When we brought him to her he had some minor health issues (eye infection, skin irritation) that required some attention and medications that she very nicely provided. About: I’ve cared for cats of all kinds since I was 10 years old. Friends, neighbors, and family have relied on me to feed, play with, check in on, and care for their cats while they were away. I love animals and enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality, routines, and comfort needs. As a longtime educator and instructional coach with over 20 years of experience, I’m dependable, patient, organized, and attentive to details. I understand the importance of consistency, trust, and creating a calm environment, especially for shy or older cats who may need extra patience and care. Because my partner and two children are allergic to animals, cat sitting gives me the opportunity to spend time with animals I love while helping families feel confident their pets are safe and cared for. Since I’m off for the summer from teaching and currently working part-time, I also have a flexible schedule for visits, feedings, playtime, and companionship.

“Alyssa was fantastic! She was very attentive to my fur babies, a perfect communicator, and made me feel very comfortable going out of town knowing my pets would be well cared for. Highly recommend Alyssa!”

“Jacquie is phenomenal! My cat, Mouse, absolutely adored her and her attention to detail is unmatched. She is so thorough and truly goes above and beyond in every way. I’m thrilled that my first Rover experience was such a positive one and I will absolutely be booking her in the future.”

“Alexis was amazing!! Our cat is so skittish, but Alexis won him over and made sure he got his treatments. She's super reliable and trustworthy. I felt so relieved and could relax on my vacation.”

“Stephany is kind, reliable, and professional. She cleaned up a litter mess and also just made sure the litter boxes were clean and not just emptied. It’s that extra effort I really appreciate. My cat is also pretty picky, has hidden from a lot of Rovers but she loves Stephany’s kindness!”

“Diane took excellent care of my cat for four days while I was out of town. She left complete updates and photos during each visit, which was greatly appreciated. Diane has an extensive history caring for animals, and I felt assured knowing my little guy was in great hands. Thanks again, Diane! Definitely will be rebooking in the future.”

“Paulina was so awesome! We have a special needs cat that requires a lot of careful attention including oral syringe medications, and Paulina did an amazing job taking care of her. She was professional, communicative, and friendly. Would highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you have a cat that needs a higher level of care!”

“Alyssa took great care of our cat, and the check-in photos of her were better than any pictures we ever get ourselves. With our cat's history of separation anxiety, we could tell when we got home that she was well cared for and comfortable. Alyssa's fantastic and absolutely someone you can trust your pets with.”

“Katie took great care of the cats (they didn’t want her to leave) and she was great to work with for us. I recommend her and look forward to employing her again.”

“We recently had Noel watch our two cats and she did a fantastic job! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly took great care of them. We came home to two happy, well-loved cats and a tidy space. We'd highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring pet sitter!”

“Jenna and Jason did an amazing job! Every visit was documented and I recieved meaningful updates with lots of pictures! I will definitely be using them again in the future!”

“Grace was absolutely awesome! Her attention to detail is top notch, even when your pets hide for 5 days! Daily text and photo updates provided without asking which was great. She clearly loves animals and takes pride in the services she offers! A++ thanks again”

“Elise has been such a pleasure to work with. I have 2 senior citizen cats and they truly enjoy her visits. She and I even conspired to get one of my boys his medication, which he'd prefer not to do. She is also great at communicating with humans. I made a mistake about booking, which she caught and she quickly fixed. I'll be contacting her to take care of the kitty boys again soon. It is such a relief to know they are under such good care.”

About: We were both raised with cats and I’m slightly obsessed with them. Familiar with senior cats and kittens, both kibble feeding and wet food feeding. Whatever makes your babies happy!

“We loved having Leah watch our Australian Shepherd, Coco Puff, while we went different places with our son during the weekend we were visiting him here. Leah is such a calm, loving person and Coco took to her right away. We could tell Coco felt right at home with Leah, when she eagerly went to her the second day we dropped her off there. It was nice to receive pictures and updates on how Coco was doing while we were away from her.”

