“Claire has the calmest and most gentle demeanor and Chloe instantly took to her. She was very easy to communicate with and we are already planning to use her again this week!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my family and house since I was born, so taking care of dogs comes naturally to me. Throughout high school, I was known to be the dog walker and watcher of the neighborhood. I would watch dogs for weeks or even just check in once and awhile for a walk. I continue to take care of my own dogs when my parents are away and even on a daily basis. What makes me stand out is that I have a genuine love for animals and I’m very reliable. I also specialize in anxious, hyper and even older dogs. My dog is very anxious and old so I know how to meet their needs. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel comfortable and well cared for. I’m committed to taking care of whatever a dog needs to feel comfortable. I’m currently out of school for the months of June and July. I have no schedule and I’m free most of the days. I would like to use these days to take care and visit your loved animal. I provide care in my clients home where I can keep a pets routine normal and comfortable. I don’t offer boarding in my own home
“Matthew was incredibly attentive to all of our critters needs and even took our pup for a little extra long walk. He is very pleasant and communicative which was so helpful for our last minute booking. I would recommend him without hesitation!”

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Back home in Turkey, I had my own pets, I took care of my friends pets while they were on vacation. I regularly looked after stray cats and dogs; feeding them, giving them water, and making sure they felt safe. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and treating them with love and patience as if they were my own♥️ i'm currently working as a teacher during the weekdays 7:30am to 4:30pm i would love to fill out the rest of my time with spending time with pets!! i am fully available weekends as long as i'm not working, i will try to fit into your and your pets schedule. you can tell me what are your pets needs and what they love, i will always try to show up with them happily
“Daniela was great. She came by and did a drop in and then we had her back for an overnight stay with our animals. All of the pets loved her. She was a great communicator and sent several pictures which we loved getting. She left the house spotless. We will book with her again. Thank you Daniela”

“I have had a difficult time finding a reliable and well communicating dog sitter and I finally found the one, Emma! She took care of my old dog and my very high energy and also leash reactive Labrador. She took lots of photos communicated with a detailed description about every time she saw them and also notified me about when one of them had an accident from an upset stomach. She even played ball in addition to taking them out for a walk every day and went above and beyond so that my dogs had enough stimulation while I was gone. I would definitely use her again. I’ve had over seven different dog sitters because I travel a lot on the weekend and the only one I truly trust now is Emma.”

About: I’ve been taking care of other people’s pets since I was 15, and working on Rover for about a year and a half. I know how important our fur families are and would love to be there to support your dog(s) and/or cat(s) while you are away. I have experience with multiple breeds of dogs, such as Pit Bulls, Greyhounds, German Shepherds, Shih Tzus, Beagles, Golden-Doodles, Schnauzers, Chihuahuas and all sorts of mixed-breeds. All ages welcome, as I have experience working with dogs from ~3 months to 16 years old. Additionally, I have experience working with dogs and cats with disabilities and special needs, such as blindness, deafness, heart murmurs, joint issues, hip dysplasia, and thyroid conditions. I’m experienced in providing oral medication, eye drops, and vitamins/supplements. I am highly attuned to the ways pets express their feelings of joy, love, and fear. I use this knowledge to support my care for them and am responsive to the ways they communicate their comfort levels. My main goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your pets to thrive while you are away. I care for the animals I sit for as if they were mine! I know the pet parent’s experience is just as important and send pictures, videos, and detailed updates daily to ensure they know their families are getting amazing care while they’re away. I work from home and can easily transition my workstation to any place necessary. Most of my plans I have are flexible and local. I love going on walks and spending time at home reading/crafting. I update my calendar regularly on Rover to ensure it’s correct for ease of use. I am happy to provide care in client’s homes and keep it clean as if it were my own place. The families I work with often comment I left their homes cleaner than when they left. I’m happy to help water plants, grab mail, take out the trash, bring in packages, and anything else that helps take care of your home while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can easily keep your fur babies on their feeding, walking, and bathroom schedules.
“Bridgett took excellent care of our furr babies while we were away for a week. This was the longest we have been separated from them and it a great reassurance to have Bridgett care for them. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Dacono with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
