cuddles and companionship for pets who enjoy them. Our family includes two friendly Labrador Retrievers, Lulu (6½) and Moose (11½), who keep us active with hiking, fetch, and enrichment games. They've given us years of hands-on experience understanding dog behavior, meeting individual needs, and creating a fun, structured environment. While you're away, we'll send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. We understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and we'd be honored to earn that trust. We look forward to meeting you and your companion.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a four-foot fence in good condition around our yard and two friendly dogs. We are always happy to take any pets who like to jump over and explore, out on leash, and supervise playtime. We don't love dog parks for our pups but are happy to take yours if that is your preference. We know the personalities of all the dogs we pass each morning as we walk through the neighborhood, which allows us to adapt if your dog has any concerns about walking.

J is an amazing pet mom. She has watched our Australian Shepherd many times and I couldn’t be more pleased. She takes excellent care of her own pups and invests in their training. She spends countless hours working with them and they are very obedient and respond to commands. She is dedicated, detail oriented and will take excellent care of any dogs fortunate enough to board with her.
Tom and Janae are and always have been animal lovers. They have always had a cat, dog or both. They are incredibly responsible and provide a structured loving energetic home for their animals. I have witnessed their constant care and always being willing to sacrifice to make sure that their animals are taken care of and get what they need. They love being active with their dogs and getting them the exercise that they need and have a safe comfortable home with plenty of room for extra pets. Their animals are incredibly lucky to live in such a loving happy home. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing help with animal care.

Schedule
My wife and I both work from home full time with flexible schedules, allowing us to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the day. Our day starts out with walks, rain or shine, and always includes fetch or tug sessions. Our dogs also love to play keep-away with us in the yard or house. We will provide whatever type of play your pet loves! Our yard is surrounded by our neighbors' yards, all of which are very quiet and usually empty. We have one friendly dog next door that is always taken in if she barks, so it's a good environment for more anxious animals. It's a very chill place to hang out, and we also have a back deck where our animals like to sun themselves, and a nice concrete patio shaded under the deck until the last 2 hours of the day. Our dogs go in and out all day as they please. If there is extra energy after dinner, we have a little more play time before we wind down. The humans usually hang out with the dogs in the family room at night watching or reading something. It's a great time for snuggles and scritches. We don't allow dogs on the couch, but we do get down on the rug and hang out with them at night. Our youngest dog Lulu usually decides when she wants to go to bed and lets us know. Our senior Moose is more of a night owl who gets put to bed when he's good and tired, usually after he's fallen asleep. We understand that each routine is different and do everything we can to make our four-legged guests feel comfortable and at home.