About: My partner Matt and I recently had our 14 year old husky cane corso mix named Millie pass away. We had her since she was a small puppy and tried our best to give her the best life full of hikes, treats and love. We're not ready to permanently fill our home, so we are wanting to support other pet parents while they are away. We understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets while away, especially if they are older and have medical needs. We have experience with injectable medication, oral medication, and urinary incontinence. Millie was a people friendly lady, but did not like other animals, so we are very well versed in that sort of aggression and how to handle those situations. I work hybrid-remote and my partner works from home, so someone will be home at all times. A doggy door gives your pet access to a fenced backyard and frequent potty breaks at their convenience. One household's pet(s) at a time ensures your pet(s) receives our full care and attention without the stress of unfamiliar pets. We live in a safe and quiet neighborhood giving your dog access to safe walks with many new smells. Your pet's comfort is our priority, we have comfortable dog beds for every room, and their choice of couch to lay on. We know training a pet is tough work, any pet boundaries, routines, or food restrictions will be upheld; let us know of any. If your pet suffers from anxiety, we also offer doggie daycare so they can get used to our home in a short term setting before their longer overnight stay. They can be reassured that whenever you leave, you always come back :)
“I'm so grateful for the excellent care Nadia takes of Pierogi. He always runs into her house every morning ready for another fun day. He gets to go on walks, hang in the backyard, play with all of Newton's toys, and have couch snuggle time. She is very responsive to his needs and a great communicator. So glad we found Nadia and fam!”

“Lindsay and Joshua were so caring to my Angel pup! She’s a big sweetheart that doesn’t like to be alone & the provided lots of care and love with her! They were quick to respond and flexible with the time adjustments. I appreciated that they took all the energy out of her in playing because that’s her favorite thing to do!! Will rebook again ! ☺️🙏🏼”

“Jacquie was very sweet from the start. Asking all the right questions for Willy’s first time meeting her. She gave me great updates throughout the day, and effortlessly accommodated when I had to ask for a later pick up time. Willy was so sad when we were leaving. We can’t wait to go back!”

“Sophie was a wonderful, attentive sitter who kept me up to date with everything going on while babysitting my dog. She provides frequent updates and photos. 10/10 would hire again”

“Johan was fabulous! I got photo updates throughout the day, and my pup came home well loved, snuggled, and worn out!! Suki is such a good playmate! Will 100% book again. Thank you so much!”

“Rebecca and Katie were great with Sophie! They were great at communicating and sent updates and pictures throughout the day. Sophie had such a great time and didn’t want to leave. They were so accommodating with my schedule and watched Sophie an extra hour or two. She came home happy and tired. Would definitely recommend.”

About: Your pup will have plenty of company and attention while they’re here! I work from home full time, so there’s a real human around throughout the day, along with my own friendly, dog-loving pups who are always happy to have a new friend around. 🐾 Our home is a great fit for dogs who enjoy being part of the family. My dogs are friendly, social, and used to sharing their space with other pups. I love giving dogs the opportunity to play, hang out together, or simply relax side-by-side depending on their personality and energy level. I’m always mindful that every dog is different, so I let them set the pace and make sure everyone is comfortable. We have a fully fenced backyard with lots of grass, a covered patio, and a doggy door so pups can easily go in and out. Whether they want to run around and play, lounge outside in the shade, or curl up next to me while I work, there are plenty of ways for them to enjoy their day. I’ve been caring for dogs for more than 20 years, from playful puppies to sweet seniors, and I genuinely love having dogs in my home. My goal is for your pup to feel comfortable, included, and right at home while they’re here. I’ll also send regular photo updates throughout their stay, so you can see all the fun they’re having and know they’re happy and well cared for! ❤️ With two dogs of my own and working from home full time, pet care is already a natural part of my daily rhythm, something I genuinely enjoy rather than just manage. Adding your pup to the routine will be seamless (and fun)! Your dog is welcomed into my home like part of the family. Since I work from home, I'm here all day to make sure they're fed on schedule, have regular potty breaks, and never feel left alone or anxious. My fully fenced backyard with a covered patio and doggy door gives them the freedom to go outside whenever they want. Inside, they have a comfortable, calm space to rest, play, or hang out with me and my two dogs while I work. For boarding stays, bedtime routines are kept consistent and your dog has a cozy place to sleep. I'm experienced with dogs of all temperaments, including those with medical needs, and I'll always follow whatever routine and instructions you share with me.

“Bill was very good with Freya and she got along well with his dog as well. Very accommodating, as I had to cut the visit short. I'll definitely be calling him in the future!”

“Jeff was able to accommodate our last minute booking request. Oats spent 1/2 a day with him and I don’t think he’d want it any other way! Jeff provided great notes, photos, and lots of attention to Oats. We will definitely book again without hesitation! 😊”

“Jason took great care of our puppy Oak while we were moving. He took Oak for multiple walks each day and he kept us updated with pictures throughout the day. Jason was flexible and accommodating with our schedule. Oak seemed very comfortable with Jason. Overall he is a great sitter!”

