Hi, my name is Mélody, I'm French and I moved to the USA in September 2022. I was a kennel technician for a cats and dogs shelter/pension in the Netherlands where we adopted our 2 kitties so I encountered all kind of pet behavior and know how to adapt accordingly! Pet sitting is not a side hustle for me, it's my full time job and I do it because I love spending time with any kinds of pets! They reward us with so much love ❤️ I show every else's pets the same love and affection as I would my own pet, pets are an extension of our family and I try to treat them the same way. I hold a Fear Free certification, which helps in my ability to provide a stress-free environment for your beloved pets. As a pet lover, I can take care of all kind of pets in addition to dogs and cat: rabbits, birds, lizards etc. I can take care of your pet in my house if needed! We have two sweet kitties, they're used to other pets but are very shy on the first meet, you probably won't meet them. Reliable and attentive, I do not bring any additional animals or guests without asking your permission first, in order to make the stay of your pet the most enjoyable. I have helped more than 100 families to care for their furry or not so furry friends over the last few years and I would be honored to help you with yours! When I do my pet-sitting visits, I'm adapting according to your needs and those of your pet. I have very good boundaries with cats, people calls me the cat whisperer! Usually, even the shiest kitty won't stay hidden from me. I can provide potty break and playtime for your pup in your yard, refresh water/food and administer medicines if needed. I'm experienced in oral, topical and subcutaneous medications like insuline. I am very neat, you'll find your home at least as clean as it was when you left. It's just so much better when you come back to your happy pet(s) and clean place! For the dog walking, I can walk anywhere between 10 minutes and one hour, it will depend of your dog's energy. For boarding, your pet can go everywhere he/she wants or is allowed to go. My cats would probably just try to take a look at her/him in the beginning and that's it. They will eventually play with your pet, if they feel comfortable enough. You're more than welcome to bring your pet's bed and other stuff like toys and blanket so he/she can feel comfortable. Mélody took such wonderful care of Joey! She was so loving, attentive, and caring with him. She spent time talking to him, comforting him, and making sure he was comfortable and happy. This is our second visit with Melody! Melody welcomed our cat into her home during a house renovation. When our family had a convergence of busy schedules that would have left our 15 year old dog home alone, we contacted Melody last minute and she took great care of our fur family on a drop in basis. We really appreciated the daily pictures of our babies and highly recommend Melody for drop in and house sitting!
Melody was a Godsend for my very shy kitty! She eased my guilt for leaving him on a 3 week trip by spending more time with him than the contract demanded and sending me lots of pictures and videos of him playing with her and getting lots of petting and care. Thank!

Mélody was great with our two cats! One of our cats is typically very skittish, but warmed up to Mélody right away. Our other cat needs multiple meds on a scheduled regiment, and Mélody was great about ensuring he got his meds on time. We would definitely recommend Mélody for your cat sitting needs.
Melody is great with Ollie. I always know he is well taken care of when I'm away.

Schedule
Pet sitting is my main activity so I can take care of your pet whenever needed from 7AM to 9PM. Just let me know what time you would prefer for the visit!

I have a fenced yard for your dog and cat if is allowed to walk on leash. My cats like that! I can send you pictures every time I visit your pet and I also let you know how he's doing while you're away.

I adapt to each behavior so I can play or cuddle for a long period, I have multiple toys at home to entertain your sweeties. There's a nice trail just across the street where your pup would enjoy to walk!
