Safety, trust & environment
Besides having cats and dogs my whole life, I also worked at an animal rehab where I nursed racoons, squirrels, rabbits, and other wildlife. I do board cats (and other animals). Even though my dogs have lived with cats, I do separate them! I have an upper floor with plenty of room for your cat to stay and roam freely. They get lots of play time, pets, attention, and a cat tree, without interacting with the dogs. Safety first! (Some owners have asked me to introduce the cat and dogs to see how they do. If that is the case, let's chat, and I can tell you how I do it safely for all). Always happy to facetime/zoom!

Information Erin & David S. would like to know about your pet
Anything and everything you need me to know! If you are traveling (i.e. flight) please let me know. I would be happy to do a shopping trip for you prior to your return. Also, I know weather and flights can delay your return. Just let me know, and I would be happy to care for your pet until you return.
A typical day
There is open space and a great walking trail behind my house. Your pet is treated as one as my family. Clients have said to me " You are really a Dog (pet) person aren't you" (probably because my clothes are always covered with fur) I have a fenced backyard, so we spend a lot of time outside. (My dogs are in, out, in, out, in out). We also play a lot (I have Aussies), takes naps, and watch Dog TV.

Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Erin - a longtime Rover sitter, fellow pet parent, and passionate animal lover. I'm excited to introduce my partner, David, who has officially joined my Rover profile! Together, we're able to provide even more personalized care, flexibility, and companionship for your pets. David primarily handles our House Sitting bookings. Since he's retired, he spends much of the day at home, allowing him to provide plenty of companionship, potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, and one-on-one attention. If your pet loves having someone nearby throughout the day, David is the perfect fit. Around here, we jokingly call him the "Dog Whisperer" because dogs naturally seem to gravitate toward him, and he absolutely loves spending time with them. (And teaching them new tricks!) I've been a trusted Rover sitter for almost 8 years and have had the joy of caring for a wide variety of animals—from dogs and cats to chickens, rabbits, chinchillas, birds, and even geckos. Whether it's boarding, house sitting, or drop-in visits, I care for every pet as if they were my own. As both a Rover sitter AND a Rover client, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pet in someone else's care. That last look before you leave can tug at your heart. My goal is to make that separation as stress-free as possible by creating a safe, calm, and loving environment where your pet feels comfortable, secure, and genuinely cared for. In addition to years of pet sitting, I have experience in animal rehabilitation, which has given me an even deeper understanding of patience, compassion, and individualized care. Every pet has their own personality, routines, and unique needs, and I take the time to get to know each one so they feel happy, relaxed, and right at home. One of the advantages of booking with us is having two dedicated caregivers. Together, David and I offer greater flexibility, more availability, and an extra set of caring hands whenever needed. Whether your pet is staying with us, we're stopping by for visits, or David is caring for them in your home, our goal is always the same: to treat them like family and provide the love, attention, and care they deserve while giving you complete peace of mind. We look forward to meeting you—and welcoming your furry, feathered, or scaled family members into our care!

Erin took wonderful care of my kitties, kept me updated, and was very flexible when I had to extend my trip.
