Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced caregiver, with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I grew up with both dogs and cats, including helping neighbors and administering medications, and today I regularly care for my friends’ and family’s pets in addition to my own. I share my home with Tiger, my sweet and social senior boxer/lab/whippet mix. He has a calm, friendly personality and loves making dog friends. We live in a townhome with a small yard, and I enjoy getting outside for walks, playtime, and rollerblading. We also have a fenced in dog park in our neighborhood we like to walk to. I offer both boarding at my home (for dogs) and overnight house sitting for dogs, cats, and other family pets. Whether your pet stays with me or I stay with them in your home, they’ll receive constant attention, love, and care. Your pet’s routine will be followed closely, including meals, medications, walks, and playtime. I occasionally step out briefly for errands or other scheduled visits, but I’m always back promptly, and your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes so you can relax knowing your pets are happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. My goal is simple: peace of mind for pet parents and a fun, caring experience for every animal in my care.

Rachael did a great job with all our dogs. She also did great with our tortoise and chickens! She was very thoughtful and communicative, sending frequent updates. Will definitely be asking her to come back next time we go out of town!

Rachel did a wonderful job taking care of our pups over a 2 day period. She was punctual, friendly, and performed extra duties we were not anticipating.
Rachael was so great with my senior pup! She administered his medicine on time daily, and listened to his needs regarding exercise in the heat. Her dog Tiger got along great with my dog, even though Dutch kept trying to take over all of the sleeping places. Rachael was super communicative, she sent lots of pictures, and demonstrated that she had taken the time to read thru and understand all of my pup’s care instructions. I would trust Rachael to watch Dutch again!

Schedule
I’m a fully remote worker, so I spend my days at home with my dog, Tiger, who is 11.5 years old and has a calm, friendly personality. Caring for pets is a natural part of my routine. I take Tiger on regular walks, provide meals and medications on schedule, and make sure he gets plenty of attention. Because of this, I’m able to give other dogs consistent, loving care throughout the day, whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or extended stays.

I provide a safe, loving environment with a fenced-in yard for play, consistent meals, walks, and medications. As a fully remote worker, I’m home all day to give pets attention and supervision. I also follow client instructions carefully, keeping pets happy, safe, and well cared for while providing updates for peace of mind.

A typical day
A typical day with me starts with some supervised play in our fenced-in yard, followed by a walk around Waneka Lake in Lafayette or, if your dog enjoys off-leash time, a visit to Boulder Dry Creek Dog Park (Voice and Sight Program) or our small dog park in our neighborhood. I provide plenty of mental and physical stimulation with an overflowing basket of toys and interactive play. Throughout the day, I make sure pets have meals, any medications, and lots of attention, cuddles, and companionship, so they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
