Lilah is naturally suspicious of others (was a shelter dog) but clearly loved her and her family. When she was picked up, she whined and clearly wanted to bring her back home with us. lol. Aleks sent photos every day of Lilah which were amazing to see. I was very thankful to see her running and walking lots and enjoying herself in their company. I would 10/10 recommend her to anyone I know and if we plan to leave town again will definitely see if she’s available to take care of our girl!”

About: I have been caring for dogs for about 7 years in Colorado and boarding for 4. There is plenty of space in my home and I work, sleep and eat on the man floor which is normally where we are so the will have plenty of companionship. I have a large back yard for us to play in and I love going the extra mile if they’d prefer long walks or the dog park. I live in a wonderful walkable neighborhood with two dog parks nearby. Currently I am only taking small dogs as new boarders to create a safe environment for little ones. I have a 9lb Pomeranian named Checkers that I adopted in Jan 2024. Checkers is the sweetest little rescue. He is more of a people dog so tends to keep to himself. Please note I do take up to 2 dogs at a time and occasionally 3 over the holidays or on an overlap day. I am currently not available for ongoing checkins or walks during the work day. I work from home full time and I am always around to give your pup attention. I am available during the week and most weekends. I have a 6ft fenced back yard to play in. This is where we do potty breaks as well. I do not let little dogs in the yard by themselves for safety reasons. During the day we’ll go for a walk or play depending on the schedule you’d like to keep. I am here during the working day. If I need to step out in the evening or weekend I limit that to 2-3 hours at a time so your dog gets plenty of attention. My room, office, kitchen and living space are all on one floor so your pet is welcome to make themselves comfortable wherever they’d like.
“Michal was great! He send detailed daily updates, and maintained great communication throughout his stay at our home. Our cat Theo is a bit skittish, and somewhat skeptical and cautious. It takes a lot of effort to win her over. Michal was great at building a good relationship with her, respecting her boundaries and allowing her to warm up to him on her terms. He would send videos of her rubbing against his leg, and chatting with him, activities she only does with us. Clearly Theo felt very comfortable with him, and became best friends with him. We started joking that she was going to disown us when we got home, because she loves Michal more than us now. When we got hemp Theo was very calm, and acted like we were never gone. Which leads me to believe that she was very comfortable and at ease with Michal, and that she received the best care. Michal left our home in great shape, it was clean, tidy with everything in its place, as if he was never here. Thanks Michal for taking such great care of Theo and our home, you gave us the much needed peace of mind to be able to relax and enjoy our vacation.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since before I had any memories. I grew up with them and have had them in my life since then. I have always loved playing and hanging out with them. My friends and family have always reached out to me first to watch their pets as they know how much I enjoy it. I have had the pleasure of working with all sorts of dogs. From reactive rescues to anxious little ones, I can work with any of them. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine. As of right now, I am only working part time from home while I work on making dog care/training my sole profession. I work with my own dog 2-4 hours a day, not including time spent just hanging out. I will spend the same amount of time with your dog I am in a spacious apartment with my own dog. She is fixed good with sharing her space. I take my dog out 4-5 times per day for bathroom breaks and walks. I can adjust to any feeding schedule you may need. Water is always left out. If you would like me to work on obedience/behavioral training with your dog, I may give the treats as a reward. Please let me know if they have any allergies. I have an extra crate to offer if your pup needs it. I always keep a camera on the dogs whenever I leave the home.
