“After my pet sitter did not show up on the second scheduled day, Kayla gladly agreed to care for my cat. Kayla easily strategized gaining access to my apartment without a meet and greet. Kayla is very reliable and communicative! Kayla was my saving grace!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Kelly! She had trouble getting into my apartment because of a wonky app and she waited to take my pup out. I highly recommend her!!”

About: I’m attentive, patient, and very tuned in to animals’ comfort levels. With a background in the biomedical field, I’m comfortable noticing early signs of discomfort, infection, or changes in behavior, appetite, and energy. I also give pets space when they need it and let them warm up at their own pace. I have a cat and two large dogs myself, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets with someone new. I’ll provide clear communication from the meet-and-greet onward, along with timely updates and plenty of cute photos while you’re away (pet photography is one of my favorite things!). Pet care fits best into my routine on weekends, whether you’re planning a getaway or need last-minute help. During the week, I’m usually available for early mornings, evenings, and late PM check-ins. I currently offer care in your home, where your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar space and routine. I will carefully follow your instructions for feeding, litter box care, medication, playtime, and quiet time, while respecting your home and your pet’s boundaries. I’ll make sure doors, food, litter, and any special instructions are handled carefully, and I’ll send clear updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and comfortable while you’re away.
About: I’ve taken care of pets of all ages for the last 6 years, and pride myself on getting to know every animal that I care for. I also have two cats of my own- ask me about Luna and Stanley! I’m most available weekday evenings and over the weekends, but we can arrange early morning drop-in visits as needed. I’m willing to drive anywhere within Denver and western Aurora. Every animal is unique, so I always make sure to check in before my first visit about your pets’ specific likes, dislikes, and needs. I take the time to let your pet warm up to me, especially if they’re on the shyer side.
“10 out of 10 Recommend & Will request Lara to care for Biscuit again. Biscuit was drawn to Lara during our introduction home visit. I was instantly at ease leaving him for five days. Lara was polite, flexible and extremely dependable. Each one hour visit was followed by a detailed write up and photo shoot. I could not be more pleased. Highly recommend Lara. She will steal you and your pets heart”

“Noelle was great with Quill! She kept him company, gave him all the attention he needed, and made sure his box was clean and that he had food and water!”

“Kirstin did a wonderful job taking care of my cat Milo and provided excellent service while I was away. What was originally supposed to be just for a long weekend turned into a much longer need for Kirstin's services when I had a medical emergency while I was away. Kirstin graciously extended her time and ensured Milo was well taken care of until I could return. She gave me detailed updates everyday and went above and beyond to ensure Milo was happy, loved, well fed and looked after. She put my mind at ease while I was gone and I came home to a happy cat :)”

“Awesome follow through and professional care is what we got for having Gary watch our pups for 3 days! He was on time and took great care of our pups. We definitely recommend him. He accepted the assignment after another provider fell through. We will definitely hire him again.”

“Thank you again for everything! The cats were so relaxed and litter boxes all cleaned! Appreciate you making my life easier when I have to leave. You’re amazing.”

“Hannah was incredible!! She took amazing care of my cat and left my house spotless - did the dishes she uses and took out my trash! She goes above and beyond and really does take great care of my olive while I am away. She is my go to cat sitter and hightlu highly recommend!!”

“I cannot echo the other reviews enough. Kate is wonderful!! I don’t think my cat, Charlie, has ever played so much in her life (and this makes me so happy!!). Kate also picked up quickly on Charlie’s needs (lots of cuddles & pets) and I felt stress free being away from my sweet Charlie knowing she was getting lots of love. Charlie’s automatic feeder stopped working and Kate let me know immediately. She added more visits, adjusting her time, to ensure Charlie was fed for every meal. Charlie girl was in great hands and now has a new best friend! Thank you Kate!!”

“Cara and Tom are great and easy to work with. They made our holiday trip so easy and took care of our cats with a lot of love. Our kitties loved them and had a great time with them. We cannot thank them enough as they made a stressful and busy holiday easy to deal with by taking great care of your kitties!”

“Stacie thank you so much! As you know, I have never used a doggie service before. You are responsible, thoughtful, honest and I cannot tell you how thankful I am! I will surely call upon you again! Highest of praise!”

“My cat Rita is very shy and generally hates meeting new people. However, she loved Denise and opened up to her instantly. Denise was attentive, caring, and always made sure Rita got the attention and love she needed while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Denise to anyone who wants their pet to be well taken care of!”

“Asia was wonderful! Knew from the meet and greet that she would be. Sent the cutest pics of Marilyn and made sure she was well taken care of. Would love to use Asia’s services again!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Glendale
Ashley is the best. This is my second time having her watch my 18 year old cat, Rocky, and I have never felt more comfortable leaving my cat under someone else’s care. My cat needs 2x daily oral meds and sometimes he’s picky with his wet food so it’s often more of an art than a science trying to feed him and she has every trick in the book! She’s communicative, timely, and I got to come back home to very happy healthy cat :) I will be booking with her again

Caitlyn was an incredibly thoughtful and caring sitter. She sent so many adorable pictures and a thorough note with each drop-in. Her attention to a maintinence concern was also quite helpful and eased my nerves as I got back home. I would definitely book with her again should Kiki need someone to watch her!

Addison did a fantastic job with our kitties! We had a bit of a complicated situation with my parents’ cats also in town to be looked in on, but she navigated it super well & was highly communicative! I also completely screwed up and had our old address on file still - Addison really went above and beyond dealing with that, we’re super appreciative!!

Lily was absolutely fantastic with my kitties! She was incredibly reliable, punctual, and made sure everything was taken care of perfectly during her drop-in visits. It’s always tough leaving a pet behind, but Lily gave me complete peace of mind. I will definitely be booking her again!

Chelsea did an amazing job taking care of my cat while I was away. She was reliable, attentive, and quickly responsive to all my messages. My cat was happy, well-fed, and comfortable when I got back, which gave me great peace of mind. I would absolutely trust Chelsea again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring pet sitter. I will be using her again in the future.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Glendale. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
