Pet care experience

Dog lover since childhood

I’ve loved and cared for dogs since I was a child. My first dog in my family home was a Cocker Spaniel, and now I have a 3 year old Pitbull mix that I adopted when he was a puppy. Raising him from such a young age gave me hands-on experience with puppies — from potty training to those unpredictable early months. I also worked closely with professional trainers and a behaviorist as he grew, so I’m comfortable with structured training routines and reinforcing good habits during walks and playtime. Oliver deals with some anxiety, so I’ve learned a lot about reading canine stress signals and helping nervous dogs feel safe and calm. I also live with a 3 year old Dachshund, my roommate’s dog, and they are quite the pair. I often watch my friend’s and family’s dogs if they need a sitter. Big or small, lazy or energetic, I love them all! :)

Doggy Day Care • Aug 22, 2026

Chaerin was amazing! She was available last minute and was flexible with timing for a meet and greet. During the stay Maxine played with her pup and came home pooped. She communicated throughout the day and sent pictures which was GREATLY appreciated!

Chaerin has taken care of my dog max multiple times and she is just one of the best dog sitter I know. She’s caring, considerate and she treats max like her own. I will always feel safe with Chaerin caring for max and so should you

Schedule

I work remotely, so I’m home with my dogs all day during the week — meaning I’m around and available if anything comes up during a walk or visit. You won’t have to worry about me being rushed or distracted by a day job elsewhere. Weekdays (early mornings and evenings) are my most flexible windows for walks. Weekends tend to be busier for me, but if you reach out with enough advance notice, I’m happy to schedule dog care on weekends too. I’ll always communicate clearly about scheduling and let you know as early as possible if anything needs to change.

Safety, trust & environment

Enrichment is a big part of how I care for dogs day to day — every dog in my care gets at least one enrichment activity daily, whether that’s a lick mat, a snuffle mat, or a bully stick to chew on. I think mental stimulation matters just as much as physical exercise. Since I have two dogs of my own, there’s no shortage of cozy pet beds around the apartment, so your dog will always have a comfortable spot to relax. Because I work from home, I’m able to offer frequent bathroom breaks throughout the day — no dog is left waiting hours between potty trips.

A typical day

I love being active with my dogs! I always start the day by walking around my neighborhood with them. I am walking distance to a few parks so we have no shortage of new places to sniff and play fetch at.

I like to know about any health conditions, medications, or allergies. It’s also helpful to know about behavior — reactivity to other dogs or people, leash manners, resource guarding, or fear triggers — plus any commands your dog responds to and their treat preferences.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