About: I'm a chef in Denver and unfortunately don't have the time to dedicate to a pet of my own. I would love to help others by watching their dogs because I currently can't have my own dog! I live a very active lifestyle and would love to bring your dog along for the ride with me! Growing up my family always had pets in our home. I would love to fill this void by helping you by watching your pet! I currently work from home 5 days a weeks. I occasionally have on-site events in the evenings that require a 2-5 hour max engagement. These typically take place on the weekends. My back yard is approximately a quarter acre and completely fenced in with 6ft privacy fencing. There is access to the back yard via the back door. My house is pet secure with no small chewable items laying around. I do not have pets or children of my own.

“Grace has been so kind and accommodating with our little Luna! Even on days when our 11-year-old pup isn’t quite up for a walk, Grace still takes the time to bring her outside to a shady spot in the grass so she can enjoy some fresh air and the beautiful weather. We truly appreciate the extra care and attention she gives Luna”

About: I’ve been watching my neighbors’ animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and love them dearly and I currently have two cats of my own! Animals are my safe space and I love spoiling them! I currently have two cats, so I obviously give them love and take care of them everyday! I am in school, but do it all online so I am very flexible with my schedule and availability for your pets! I’ll always make sure your animal is comfortable with the way I am interacting with them and never push their limits. For cats - if they aren’t keen on humans, I won’t bother them. If they love attention and to play, I’ll be waving a little wand around immediately to get some of their energy out and giving them lots of love. For dogs - I will make sure they are comfortable and walked, and have gone out enough. I can take them to parks and play, or keep them separate from other animals depending on their personality!
“Nicole yet again took great care of our Jade and took her on walks while we couldn’t be there for her on long work days. So thankful for Nicole giving us peace of mind knowing she’s got Jade in good hands.”

“Paulina is reliable, attentive to detail and great at responding! She currently walks my two huskies and I have nothing but positive things to say. I’m extremely happy with her services! I would definitely recommend her 10/10.”

About: I grew up in a family of pet lovers and have lived with and taken care of all sorts of animals — dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, rats, horses, you name it! I regularly house sit, cat sit, and dog sit for my community of friends and family, so I have many repeat customers and references. I have recent experience with puppies and elderly special needs animals, and I love to go for long walks with pets, so high-energy animals or ones that need medicines are not a problem for me. I work from home as a freelancer and I have a reliable car which gives me a lot of scheduling flexibility. I currently work remote on a flexible schedule, which means pet care fits really easily into my daily and weekly routine. I’m available for drop in visits, dog walks, and in-home sits on a flexible basis — please reach out with your preferred schedule and I’d be happy to figure out a schedule that works for everyone! I’m available for taking care of your pets at my home and for taking care of your pets in their home environment — I regularly do both! I have a small, fenced-in yard for playtime, which I always supervise. I’m a very attentive pet owner so I will always look out for the safety and happiness of your pets like they were my own.
About: We were raised with large dogs and had medium dogs as adults. Our senior most dog had illness before he passed so we have experience with senior dogs. Our youngest dog was high energy and the older dog was low energy so we know how to handle both. Our youngest dog was aggressive towards other dogs so we also have experience walking with an aggressive dog. 90% of the time we are at home. We will only be leaving to get food or groceries from the store. We’re homebodies at this point so your babies won’t be alone for more than 2 hours max if necessary. We have a semi fenced yard and a pretty regular schedule. We wake up at the same time everyday and go to sleep around the same time everyday so you’re babies will be cared for as needed!
“Jill was so amazing and helped me out with a last minute walk. I’m looking forward to her helping me out with his regular walks in the future! She is super kind and prompt with communication!”

