I'm retired and have a very open daily schedule. There are rare appointments but nothing routinely that takes me away from my home. I'm here to play, or just watch them sleep!

We have a doggie door to the fenced backyard. The door is open all day and closed when we go to bed for the night. We have plenty of space if your dog needs to be crated. Our backyard is a good size to throw a ball or just hang out on the lawn. I can leash walk your dog if more exercise is needed.

Activities depend on the dog, breed, and age. We are good playing tug, fetching, and/ or just sniffing around the yard! Bottom line is to have fun and peace.

Pet care experience
My husband and I have had dogs since we were married 35 years ago. We always started with puppies and now just have one 13 yr. spaniel. We both love being around dogs, watching them explore and play. We have been successful in jointing raising our dogs. (I swear I think my husband can really "talk" to the animals) We are retired, and we would love to share our home with your dog so you can enjoy some down time as people have done for us.
Reviews

Our dog was in the BEST home with Liz and Gary!! Bella is a shy old girl and Liz and Gary understood and respected her temperament because they've had both shy AND outgoing dogs of their own. Their only dog they have now, Austin, was a perfect companion for Bella because he's quiet and old, too. We feel in love with Austin AND Liz & Gary!! They have a beautiful, clean home and the perfect backyard for you and your dog to feel safe. We will definitely be hoping Liz and Gary are available every time we travel and need a place for Bella!
Liz and Gary were great! Loved all the pictures of the dogs they sent. Dogs came home happy and clean!

Liz and Gary are truly wonderful dog lovers! They sent me a picture of my fur baby every day. I would definitely leave my dog with them again! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
