I have 50 + years of pet care experience. I have had dogs (xl to small), cats, guinea pigs, hamsters etc my entire life. I have over 5 years experience volunteering at animal shelters working with dogs and cats and training others to work with, walk and otherwise enrich their lives. I was voted Volunteer of the Year at the DDFL (now Humane Colorado) in 2023. I feel all animals are individuals and have never met one I didn’t love. I have worked with nearly every breed, size and age of dog. I have experienced with leash reactivity and have worked on a number of behavioral issues both with my own dogs and at the shelter. I have only utilized clicker training and other positive reinforcement techniques. I have fostered kittens, cats, dogs and puppies. I have experience administering medicine to dogs, cats, guinea pigs and hamsters.