About: I've been living my dream for the past four years, traveling the U.S. as a full-time digital nomad while pet-sitting in exchange for accommodation as I explore new cities, towns, and countryside. Having now built an extensive pet-/house-sitting resume (i.e., over 60 five-star reviews, which I’d be happy to share with you) on a different platform that focuses on travel exchange, I'm eager to offer my quality services as more of a business through Rover! While I've traveled all over the U.S. to pet-sit, my Rover reviews, specifically, so far come from Kansas City, San Diego, San Francisco, and Anchorage. I will be in Denver for the fall (staying in the RiNo district), where I hope to find some pets who need a new friend in me! I’ve spent LOTS of time in Denver and surrounding areas over the years, and I’m so excited to be back! Over the past few years, I've cared for all sorts of pets, ranging from one healthy cat to a seven-animal pack including previously-stray dogs who need to be proven to that they're safe. I've truly made some best friends in these pets; my top favorites have been pitbulls with a personality, as well as cats who provide me some freedom in my daily routine. I've also provided all sorts of medical care to my furry friends: simple pills in pill pockets, "pilling" a cat, checking glucose levels of a diabetic cat and giving it insulin injections, giving a dog allergy immunizations, post-seizure comfort care to a dog, physical guidance for a dog who was both blind and deaf, and sincere patience with senior dogs on walks, going up stairs, or who are in the stage of life of needing to wear diapers. I've also watched service dogs who adhere to a different set of rules/commands than their siblings. (When I was younger, I helped train a litter of puppies, so that's also not foreign to me.) While the pet- and house-sitting experience I have amassed is top-quality, my resume stems from and highlights a simple, true love for spending time with animals, especially dogs and cats. What you can count on from me as your pet-sitter: 1) I will end the sit with various nicknames for your pets, 2) I will talk to them all day and invite them into every room I hang out in (as long as they're allowed), 3) I will send you at least one/two picture(s) a day, if not more because you request it or they do something extra cute/funny, and 4) I am very attentive to animals' nonverbal cues, and I will contact you and/or a virtual vet if something seems really off. Through both pet-sitting platforms I’ve used, I have made so many furry friends and have cultivated relationships with pet owners and their communities. In my profile pictures, I have included some of my reviews on the other platform I've used, specifically to showcase the kinds of animal families I have watched and how I am used to pet-sitting (and living my life) in different places all the time. However, if a pet-owner is still curious, I would be happy to provide them with my full profile link. As a nomad, I also want to emphasize that the locations and dates for which I am searchable are 100% confirmed, stable, and are not at risk of changing. (When I am looking to do Rover, I tend to be renting a place in one spot for a while, location/plans determined several months in advance.) If you are at all hesitant about my ability to take care of your furry friends, I'd love to hop on a call and tell you more about my lifestyle or my plans for my time in your area! Pet-sitting has been such a huge part of my nomadic journey, and I can’t imagine anything better. Pet-sitting is something I’ve done since childhood (back then, for neighbors), and I’ve utilized it to travel in adulthood. I converted to / added on Rover several months ago to monetize my experience in light of being impacted by a mass layoff. I wanted to utilize the top-tier experience I’d built to financially stabilize my life while in a full-time job search, but also beyond. Nowadays, I am working remotely again part-time (with a super flexible/self-set schedule), which only deepens my ability to travel to other parts of town to check in on pets and walk dogs while doing, or in between, my digital work, which I can do in various settings! In addition to being able to travel to a pet-sit during the day, to work with a furry friend cuddled up on my lap, go on walks, etc., I am really enjoying having extra time to pursue some side creative passion projects that I’ve historically had to put on the back burner! I love to spend my free time writing/blogging, scrapbooking, reading, practicing yoga, doing all of that in nature/parks, cooking/baking at home, and going out social dancing! Your pet is sure to have a best friend in me, no matter their energy level. :-) I'm a digital nomad, and pet-sitting has been such a huge part of my journey! I am super excited to be back in Denver for yet another fall season, and I'm eager to share my time with your pets! My calendar is updated for those dates I'm available. I can start my days early and stay up late; I've watched pets who rise before the sun comes up, as well as ones who sleep in like teenagers! I have a lot of remote, digital work to do, and your pet is welcome to sit in my lap / at my feet while I work. In my part-time employment era, I have more flexibility and time on my hands, so I figure I might as well expand my time with pets! If you need someone throughout the day, I love a good coffee shop, so I can hang out at one in your area between drop-ins. Even though I’m renting in your city, for the right price, I look forward to keeping your pets company overnight <3 (most of my experience on Rover so far). In my free time, I enjoy blogging/writing, reading, practicing yoga, cooking and baking, enjoying coffee shops and parks, and going on walks. So, both energetic and calm pets will have a buddy in me. I love a good night in, but I also love to explore new neighborhoods. I look forward to doing so while watching over your furry family! I only agree to pet-sits I feel confident about meeting the pet/home-owners' expectations. Luckily for those searching for the best care for their fur family, I have an extremely wide range of successful experience in medical, psychological/anxiety, and senior pet care, as well as home care. Some pets simply need--and want--a human to take them outside and feed them. Others require a bit more attention. I think I really have done it all. I've watched over and bonded with eager, cuddly pets, as well as many rescued/previously-stray dogs who take quite a bit of time to warm up, and cats who fill the litter box and empty the food bowl but rarely show their face. I'm always eager to give the animals my love and affection, should they welcome it, and to fulfill their care needs. I follow all procedures and care that your pet is used to / that you request for them and your home. I am very attentive to pet-owners' instructions, from feeding instructions to crating needs during specific amounts of time alone/overnight, to medication instructions and symptoms to look out for, to times your fur baby needs to be let out or prefers to wake for the day or go to bed. If your pet loves to cuddle and is allowed in the bed or on the couch, they will be welcome to join me. Additionally, I've been astounded to learn how important the HOUSE-sitting portion can be. . . . I've saved a flooding bathroom caused by the connected unit, handled a creepy neighbor while keeping the homeowner involved, kept a saltwater pool clean and operating, oversaw an AC and furnace replacement, and more. Especially for overnight stays, I am known to leave homes just as clean, if not cleaner, than I found them, with bedding and towels taken care of if my departure time allows.

