Pet care experience

Dog lover since childhood

Dogs have been part of my life since I was a child — and I’ve loved them ever since. Spending time with dogs is genuinely one of my favorite parts of the week. I offer dog walking services, with walks tailored to whatever your dog needs — from a quick 30 minutes to a full hour. I work from home full-time, so I’m flexible — early mornings and evenings on weekdays, and pretty much anytime on weekends. My own dog, Oliver, was a shelter rescue, and I raised him from a puppy with a lot of help from trainers along the way. He deals with some anxiety, so I’ve spent time learning to read dog body language and stay calm when a dog is nervous or unsure — something that’s made me a more patient, attentive walker for every dog I meet, not just mine. I also regularly walk Oliver alongside my roommate’s dachshund, so I’m used to handling different sizes and energy levels on leash together. I always bring water and treats, send photo updates during our walk, and offer a free meet-and-greet before the first walk so everyone feels comfortable from the start. My goal is always real exercise and a genuinely good experience for your dog — not just a lap around the block. Looking forward to meeting your pup!

Schedule

I work remotely, so I’m home with my dogs all day during the week — meaning I’m around and available if anything comes up during a walk or visit. You won’t have to worry about me being rushed or distracted by a day job elsewhere. Weekdays (early mornings and evenings) are my most flexible windows for walks. Weekends tend to be busier for me, but if you reach out with enough advance notice, I’m happy to schedule dog care on weekends too. I’ll always communicate clearly about scheduling and let you know as early as possible if anything needs to change.

Safety, trust & environment

Enrichment is a big part of how I care for dogs day to day — every dog in my care gets at least one enrichment activity daily, whether that’s a lick mat, a snuffle mat, or a bully stick to chew on. I think mental stimulation matters just as much as physical exercise. Since I have two dogs of my own, there’s no shortage of cozy pet beds around the apartment, so your dog will always have a comfortable spot to relax. Because I work from home, I’m able to offer frequent bathroom breaks throughout the day — no dog is left waiting hours between potty trips.

I like to know about any health conditions, medications, or allergies. It’s also helpful to know about behavior — reactivity to other dogs or people, leash manners, resource guarding, or fear triggers — plus any commands your dog responds to and their treat preferences.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
