[MEET & GREET] I’d love to schedule a Meet & Greet to see the kind of vibes your pup and my dogs create together—this is key to making it a win-win for everyone. My 12-year-old Goldendoodle can be a bit protective and occasionally jealous, but he’s generally calm and friendly. My 8-year-old Poodle is very social—sometimes a little too friendly! If your pup is the type who’s easygoing, wags their tail at new friends, and isn’t overly dominant, there’s a great chance they’ll all get along well. [STAIRS] Access to the backyard is through our walkout basement, which requires dogs to use a set of carpeted stairs. While they’re not slippery, stairs are still stairs—so if your pup has any difficulty with stairs, please let me know in advance! [FURNITURE] Dogs are welcome anywhere in our home, and our own pups usually sleep on our bed. If your dog is trained to stay off furniture, just let me know—I’ll do my best to maintain your pup’s usual rules. If your pup sleeps in a crate, it’s a good idea to bring it along to help them feel at home—otherwise, they’re welcome to snuggle up on one of our many cozy dog beds! [HEALTH] For the safety of all our furry guests, up-to-date vaccinations and flea/tick prevention are required prior to arrival. Please ensure your pup is protected before their stay. **Summer 2026 Update** Colorado is experiencing an especially active mosquito, flea, and tick season this year. To help keep our environment safe, our backyard will be treated biweekly with dog-friendly pest control products, including Wondercide® (cedar-based) and Vet’s Best® flea and tick treatments. We strongly encourage all dogs to be on a veterinarian-recommended flea and tick preventive, such as Frontline® or a similar product, before their stay.