About: Hi there! I’m a teacher in Denver and a lifelong animal lover. My love for animals started young, helping out at my aunt’s dog shelter as a kid. That early experience taught me a lot about patience and reading animals’ needs. Since then, I’ve cared for my own family pets across many dog breeds, and I regularly watch animals for family and friends, including a few with tricky temperaments. That’s given me a calm, steady approach no matter the personality I’m working with. At home, I share my life with my partner, our 7 year old American Bulldog, Teddy, and 3 year old hedgehog, Cosmo, so I’m well versed in caring for pets with different needs. That experience carries over into how I care for every pet I sit for. I’m very attentive and understand that pets can have unique needs, whether that’s medical care, anxiety, or a specific routine. Your pet’s comfort and safety is always a priority. As a teacher, my weekdays are pretty structured. I’m at school until 4, but I love using that after school time for dog walking; it’s a nice change of pace. Weekends are mostly reserved for my boarding clients, but if you need a longer stay, I’m happy to make accommodations if communicated beforehand. I have a fenced yard, grassy and shaded, perfect for playtime and potty breaks. I also have a backyard camera so your pet is always looked after, even when we step inside, and a large dog crate is available too if that’s part of your pet’s comfort routine. I’ll follow your feeding, medication, and routine instructions closely to keep things consistent, and I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of quality time, whether that’s playing, cuddling, or just relaxing together. My own dog, Teddy, is friendly and well socialized, so your pup will have great company and won’t be alone. You’ll get regular photo updates throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing your baby is happy and safe.

“Anna took amazing care of Louie! She took him on hikes, kept him active, and sent me pictures every day of their adventures. It was great knowing he was in such good hands. I’d definitely book with her again!”

“Monica is an excellent sitter. Our dog boarded with her for nearly 2 weeks and he was top shape when he came back. When we brought him to her he had some minor health issues (eye infection, skin irritation) that required some attention and medications that she very nicely provided. She also enjoyed playing with him, bringing him for walks, and in a safe park for runs. He is missing her for sure! I recommend Monica 100%!”

“Timea and her husband were wonderful sitters to our baby Lexi! We could tell she was so loved and well taken care of when we went on our trip. Highly recommend Timea and will be booking with her again”

“Murphy enjoyed his stay with Maritza. She sent pics throughout each day! Murphy was so tired when I picked him up from playing with Maritza’s dogs. I would definitely book again❤️”

“This is the second time Loki has stayed with Kristy and Nathan. We feel so comfortable knowing he's in good hands while we're away. They are great communicators and take adorable photos!”

“This was our first time ever boarding Aspen, and as nervous dog parents, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Jill. Aspen is an only child and can be a little needy and barky at times, and she definitely takes a while to warm up to new people. Before the stay, we asked if we could bring Aspen over briefly so she could meet Jill and get familiar with her and the environment. Jill was so kind and flexible in letting us do that, which gave both my partner and me so much peace of mind. To our surprise, Aspen warmed up to Jill and her yard immediately! Drop-off went smoothly, and throughout the weekend Jill took such great care of Aspen. She sent us photos and updates, which kept us in the loop and reassured us that our puppy was happy and doing well. She was also very flexible with pickup since we weren’t sure exactly when we’d be back in town, and that meant a lot. It was such a relief knowing our person-picky girl was in such good hands. We’re so grateful for the care and attention Jill gave Aspen and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, thoughtful dog sitter!”

“This is the first time we engaged Jocelin to watch our dogs overnight and she did great! Walked them, played in the back yard and sent us photos of their stay. Highly recommend!”
“Krissy is simply amazing! To prepare for boarding our dog for a week, Krissy helped build the relationship with our us and our pet several weeks prior. We are so thankful for Krissy’s natural ability to connect with pets. She is sincerely kind and made our dog feel safe and loved.”

“My pup had such a great time and I could tell she enjoyed the time with Brittani and Travis. I got pictures and updates daily. Absolutely would take her back there again!”

“Rocky had another great stay with Staci. This time for 8 days. She took care of all of his needs and treats him like her own, which gives me peace of mind when I’m out of town.”
